自动切断矩形浇口的卫浴连接器注射模具设计

以卫浴连接器为研究对象,利用UG软件对卫浴连接器及模具进行了分析设计;对塑件进行了工艺性分析,该模具需要3个方向侧向分型抽芯,分别采用斜导柱外抽芯和斜滑块内抽芯的抽芯方式,最大抽拔距为35 mm。模具最大特点是采用浮动浇口套自动切断矩形浇口。浮动浇口套是在浇口套上加一弹簧,留有一定的浮动空间,注射时,注射机喷嘴对浇口套施加压力压缩弹簧进行注射,注射结束后喷嘴移开,模具开模,浮动浇口套复位,浮动螺钉在弹簧的作用下,带动浮动板向定模移动,而塑件随凸模向动模移动,定模板与浮动板形成剪切,矩形浇口被剪断。在不增加模具成本的前提下,减轻劳动强度,有利于实现自动化操作。

通过对分配器失效形式的分析研究，结构进行改进、制造工艺优化，使分配器使用性能及寿命进一步提高。     

A study on effects of ceramic foam filter on flow aspect through water modeling experiment

Casting defects that are closely related to entrapped air bubbles and metallic oxides occur very frequently in the sand mold casting process. Many researchers have shown that these defects can be reduced by adopting an appropriate gating system design. However, it is difficult for field engineers to identify a specific gating system that is more appropriate for their products. In this study, we tried to draw a comparison between two gating system designs with and without a ceramic foam filter. The ceramic foam filter was added to the horizontal runner just after the down sprue to prevent air bubble generation and reduce turbulence without a change of gating system design. The water modeling experiment was conducted with four different amounts of the initial volumes of water in the reservoir to verify the effects of initial pouring velocity. The results of the experiment applying the filter showed remarkably changed flow characteristics. The use of the filter was found to convert the flow pattern of water in the desired direction. The ceramic foam filter performed well to reduce flow velocity and stabilize the waterstream.The flow pattern without a filter can be improved significantly even with the the use of just a 10 PPI irregular filter. Although the study confirmed that use of the filter may change the flow characteristics, it needs to be noted that the use of the ceramic filter alone cannot solve all the problems caused by a poorly designed gating system.     

Developments in investment casting process—A review

Investment casting has been used to manufacture weapons, jewellery and art castings during the ancient civilization. Today, its applications include jewellery/art castings, turbine blades and many more industrial/scientific components. The present paper reviews various investigations made by researchers in different stages of investment casting and highlights their importance. The paper initially highlights the investigations made on pattern wax properties, effects of blending, additives and fillers. Different ways through which pattern properties (like surface finish, dimensional accuracy, etc.) could be enhanced by properly controlling the injection processing parameters are thoroughly discussed. The paper also looks into the investigations made to enhance the strength, surface finish, etc. of ceramic shell for ferrous alloys/non-ferrous alloys as well as superalloys in investment casting. Investigations made on incorporation of nylon fibers and polymer additions confirm that a ceramic shell reinforced with nylon fibers attains additional permeability compared to the one with polymer additions.     

长抽芯注射模结构的改进

对长抽芯注射模进行了结构改进,改进后模具结构简单,装配容易,制造成本低,塑件脱模实现自动化控制,生产效率高,塑件精度高,完全能够满足企业生产的需要,有较大的推广价值。     

空心直浇道消失模铸造充型模式的数值模拟及分析

通过将空心直浇道消失模铸造完型过程处理为液态金属在普通砂型中的流动和置换消失模样的流动，实现了带有空心直浇道消失模铸造充型过程的数值计算，模拟对比分析了空心、实心直说道消失模铸造及其与普通砂型铸造充型模式的差异．     

手机天线注射模设计

介绍了手机天线的模具设计和成形工艺,对于既要保持产品原有品质性能,又有外观要求的此类模具设计,提出了嵌件设计和浇口设置方法及与立式注塑机配套使用的特殊模具结构。经实际验证,可进行批量生产,生产效率大大提高,质量稳定可靠,符合设计要求。     

税控收银机外壳的浇口位置优化

应用MPI软件对税控收银机外壳制品的浇口位置进行优化设计。基于CAE模拟,分析了塑料制品浇口位置对制品质量的影响,并通过经验的定性分析与CAE软件的定量模拟结合,实现了浇口位置的优化。     

薄壁壳体压铸模

针对深腔薄壁铸件填不满的问题,采用特殊的浇注系统——顶浇口进料,并设置容量较大的溢流槽,解决了铸件填不足的问题,保证了铸件的有效成型。设计了模具结构,论述了模具工作过程。该模具工作可靠,维修方便,生产效率高。     

基于UGNX的注塑模具浇口套的国标库的开发研究

以注塑模具浇口套(GB/T 4169.19-2006)为例,研究了利用UGNX下的MoldWizard模块,建立注塑模具零件国家标准件库的具体方法和步骤,对推广和应用国标有启示作用。
