论全球化语境中我国的饮食消费文化

全球化作为客观历史发展过程,核心是"复杂的联结".全球化语境中的饮食消费文化具有三项基本特征:空前的丰盛性、膨胀的求新性、危险的整体性.对其的批判可以从浪费、盲目和殖民三方面展开,以积极建设全球化语境中的当代审美文化.

Investigating the Information Systems Heterarchy

This article assesses how one IS organization is changing in response to the increased globalization of software development and posits the emergence of a new form of multi-national enterprise (MNE)—the heterarchy. Data from two projects create new insights into the structures and behaviors of IS MNEs as they adapt to global systems development. The article identifies four primary dimensions of impact—cultural, economic, operational, and organizational—and suggests how such organizations are evolving.

Inexact Newton methods for model simulation

Robust and efficient solution techniques for solving macroeconometric models are increasingly becoming a key factor in developing models employed by policy-making institutions for policy simulations and forecasting. Traditionally, when solved in the presence of forward-looking variables, these models are nonlinear, large-scale and sparse and give rise to large and highly structured nonlinear systems. This paper proposes a Newton-GMRES method obtained tuning up the basic algorithm by properly choosing the forcing terms sequence and the preconditioning strategy. In addition, the Newton–GMRES method is wrapped into a globalization strategy based on a nonmonotone linesearch technique in order to enlarge its convergence basin and to enhance its robustness. The combination of these ingredients yields a reliable method with low memory requirements. Numerical experiments using the MULTIMOD model and a basic real business cycle model are presented. A Matlab code based on this approach is provided.

本文通过对全球化时代背景下国内外较有代表性的大空间公共建筑实例的分析，从表达地域文化的造型、空间、材料和技术四个方面，探讨了其设计手法和表达方式，希望对今后的大空间公共建筑设计应对全球化的趋势有所帮助。     

Beyond the romantic and naı¨ve: the search for a complex ecological aesthetic design language for landscape architecture in New Zealand

Landscape design is an expression and repository of cultural values and beliefs, and in Aotearoa, New Zealand, the designed landscape faces particular challenges. Globalization is seen as a potential threat to landscape identity, which is even more significant for a country which has built its economy and self-image from its unique natural landscape. The potential for resistance is limited by the small size and youth of the profession of landscape architecture in New Zealand. While traditions of farming and gardening extend back to early European settlement in the mid nineteenth century, and beyond to indigenous Maori practices of land modification, professional landscape design is a relatively recent development (the first tertiary course in landscape architecture began at Lincoln College (now Lincoln University) in 1969). Landscape design in New Zealand draws its vocabulary from the power of the country's natural heritage landscapes, convinced that a naturalistic aesthetic exclusively represents environmental health. Some of the core values of New Zealand society are, however, overlooked by designers. The need to develop a critically informed design language which includes the farming landscape along with the natural one is argued. The invention of such a language, referred to as a complex ecological aesthetic, is seen as a potential source of design expression that is invigorated by the tension between mechanistic and natural landscape aesthetics. It therefore has the potential to promote environmental health, while being regionally grounded, and can help face the challenges that globilization poses to the landscape.
