We introduce the novel concept of composite barycentric mappings and give theoretical conditions under which they are guaranteed to be bijective. We then focus on mean value mappings and derive a simple procedure for computing their Jacobians, leading to an efficient GPU‐assisted implementation for interactively designing composite mean value mappings which are bijective up to pixel resolution. We provide a number of examples of 2D image deformation and an example of 3D shape deformation based on a natural extension of the concept to spatial mappings.  相似文献

An autonomous entry guidance law is developed based on 3-D analytical glide formulas, where the downrange formula is used to plan the longitudinal reference profile in order to meet the downrange and final energy requirements, and the crossrange formula is used to regulate the bank reversals in order to eliminate the crossrange error. As the analytical glide formulas ignore the effects of the Earth׳s rotation, a series of strategies is proposed for compensating these effects, which provides the guidance with the capability of steering the hypersonic glide vehicle with high Lift to Drag ratio (L/D) to any place of the world accurately. The compensation strategies can be summarized into two parts: (1) the reference profiles are properly adjusted by roughly evaluating the effects of the Earth׳s rotation on the aerodynamic profiles over the whole flight, which can compensate most of the effects; (2) the current effects are accurately evaluated and then the guidance commands are slightly modulated for compensating the remaining effects. Due to careful design, the strategies will not result in drastic changes in the Angle of Attack (AOA) and can keep the bank angle almost constant during most of flight.  相似文献

In this paper, we generalize the windowed Fourier transform to the windowed linear canonical transform by substituting the Fourier transform kernel with the linear canonical transform kernel in the windowed Fourier transform definition. It offers local contents, enjoys high resolution, and eliminates cross terms. Some useful properties of the windowed linear canonical transform are derived. Those include covariance property, orthogonality property and inversion formulas. As applications analogues of the Poisson summation formula, sampling formulas and series expansions are given.  相似文献

While the high‐resistance earth fault frequently occurs on extra high voltage (EHV) transmission lines, existing protection schemes show great limitation for coping with this kind of fault scenario when the fault resistance is very high. In this paper, a novel protection methodology combining the measured impedance of the two ends is introduced, and a so‐called summation impedance protection, making use of this critical information, is thus put forward and assessed. Emphasis is placed on the principle of the summation impedance protection and its adaptive thresholds. A simulation model based on EMTDC/PSCAD, by which the performance of the summation impedance protection is evaluated, is then established. As confirmed by quantitative theoretical and experimental studies, the results indicate that the proposed protection scheme works well even when the fault resistance is extremely high under the internal fault condition, and it keeps itself from maloperation as an effect of its adaptive thresholds wherever an external fault occurs. These results highlight the necessity to work in conjunction with the existing main protections of transmission lines, by which means an enhanced ability to cope with the high‐resistance single‐phase earth fault can be achieved. © 2015 Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan. This work compares three different global sensitivity analysis techniques, namely the state-dependent parameter (SDP) modelling, the random balance designs, and the improved formulas of the Sobol’ sensitivity indices. These techniques are not yet commonly known in the literature. Strengths and weaknesses of each technique in terms of efficiency and computational cost are highlighted, thus enabling the user to choose the more suitable method depending on the computational model analysed. Two test functions proposed in the literature are considered. Computational costs and convergence rates for each function are compared and discussed.  相似文献

The sparkling wine protection against air is of interest for maintaining its sensorial profile and it is achieved through the use of antioxidants while disgorging. Sulfur dioxide (SO2) is commonly added, but its amount should be limited due to human health problems. The suitability of three polyphenols-based commercial formulas containing plant gallic and ellagic acids extracted from grape (Vitis vinifera L.) (AO1), plant ellagic acid and gum arabic (AO2), and plant gallic, ellagic acids and Saccharomyces cerevisiae cell-wall fractions (AO3) was evaluated after 7 months storage (at 15 °C and 25 °C) of disgorged sparkling white wine. The phenolic composition of these formulas was investigated through spectrophotometric measurements. Moreover, the phenols were characterized and quantified by HPLC-MS analyses. The sotolon concentration and the absorbance values at 420 nm were determined in wines. The HPLC-MS analysis showed that the formula AO1 mainly contained gallotannins, ellagic tannins and flavan-3-ols, while AO2 had high levels of flavan-3-ols and gallotannins. Flavan-3-ols were the only phenols found in AO3. The addition of these formulas increased the yellow hue. Sotolon was higher than the perception threshold in the samples with AO2 and at trace amount in the samples with both AO1 and AO3 only stored at 25 °C. The tested antioxidant formulas seemed to be less effective of SO2 for the storage of sparkling white wine. However, the investigation of phenolics in antioxidant formulas could be helpful for the proper choice of a potential substitute of SO2 due to increase interest in sulfur-free wine production.  相似文献

Ionic compounds pose extra challenges with the appropriate modeling of long‐range coulombic interactions. Here, we study the mechanical properties of zinc oxide (ZnO) nanowires using molecular dynamic simulations with Buckingham potential and determine the suitability of the Ewald (Ann. Phys. 1921; 19) and Wolf (J. Chem. Phys. 1999; 110 (17):8254–8282) summation methods to account for the long‐range Coulombic forces. A comparative study shows that both the summation methods are suitable for modeling bulk structures with periodic boundary conditions imposed on all sides; however, significant differences are observed when nanowires with free surfaces are modeled. As opposed to Wolf's prediction of a linear stress–strain response in the elastic regime, Ewald's method predicts an erroneous behavior. This is attributed to the Ewald method's inability to account for surface effects properly. Additionally, Wolf's method offers highly improved computational performance as the model size is increased. This gain in computational time allows for modeling realistic nanowires, which can be directly compared with the existing experimental results. We conclude that the Wolf summation is a superior technique when modeling non‐periodic structures in terms of both accuracy of the results and computational performance.
