Microfabrication by X‐ray‐induced polymerization above the lower critical solution temperature

A polymer synthesis method is presented in which chain growth driven by exothermic reaction stimulates a gradual chain collapse. The globular precipitates in such systems can be restrained from coalescing by polymerizing in a quiescent environment. Time‐resolved small‐angle scattering study of the methacrylic acid polymerization kinetics in a quiescent system above its lower critical solution temperature (LCST) in water reveals the following features of this method: (a) growing oligomers remain as rigid chains until a critical chain length is reached, at which they undergo chain collapse, (b) radius of gyration increases linearly with time until a critical conversion is reached, and (c) radius of gyration remains constant after the critical conversion, even while conversion is gradually increasing. Following this self‐stabilizing growth mechanism, we show that nanoparticles can be directly synthesized by polymerizing N‐isopropylacrylamide above its LCST in water. The average size of nanoparticles obtained from a polymer–solvent system is expected to be the maximum extent of reaction spread at that monomer concentration. This hypothesis was then verified by polymerizing N‐isopropylacrylamide above their LCST in water, but by initiating the reaction with X‐rays shielded by a mask. The microfabricated patterns conform well to the size and shape of the mask used confirming that the growing chains do not propagate beyond the exposed regions as long as the reaction temperature is maintained above the LCST. © 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 直接探测测风激光雷达的性能分析

综述了激光雷达大气风场测量的方法，提出了采用直接探测到量三维风场分布的F-P干涉仪方法，简述了测量原理，分析了系统的性能和测量误差，比较了基于分子散射和气溶胶散射的系统测量精度，给出了基于瑞利散射的激光雷达系统方案。     

VCSEL的偏振特性随注入电流变化的实验研究

注入电流是影响VCSEL偏振特性的重要因素。谊论文通过实验，测量了VCSEL的出射光偏振特性随着注入电流的变化。观察到了两次偏振转换的过程，即随着注入电流的升高出射偏振光由椭圆偏振光——圆偏振光——椭圆偏振光——圆偏振光——椭圆偏振光的过程，并且在变化的过程中电流的变化范围很小。     

基于二维直方图分析的二元子图微光图像增强处理

提出了基于二维直方图分析的二元子图微光图像增强处理算法，根据原始图像的二维直方图分布特征，依据相邻像素的相关性数据，将图像分割成二元子图像，对每个子图像分别进行直方图均衡增强处理，最后合成得到完整的处理图像，通过用信息容量等图像评价参数对实验结果进行分析，表明此算法克服了对整幅图像进行直方图均衡时难以把握局部细节的缺点，得到了具有较好视觉质量的处理后微光图像。     

Optical scattering in beef steak to predict tenderness using hyperspectral imaging in the VIS-NIR region

The objective of this research is to develop a non-destructive method for predicting cooked beef tenderness using optical scattering of light on fresh beef muscle tissue. A hyperspectral imaging system (λ = 496–1,036 nm) that consists of a CCD camera and an imaging spectrograph, was used to acquire beef steak images. The hyperspectral image consisted of 120 bands with spectral intervals of 4.54 nm. Sixty-one fresh beef steaks, including 44 strip loin and 17 tenderloin cuts, were collected. After imaging, the steaks were cooked and Warner-Bratzler shear (WBS) force values were collected as tenderness references. The optical scattering profiles were derived from the hyperspectral images and fitted to the modified Lorentzian function. Parameters, such as the peak height, full scattering width at half maximum (FWHM), and the slope around the FWHM were determined at each wavelength. Stepwise regression was used to identify 7 key wavelengths and parameters. The parameters were then used to predict the WBS scores. The model was able to predict WBS scores with an R = 0.67. Optical scattering implemented with hyperspectral imaging shows limited success for predicting current status of tenderness in beef steak.

提出了一种以粒子成像、粒子散射和统计光学为理论基础的污染扩散非定常瞬时浓度场的测量原理，设计了大范围瞬时浓度场测量系统，利用该系统对瞬时扩散的浓度场进行了实际测量，通过数字图像分析和处理得到污染扩散的非定常瞬时浓度场。

三代微光管均匀性测试与分析

利用自行研制的“光电阴极多信息量测试系统”首次对国产三代微光管中的GaAs光电阴极的均匀性进行了光谱响应测试 ,结果表明该国产三代微光管存在明显的非均匀性。利用曲线拟合方法估算了GaAs光电阴极的材料性能参数 ,发现表面逸出概率不一致是非均匀性的主要原因 ,GaAs材料的少子扩散长度 (1 1 2～ 1 82 ) μm ,与阴极厚度相当 ,后界面复合速率在 (1× 1 0 5～ 1× 1 0 6 )cm/s之间 ,它限制了阴极灵敏度的提高
