Three-Parameter Model for Debonding of FRP Plate from Concrete Substrate   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
Concrete beams retrofitted with bonded fiber reinforced plastic (FRP) plates often fail by debonding of the plate from the concrete surface. To predict the failure load in design, a proper debonding model is required. As debonding is a nonlinear process involving material softening, it can be analyzed once the interfacial shear (τ) versus sliding (s) relationship is known. Recent experimental results indicate that the simplest τ-s relationship should involve three parameters: the maximum shear stress for debonding to initiate, the initial residual stress right after debonding occurs, and a parameter governing the reduction of shear stress with sliding. In this paper, a FRP debonding model based on these three parameters is developed. The applicability of the model is verified through comparison with experimental results. Through a systematic parametric study, the effect of various material and geometric properties on the debonding process is investigated. Implications to the design of FRP strengthened members are highlighted.  相似文献

Using the interval finite-element method, the vibration control problem of structures with interval parameters is discussed, which is approximated by a deterministic one. Based on the first-order Taylor expansion, a method to solve the interval dynamic response of the closed-loop system is presented. The expressions of the interval stiffness and interval mass matrix are developed directly with the interval parameters. With matrix perturbation and interval extension theory, the algorithm for estimating the upper and lower bounds of dynamic responses is developed. The results are derived in terms of eigenvalues and left and right eigenvectors of the second-order systems. The present method is applied to a vibration system to illustrate the application. The effect of the different levels of uncertainties of interval parameters on responses is discussed. The comparison of the present method with the classical random perturbation is given, and the numerical results show that the present method is valid when the parameter uncertainties are small compared with the corresponding mean values.  相似文献

本文利用InfiniteOrderSuddenAppoximation[IOSA]计算了在107K─377K温度范围内O2─O2相互作用引起转动Raman谱线增宽的谱线宽度系数,并与实验值和经典计算值进行了比较。我们的计算结果比经典计算值更接近实验值,与实验值符合较好,说明IOSA方法在较低入射功能时也是有效的。  相似文献

This paper presents control charts models and the necessary simulation software for the location of economic values of the control parameters. The simulation program is written in FORTRAN, requires only 10K of main storage, and can run on most mini and micro computers. Two models are presented - one describes the process when it is operating at full capacity and the other when the process is operating under capacity. The models allow the product quality to deteriorate to a further level before an existing out-of-control state is detected, and they can also be used in situations where no prior knowledge exists of the out-of-control causes and the resulting proportion defectives.  相似文献

We develop a model of parametric probabilistic transition Systems (PPTSs), where probabilities associated with transitions may be parameters. We show how to find instances of the parameters that satisfy a given property and instances that either maximize or minimize the probability of reaching a certain state. As an application, we model a probabilistic non-repudiation protocol with a PPTS. The theory we develop allows us to find instances that maximize the probability that the protocol ends in a fair state (no participant has an advantage over the others). The differential settlement between the bridge abutment and the approach embankment produces the common “bump at the end of the bridge.” This paper conducts a theoretical study on the determination of the allowable differential settlement. The maximum transient vibration value of the acceleration is recommended as the vibration comfort index. A dynamic response analysis to Man-Vehicle-Road system is carried out by means of the Laplace transform in which the vehicle is modeled as a three-degree-of-freedom system, and the bridge approaches with and without approach-relative slopes are simplified as broken lines model and step model, respectively. Parametric studies are carried out to find out what kind of effects some parameters such as the driving direction and running speed may have on the allowable differential settlement. Finally, the method and computational procedures to determine the allowable differential settlement are presented.  相似文献

Two new diagnostic curve methods, which do not require the implicit or explicit determination of initial or final dial gauge readings for primary settlement, are proposed for the identification of the consolidation coefficient. Besides the estimate of the consolidation coefficient, these methods also yield an estimate of the range of primary settlement. In these methods, the diagnostically plotted points are matched to the diagnostic curves with a parallel shift of axes to yield the estimates of the consolidation coefficient and range of primary settlement. The new methods do not require dial gauge readings up to 100% of primary consolidation and can also be used even when very scarce data are available. Using the proposed methods, a nonideal condition can also be identified.  相似文献

Technical note discusses a detailed approach to dimensional analysis for the bridge pier scour phenomenon and the introduction of flow intensity. It demonstrates the dependence of critical upstream velocity on the rest of the parameters describing the process and its implications on dimensional analysis. Assuming that the viscous effects are negligible in the local scour phenomenon, it is concluded that the flow intensity of the approaching undisturbed flow is not an adequate parameter to describe the process in usual laboratory conditions.
