Are eating disorders culture-bound syndromes? Implications for conceptualizing their etiology.

The authors explore the extent to which eating disorders, specifically anorexia nervosa (AN) and bulimia nervosa (BN), represent culture-bound syndromes and discuss implications for conceptualizing the role genes play in their etiology. The examination is divided into 3 sections: a quantitative meta-analysis of changes in incidence rates since the formal recognition of AN and BN, a qualitative summary of historical evidence of eating disorders before their formal recognition, and an evaluation of the presence of these disorders in non-Western cultures. Findings suggest that BN is a culture-bound syndrome and AN is not. Thus, heritability estimates for BN may show greater variability cross-culturally than heritability estimates for AN, and the genetic bases of these disorders may be associated with differential pathoplasticity. 抽油机技术经济指标的模糊综合评价

针对我国抽油机评价过于笼统、模糊，缺乏全面性和综合性以及评价方法可操作性差的现状，提出了抽油机技术经济指标模糊综合评价方法。在确定抽油机评价指标的层次体系基础上，建立了抽油机技术经济指标模糊综合评价的数学模型，并以某厂CYJ10－3－53HB型抽油机为实例，对其运动和动力性能作了综合评价。这种模糊综合评价方法全面考虑各种性能指标以及它们对抽油机总体性能影响的不同程度，能得到较合理的评价结果，而且有较强的可操作性。     

不同类型在役抽油机机架受力分析

通过现场测试和检查,对油田特定区域内经过优化后的各种不同类型抽油机在额定载荷下的支架以及连杆受力情况进行了分析和评价。为在油田范围内进行机采设备的选型和推广提供一些参考。     

一种新型采油车

新型采油车是在奔驰车底盘上加装机械采油系统构成，其动力由取力器从发动机取出，通过液压传动系统传递给采油抽子，进行采油作业。现场应用结果表明，与其他采油车相比，这种新型采油车具有功率大、采油抽子具有自我保护功能、钢丝绳密封寿命长、可全方位对中油井等特点。     

Kinetochemical and morphological differentiation of ettringites by the Le Chatelier-Anstett test

In this research, former XRD experiments have been verified by Le Chatelier-Ansttet (L-A) test. For this purpose, 28 cements consisting of 7 Portland cements and 21 blended cements containing 20%, 30% and 40% metakaolin have been submitted to the Le Chatelier-Anstett (L-A) test for 2 years. With all these cements, L-A specimens were manufactured and a direct parameter was measured for these specimens: increase in diameter, Δ∅, or diameter growth. Other complementary determinations were chemical analysis, XDA patterns and SEM of ettringites and specific properties of some cements tested. The experimental results have borne out that the formation rate of the ettringite formed from the reactive alumina, Al₂O₃^r−, present in pozzolans must be considerably higher than the formation rate of the ettringite from C₃A and much higher than the ettringite from C₄AF, both present in OPC. Owing to this, these ettringites were proposed being named “rapid formation” (ett-rf), “slow formation” (ett-lf) and “very slow formation” (ett-vlf) ettringites, respectively. On the other hand, these experimental results have also shown that the ett-rf has a much smaller size than the ett-lf (this is a direct consequence of the aforementioned conclusion); that almost all the alumina, Al₂O₃, present in M pozzolan must be regarded as being “reactive,” Al₂O₃^r−, or at least, the greatest part; that the detrimental effects derived from gypsum attack are shown much earlier in these POZC than in their plain OPC and, to such an extent, that this aggressive action can be described as rapid gypsum attack; and that none of the 21 POZC tested can be described as high nor moderate sulphate resistant cements according to L-A test.

为探索山丘地区中小型泵站技术改造的经验，选定南康县四个小型泵站作为泵站改造的试点站，进行现场测试，根据测试成果，分析各站存在的问题及效率偏低的原因，并拟定各站技术改造的措施，经实施后取得了较好的效果，本文就南康县泵站改造的实际效果阐明泵站改造的必要性及其改造过程中值得注意的问题。     

Analysis and Optimization Laminar Viscous Flow Through a Channel

Optimizing of laminar viscous flow through a pipe by two dimensionless values is investigated analytically. Dimensionless entropy generation and pumping power to heat transfer rate ratio are used as basis for constant viscous and the temperature dependence on the viscosity. For this matter we calculate entropy generation and pumping power for a fully developed in a pipe subjected to constant wall temperature for either constant viscosity and the variable viscosity. The variation entropy generation increase along the pipe length for viscous fluid is drawn, either the variation summation dimensionless entropy generation and the pumping power to heat transfer rate ratio are varying the fluid inlet temperature for fixed pipe length and are varying pipe length for fixed fluid inlet temperature are drawn. For low heat transfer conditions the entropy generation due to viscosity friction becomes dominant and the dependence of viscosity with the temperature becomes essentially important to be considered.

An analytical model for charge pumping below strong inversion and accumulation

A compact analytical model for charge pumping (CP) is derived. It accounts for emission during the high and low gate bias levels and assumes instantaneous transition edges. This model, which does not apply on the top of the CP curves when using large gate voltage swings, where emission fully proceeds during the transitions edges of the gate signal, applies on all the other regions provided that the transition times of the gate signal are much shorter than the times at steady state biases. Therefore it holds at large bias swings on both edges of Elliot curves and at small bias swings on the whole Elliot curves provided that the interface traps are completely filled [1]. It is compared with the analytical model proposed by Wachnik and Lowney [2] in which emission is not accounted for at all. This model, which holds at Elliot curve maxima when small voltage swings are used, has been shown to be extremely useful for studying interface trap properties [1, 2, 3 and 4]. The CP model proposed primarily, that of Brugler and Jespers [5], is used as a reference. The model derived in this article very satisfactorily fits the experimental curves in the regions of large CP current where it holds. Discrepancies at low current levels are due to the well-known contribution of the transistor source and drain regions or could be due to edge effects. Comparing the different models and the experimental curves allows to evaluate emission and capture during different regions of the gate bias period. The three regions of CP response, depending on the gate voltage swing and involving or not emission and the full filling of the interface traps, are also evidenced.
