Ultem 1000 polyetherimide films prepared by cast-evaporating technique were covered with a 1H,1H,2H-tridecafluoro-oct-1-ene (PFO) plasma-polymerized layer. The effects of the plasma exposure time on the surface composition were studied by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, and surface energy analysis. The surface topography of the plasma layer was deduced from scanning electron microscopy. The F/C ratio for plasma-polymerized PFO under the input RF power of 50 W can be as high as 1.30 for 480 s and ∼0.4–2 at % of oxygen was detected, resulting from the reaction of long-lived radicals in the plasma polymer with atmospheric oxygen. The aqueous dispersions based on perfluorinated acrylate and other comonomers were prepared by means of emulsion polymerization in the presence of stearyl trimethyl ammonium chloride (STAC) and 2,2′‐azobis(2‐amidinopropane) dihydrochloride (ABAP) as water‐soluble initiators. Several different types of resins and additives were added with the water‐repellent polymers. Hydrostatic pressure and water repellency of fabrics that were treated by fluorinated water repellents with different recipes were measured and compared. In addition, the nano clay and the blocked isocyanate crosslinking agent (Jintexguard FCN) do, indeed, substantially increase the hydrostatic pressure. Actually, increased hydrostatic pressure for the water repellent treated fabrics is our objective of this study. However, our recipes containing the fluorinated‐acrylate copolymer, nano clay, and Jintexguard FCN will successfully provide excellent hydrostatic pressure, excellent water repellency, and excellent soft hand. © 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. p‐Perfluoro{1‐[2‐(2‐fluorosulfonyl‐ethoxy)propoxy]}ethylated poly(α‐ methyl styrene) 3 was synthesized via electron transfer of perfluoro‐di{2‐[2‐(2‐fluorosulfonyl‐ethoxy)propoxy]}propionyl peroxide 2 and poly(α‐methyl styrene) 1 at different reactant molar ratios (2 : 1). The modified polymer 3 was characterized by various techniques. The ring p‐substitution was proved by FTIR and 19FNMR. The desulfonation appeared at above 124°C was found by TGA. The molecular weight determined by GPC increased with the increase of reactant molar ratio, and the polydispersity values indicated there was no degradation of the parent polymer chain in the reaction. Followed by hydrolysis and acidification, the modified polymer 3 could be further quantitatively converted into its sulfonic form 4. 针对普通丙烯酸外墙乳胶涂料耐沾污性不足的缺陷,利用有机氟改性丙烯酸乳液,合成了壳层含氟的内软外硬型丙烯酸酯核壳复合乳液.并采用自制乳液配制了外墙乳胶涂料,研究了壳层含氟的乳液对外墙涂料耐沾污性的影响.结果表明:与不掺加有机氟的丙烯酸酯乳液相比,通过在壳层聚合时加入一定量的氟单体,核壳乳液涂膜的表面接触角和疏水性显著提高,漆膜吸水率明显降低,使得涂料的耐沾污性得到显著改善.由于氟组分主要分布于壳层,含量很少就可获得显著的改性效果. 相似文献

Our objective is to develop a versatile and facile method that allows the synthesis of novel primary fluorinated co‐oligomers as precursors of photo‐crosslinkable networks. Transparent carboxyl‐terminated fluorinated co‐oligomers with molecular weights ranging between 2000 and 10 400 g mol?1 were synthesized via facile degradation. The structural changes of fluorinated backbone were investigated using various analysis techniques. Then two major approaches, namely esterification and ring opening, were applied to obtain photochemical diacrylates (HEMA‐ and GMA‐IEM‐terminated co‐oligomers). These two precursors can be cured in 60 s under UV radiation without high temperature, high pressure or toxic solvent. The glass transition temperatures of HEMA‐ and GMA‐IEM‐terminated fluoropolymers at about ?20 °C, assessed from differential scanning calorimetry, showed an increase after crosslinking, and the glass transitions at 20 °C were no longer observed. These two crosslinked films were found to have higher decomposition temperatures, when compared to starting precursors. The contact angles on the surface of the two elastomer materials were only about 74° and 78°, which increased to 105° and 110° after UV irradiation. The tensile strength of the two cured fluoroelastomers can still reach 1.3 MPa at 200 °C. © 2019 Society of Chemical Industry 相似文献
