The self-acceleration characteristics of a syngas/air mixture turbulent premixed flame were experimentally evaluated using a 10% H2/90% CO/air mixture turbulent premixed flame by varying the turbulence intensity and equivalence ratio at atmospheric pressure and temperature. The propagation characteristics of the turbulent premixed flame including the variation in the flame propagation speed and turbulent burning velocity of the syngas/air mixture turbulent premixed flame were evaluated. In addition, the effect of the self-acceleration characteristics of the turbulent premixed flame was also evaluated. The results show that turbulence gradually changes the radius of the premixed flame from linear growth to nonlinear growth. With the increase of turbulence intensity, the formation of a cellular structure of the flame front accelerated, increasing the flame propagation speed and burning speed. In the transition stage, the acceleration exponent and fractal excess of the turbulent premixed flame decreased with increasing equivalence ratio and increased with increasing turbulence intensity at an equivalence ratio of 0.6. The acceleration exponent was always greater than 1.5.  相似文献

CaCu3-xNixTi4O12 (x?=?0, 0.05, and 0.10) powders were synthesized using a solid state reaction method. Phase structure and microstructure analyses revealed that all sintered CaCu3-xNixTi4O12 ceramics were of a pure phase. The CaCu3Ti4O12 ceramics had a dense microstructure and grain sizes were enlarged by doping with Ni2+. Interestingly, the dielectric permittivity was significantly enhanced, whereas the loss tangent was greatly suppressed to ~0.046–0.034 at 1?kHz. All sintered ceramics exhibited non-Ohmic characteristics. Clarification of the influences of DC bias showed that the dielectric permittivity and loss tangent values were increased by DC bias. The resistance of grain boundaries and the associated conduction activation energy of CaCu3-xNixTi4O12 ceramics were reduced as the DC bias voltage increased. Therefore, the observed non-Ohmic behavior and significantly enhanced dielectric properties should be closely related to variation in the Schottky barriers at the grain boundaries.  相似文献

This paper reports on the experimental validation characteristics of a salient pole synchronous motor with the starting field circuit in contact. The starting characteristics were experimentally evaluated at voltages of 100%, 75%, and 50% using a 1.5 kVA salient pole synchronous motor. The signal for pulling into step was applied to the field circuit by using the control module for all test conditions. The results confirmed the proper pulling into step at 100% of voltage, and the results of the tests at 50% and 75% of voltage revealed that the pulling into step under these conditions becomes stable at the suitable slip condition.  相似文献

A liquid flow standard system is used to calibrate liquid volume of fuel–oil flow meters at small flow rates between 50 L/h and 700 L/h. However, the system has not been used to calibrate volume flow rate because the system is only operated with the standing-start-and-finish mode. In this study, the liquid flow standard system was rebuilt to provide a calibration service of volume flow rate by attaching two flow diverters, which can operate the system with the flying-start-and-finish mode. To evaluate its performance for volume flow metering, several techniques were introduced. First, diverter timing errors were estimated by linear regression. Second, covariance between buoyancy correction factor and water density was obtained to consider interdependency between the two measurands. Third, calibration and measurement capability (CMC) was evaluated by setting a fixed value of collected weight or elapsed time for flow diversion. Finally, several CMCs were compared to find the best measurement condition. As a result of the above approach, the CMC of the liquid flow standard system was found to be (0.10–0.52)% (k = 2) for (50–700) L/h with a minimum collected weight at 10 kg.  相似文献

Ultrasound velocity profiling was applied to viscoelastic flow induced around a moving permeable disk. There were two objectives to this measurement. The first was to find technical advantages and restrictions when applying ultrasonic Doppler velocimetry to a viscoelastic liquid. This issue has not been clarified even though ultrasonic pulses may interact with an elastic medium in the monitoring of the Doppler shift frequency. The second objective was to determine the fluid physics of a viscoelastic liquid around a permeable object, which will help in designing mixing process for materials subject to strong rheological resistance. In this paper, we report a representative response of a viscoelastic liquid in terms of its spatiotemporal velocity distribution. The response highlighted is cyclic lateral waves that form behind the disk, which were hardly detectable by particle image velocimetry. We discuss multiple reasons for this phenomenon considering not only fluid properties but also the measurement principle of ultrasound velocity profiling as applied to viscoelastic liquid.  相似文献

Multiphase flow metering is a major focus for oil and gas industries. The performance of a modified version of a close coupled slotted orifice plate and swirl flow meter for multiphase flow was evaluated to provide further development of a new type of multiphase flow meter. The slotted orifice provides well homogenized flow for several pipe diameters downstream of the plate. This characteristic provides a homogeneous mixture at the inlet of the swirl meter for a wide range of gas volume fractions (GVF) and flow rates. In order to evaluate the performance of the designed flow-meter, its response was investigated for varying pressures and water flow rates. The proper correlations were established to provide high accurate two-phase flow measurements. The new proposed approach provides the GVF measurement with less than ±0.63% uncertainty for GVF range from 60% to 95%.  相似文献

The void fraction is one of the key parameters in the measurement of gas/liquid two-phase flow. It can be derived from the absolute conductivity distribution based on Maxwell׳s theory. With Electrical Resistance Tomography (ERT) technology, the absolute conductivity distribution is obtained by multiplying the relative conductivity image with the reference conductivity which is conventionally the liquid conductivity of a gas/liquid flow. Unfortunately the liquid conductivity is not always available. Therefore, a conductivity fitting method is proposed in this paper, to find an optimal reference conductivity, which will be used in substituting the liquid conductivity to reconstruct the quasi-absolute conductivity image. The optimal reference conductivity fitting method is proposed and validated by simulation and experiments under certain flow regimes, e.g. slug flow, annular flow and bubbly flow. The simulation and experimental results show that, independent from prior-knowledge, the fitted quasi-homogenous conductivity is close to the average conductivity of the sensing field. It also leads to a much more accurate estimation of void fraction than the conventional method using liquid conductivity as the reference. With the proposed method, the ERT technique can play a more significant role in the measurement of multiphase flow (MPF).  相似文献
