We present two integrated network design and inventory control problems in service-parts logistics systems. Such models are complicated due to demand uncertainty and highly nonlinear time-based service level constraints. Exploiting unique properties of the nonlinear constraints, we provide an equivalent linear formulation under part-warehouse service requirements, and an approximate linear formulation under part service requirements. The azuki bean weevil, Callosobruchus chinensis L., is one of the most serious stored product pests in the world. The temperature driven stage-specific development of C. chinensis was examined at eight constant temperatures of 15.97, 18.31, 22.09, 26.15, 30.50, 34.39, 38.00, and 40.00 °C on azuki bean (Vigna angularis [Wild.] Ohwi & Ohashi) and cowpea (Vigna unguiculata L.) seeds. Parameters for stage-specific development such as threshold temperatures and thermal constants were determined by linear and nonlinear models. The total developmental time (egg - adult) decreased with increasing temperature from 14 to 38 °C on both seeds. However, total developmental time varied from 127.93 to 122.25 days at 15.97 °C to 19.31 and 19.17 days at 38.00 °C on azuki bean and cowpea seeds, respectively. The nonlinear Logan-6 and Performance models estimated optimal temperatures as 37.3, 37.0, 36.5 and 37.1 °C on azuki bean, and as 36.7, 36.4, 34.5 and 36.6 °C on cowpea for egg, larva, pupa and egg to adult, respectively. The linear model estimated the lower temperature thresholds (Tmin) of egg, larva, pupa and egg to adult as 16.97, 10.47, 1.36, and 10.28 °C on azuki bean, respectively, and 16.84, 10.33, 10.92, and 9.83 °C on cowpea, respectively. The thermal constants (K) for each stage completion was 35.13, 255.21, 233.11, and 503.41° days (DD) for egg, larva, pupa, and egg to adult on azuki bean, respectively and 32.45, 246.50, 107.04, and 490.02 DD for egg, larva, pupa, and egg to adult on cowpea, respectively. Temperature also influenced the adult longevity. These findings on thermal requirements and temperature thresholds can be used to predict the occurrence, number of generations and population dynamics of C. chinensis. 相似文献

Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG (LGG) performs many physiological functions, but the fermentation time is long when fermented milk is prepared using LGG alone. To shorten the fermentation time, we analyzed the nutrient requirement profiles of LGG. Based on nutrient requirement profiles, we evaluated the effects on the fermentation time, quality, and sensory properties of unmodified cow's milk fermented by LGG alone. According to the consumption and necessary patterns of amino acids and those of purine, pyrimidine, vitamins, metal ions, and nutrients essential to LGG, we selected Cys, Ser, Arg, Pro, Asp, Glu, guanine, uracil, and xanthine with which to supplement milk. Compared with fermented milk prepared using LGG alone in unmodified milk, the fermentation time of supplemented milk was shortened by 5 h. Viable cell counts, titratable acidity, and water-retaining capability of the fermented milk were improved by addition of nutrient supplements. This study aimed to assess the psychological work characteristics and psychological workload of train drivers and to define the psychological and cognitive requirements of their work. A systematic literature search was performed, and expert interviews were conducted. The following work demands were specific to train drivers: high emotional and mental demands, small amount of autonomy and skill discretion. No evidence of a high emotional workload, a high mental workload or short-term stress reactivity was found. In general, the drivers' fatigue complaints and recovery needs after work were comparable to that of other workers. However, severe sleepiness and high need for recovery did affect a substantial proportion of train drivers. The ability to stay aware, to anticipate, to remain attentive and to cope with fatigue are psychological and cognitive skills that are required to adequately and safely perform the train drivers' job. Smart industrial product-service system of systems (SiP-S3) is a new extension of industrial PSS via smart technology and SoS (system of systems) engineering. A framework with revised rough-DEMATEL method is proposed to capture and evaluate requirements for SiP-S3. From the various interactions in value stream mapping of SiP-S3, business, functional and non-functional requirements can be captured and converged into SiP-S3 requirements. Due to the interrelation between requirements of SiP-S3 and uncertainty of expert judgments, rough-DEMATEL is adopted but is revised in two aspects. Generally, SiP-S3 requirement items are plentiful, a set of programming code for rough set approximation is firstly given to reduce manual calculation burden. Moreover, compared to multiple operators of modified-CFCS (converting fuzzy values into crisp scores) plus SVL (single vector-length), a feasible and simpler operator of AVL (average vector-length) on rough-prominence and rough-relation is firstly devised to prioritise requirements. As such, roughness can be remained till at the end of calculation procedure to avoid uncertain assessment information loss.
