Revising deductive knowledge and stereotypical knowledge in a student model

A user/student model must be revised when new information about the user/student is obtained. But a sophisticated user/student model is a complex structure that contains different types of knowledge. Different techniques may be needed for revising different types of knowledge. This paper presents a student model maintenance system (SMMS) which deals with revision of two important types of knowledge in student models: deductive knowledge and stereotypical knowledge. In the SMMS, deductive knowledge is represented by justified beliefs. Its revision is accomplished by a combination of techniques involving reason maintenance and formal diagnosis. Stereotypical knowledge is represented in the Default Package Network (DPN). The DPN is a knowledge partitioning hierarchy in which each node contains concepts in a sub-domain. Revision of stereotypical knowledge is realized by propagating new information through the DPN to change default packages (stereotypes) of the nodes in the DPN. A revision of deductive knowledge may trigger a revision of stereotypical knowledge, which results in a desirable student model in which the two types of knowledge exist harmoniously.

由于对测井电缆机械性能缺乏了解,使用不规范,使测井电缆使用寿命降低.通过对测井电缆结构、制造工艺进行分析,进一步掌握其性能,提出通过正确安装、使用前需进行稳定化处理、在使用中注意控制起下速度、日常清洁润滑、定期对电缆进行维护保养等方法维持铠装层正常状态,减少层间摩擦力,不扭曲,缆芯通断良好等方法,从而延长电缆的使用寿命.     

核电站设备的维修优化

以核电站设备的维修特征分析为基础,建立了修理性预防维修模型;同时针对核电站设备,对与维修相关的费用和与故障后相关的费用进行了详细的量化研究.最后从故障概率和维修费用出发,讨论了预防维修周期的确定与相应变化,并给出随费用和故障率变化的曲线.     

高层地下室底板混凝土施工的裂缝控制

以德益花园写字公寓楼地下室底板205m厚混凝土的施工工程为例，坚持预防为主的原则，采取了一系列温控技术措施，有效地防止或控制了温度裂缝(收缩裂缝)的产生，确保了混凝土的施工质量。     

智能电动机控制器在电收尘通风机上的应用

对智能电动机控制器的情况作了介绍，结合工作实践提出了维护要点和建议，并对该控制器的参数设置进行了说明，这对使用该设备的工业企业有一定的指导意义。     

A model for preventive maintenance operations and forecasting

Equipment costs constitute the greatest majority of overall costs for semiconductor manufacturing. Therefore, maintaining high equipment availability has been regarded as one of the major goals in the industry. The ability to forecast correctly equipment preventive maintenance (PM) timing requirements not only can help optimizing equipment uptime but also minimizing negative impacts on manufacturing production efficiency. This research used grey theory and evaluation diagnosis to construct a PM forecasting model for prediction of PM timing of various machines. The results showed significant improvements of PM timing predictions compared to the existing method based on experience and an alternative method proposed by Li and Chang (Semiconductor Manufacturing Technology Workshop 2002: 10–11, pp. 275–277) for the same fab cases. 含缺陷压力管系断裂失效风险分析系统（Ⅲ）——在检修和维护中的应用

针对石油工业管道上可能存在的各种缺陷类型 ,充分考虑缺陷尺寸、工况载荷、断裂韧度和机械强度等参数的不确定性 ,应用含缺陷压力管系断裂失效风险分析系统软件 (SAPP - 2 0 0 2 )计算管道系统中每个独立缺陷的安全概率 ,并对整个管道系统进行断裂失效风险分析。另外 ,在制定管道的检修计划时 ,可以利用该系统的结构应力分析模块方便地确定出管道应力高度集中部位 ,有针对性地选择焊缝并进行射线探伤 ,使管道的安全状况分析更准确。还可以利用该系统软件的分析结果制定出旨在降低失效风险的管道结构改进措施 ,达到缓解应力集中或使应力集中区与缺陷所在位置分离 ,优化管道结构 ,以较低成本提高管道完整性水平的目的。对提高企业压力管道管理水平具有推动作用
