Quality of Service in VoIP Communication

The focus of this paper lies in the practical aspects of voice over IP communication. VoIP configurations in the H.323 standard will be presented briefly. Following that, the fundamental protocol procedure of H.323 communication will be briefly explained. A further part of the paper will address the subject QoS (quality of service), and present the common measurement methods used in QoS. Results gained from experiments conducted in a VoIP environment will then follow. The investigations concentrate primarily on the load behavior of voice packets in relation to important parameters of this service. The results obtained are presented and evaluated in diagrams. The paper concludes with a summary.     

Measurement Method of the Thickness Uniformity for Polymer Films

Several methods for investigating the thickness uniformity of polymer thin films are presented as well their measurement principles.A comparison of these experimental methods is given.The cylindrical lightwave feflection method is found to can obtain the thickness distribution along a certain direction.It is simple and suitable method to evaluate the film thickness uniformity.     

锰铜基高阻尼合金中锌量的测定──硫氰酸盐萃取分离络合滴定法

基于甲基异丁基甲酮于稀盐酸介质中定量地萃取Ｚｎ￣（２＋）与ＣＮＳ￣－形成的络阴离子。从而达到与共存的锰、镍、铝、铬的完全分离。在有氟化物、硫脲存在时Ｆｅ￣（３＋）、Ｃｎ￣（２＋）和Ａｇ￣＋也不被萃取。有机相中的锌于ＰＨ５．５“六胺”缓冲介质中返萃取回水相，用ＥＤＴＡ滴定。在文中给定的条件下锌的一次被萃取率可达９９％以上，成功地解决了锰铜基高阻尼合金中共存离子对锌量测定的干扰问题。     

Optimal Layout of Displacement Measurements for Parameter Identification Process in Geomechanics

This paper focuses on designing the optimal layout of measurements for parameter identification problems in geomechanics, which are usually based on in situ displacements. The existence, uniqueness, and stability of the solution from the parameter identification process are thoroughly discussed. Based on these understandings of the problem, two algorithms are proposed as a means of automatically generating the optimal measurements. The validity of these algorithms is first proved by some academic examples, then these algorithms are applied to the Munich subway tunnel project. Good results are observed there.

Measurement of the Timoshenko Shear Stiffness. II: Effect of Transverse Compressibility

This is the second of two papers devoted to the issue of measuring the Timoshenko shear stiffness of thin-walled composite beams. In the first paper, the effect of warping on the effective Timoshenko shear stiffness, as measured through bending tests, was studied. The bending test was simulated using finite-element analysis, and the results indicated that the warping effect was minimal. On the other hand, the evidence suggests that transverse flexibility may have a significant influence on the effective Timoshenko shear stiffness, decreasing the effective shear stiffness at shorter test spans. The purpose of the present study is to further investigate this effect and to explore the use of a sandwich theory to predict the measurement error. A higher-order sandwich theory, which captures the transverse strain at concentrated loads and supports, is applied to a commercially available thin-walled composite beam. The results indicate that the sandwich model does capture the decrease in the effective shear stiffness at short spans, and the dependence of the shear stiffness on span-to-depth ratio is similar to that calculated in the first paper, using the finite-element method.

A Survey of Inverse Surface Design From Light Transport Behavior Specification

Inverse surface design problems from light transport behavior specification usually represent extremely complex and costly processes, but their importance is well known. In particular, they are very interesting for lighting and luminaire design, in which it is usually difficult to test design decisions on a physical model in order to avoid costly mistakes. In this survey, we present the main ideas behind these kinds of problems, characterize them, and summarize existing work in the area, revealing problems that remain open and possible areas of further research.     

西安脉冲堆源区测量仪表的研制

西安脉冲反应堆源区测量仪表是源区低端测量的关键仪表，同时也是反应堆堆外中子通量监测仪表系统的重要组成部分，该仪表在同类型反应堆仪表的基础上进行了研制改进和更新，使仪表在测量灵敏度、测量范围、抗干扰能力、可靠性及可维修性等主要性能指标方面有了较大提高。简要介绍了该仪表的设计思想、构成、工作原理、主要技术指标、应用效果及特点等。     

非接触式叶片振测系统的叶尖定时传感器的研究

介绍了一种新型的叶尖定时传感器 ,传感器采用Y型耦合光纤与自聚焦透镜相结合 ,实现聚光照明及叶尖散射光的高效收集 ,大大提高了检测灵敏度。光源采用 4 5mW的半导体激光器 ,光电接收元件采用雪崩式光电二极管。传感器具有体积小、结构简单、成本低、安装和调节方便、测量精度高等优点。实验表明 ,该传感器对信号有良好的接收能力 ,满足涡轮机叶片高速、实时检测的要求 ,能为后续处理电路提供稳定而可靠的信号
