Analysis of the Structure and Biosynthesis of the Lipopolysaccharide Core Oligosaccharide of Pseudomonas syringae pv. tomato DC3000

Lipopolysaccharide (LPS), the major component of the outer membrane of Gram-negative bacteria, is important for bacterial viability in general and host–pathogen interactions in particular. Negative charges at its core oligosaccharide (core-OS) contribute to membrane integrity through bridging interactions with divalent cations. The molecular structure and synthesis of the core-OS have been resolved in various bacteria including the mammalian pathogen Pseudomonas aeruginosa. A few core-OS structures of plant-associated Pseudomonas strains have been solved to date, but the genetic components of the underlying biosynthesis remained unclear. We conducted a comparative genome analysis of the core-OS gene cluster in Pseudomonas syringae pv. tomato (Pst) DC3000, a widely used model pathogen in plant–microbe interactions, within the P. syringae species complex and to other plant-associated Pseudomonas strains. Our results suggest a genetic and structural conservation of the inner core-OS but variation in outer core-OS composition within the P. syringae species complex. Structural analysis of the core-OS of Pst DC3000 shows an uncommonly high phosphorylation and presence of an O-acetylated sugar. Finally, we combined the results of our genomic survey with available structure information to estimate the core-OS composition of other Pseudomonas species.

研究了具有一定韧度的高强度结构钢裂纹早期扩展阻力与材料的微观组织结构、应力状态、变形历史和应变特性之间的关系。结果表明:裂纹扩展阻力(指J_R阻力曲线中的J_i和dJ/da)主要决定于裂纹尖端的塑性约束程度和应力应变场中消耗的弹性能和塑性功。这与三轴应力状态函数σ_mσ~(1/2)有关。材料的流变曲线描述了形变过程中的变形历史和应变特性,有明显的阶段性,其中第Ⅱ阶段的变形历史和应变特性制约着裂纹的启裂过程,第Ⅲ阶段的变形历史和应变特性制约着裂纹的扩展过程。应变硬化率dσ/dε可以敏感地反映出材料内部的应力分布和微观断裂机制。     

Structural stability of single-layered LaNi4.25Al0.75 film and its electrochemical hydrogen-storage properties

AB5-based hydrogen storage thin fdms （LaNi4.25Al0.75）, deposited on Cu substrate by dc magnetron sputtering were investigated in this study. X-ray diffraction （XRD） revealed that the microstructure of the layer was in crystal form. SEM and AFM analyses proved that the film appeared to be rather rough with numerous randomly sized pores of approximately 15-40 in nm diameter. Structural stability of the film was examined by the combined analyses of DSC, XRD, and SEM, which indicated that this film maintained its structural stability below 500 K or so, and a network structure was observed on the film after being heated at 700 K for 30 min. Electrochemical hydrogen-storage properties of the films were investigated by simulated battery tests. It was found that single-layered LaNi4.25A10.75 film exhibited electrochemical hydrogen-storage properties similar to typical AB5 alloys in bulk, and the maximum discharge capacity of the film was about 220 mAh/g. After 20 charge/discharge cycles, small needle-shaped aluminium oxide was formed on some fractions of the film surface.     

内燃式热风炉燃烧器结构优化

针对内燃式热风炉在燃烧期烟气中CO含量超标问题开展研究工作,提出一种改进型的矩形燃烧器结构,在煤气通道中加入挡板来改变高炉煤气的流动方向。以某公司3号高炉热风炉为研究对象,建立了内燃式热风炉矩形燃烧器和燃烧室的三维模型。利用CFD模拟技术对矩形燃烧器的原始结构和改进后的结构进行燃烧模拟,在矩形燃烧器中加入的煤气挡板分别采用45°、60°、75° 3种倾斜角度放置,分析在不同倾斜角度下的温度场和CO浓度场。与原始结构的结果进行对比,结果表明,优化结构之后燃烧室出口截面的温度场中高温区范围有所扩大,两端眼角处的CO平均体积分数有一定程度减少。当煤气挡板的倾斜角度为60°时出口截面平均温度上升最大,平均温度从1 669 K上升到1 676 K,出口烟气中的CO平均体积分数下降最多,CO平均体积分数从0.007 028%下降到0.005 678%。

Ti-45Al-2W-0.5Si-0.5B(ABB-23)铸造合金在800和900℃长期时效过程中发生组织失稳，包括α2板条断裂和合并，α2相转变为B2相，针状B2相球化和长大，γ等轴晶的生成以及片层间距的增加。ABB－23合金的热稳定性优于无B的ABB－2合金，表明添加B有利于提高合金的热稳定性。ABB－23合金在700－800℃范围内的抗蠕变能力超过同比密度的抗热腐蚀高温合金IN738LC，具有优异的高温蠕变性能。此外，还对比了ABB－23合金与其他几种TiAl基合金的高温蠕变性能。
