Studies for the cognitive model are relatively new in the literature; however there is a growing interest in the communication field nowadays. This paper considers the cognitive model in the communication field as the problem of minimizing a fractional quadratic problem, subject to two or more quadratic constraints in complex field. Although both denominator and numerator in the fractional problem are convex, this problem is not so simple since the quotient of convex functions is not convex in most cases. We first change the fractional problem into a non-fractional one. Second, we consider the semi-definite programming (SDP) method. For the problem with m (m≤2) constraints, we use the SDP relaxation and obtain the exact optimal solution. However, for the problem with m (m>2) constraints, we choose the randomization method to gain an approximation solution in the complex case. At last, we apply this method to practical communications over wireless channels with good results.  相似文献

In engineering, it is computationally prohibitive to directly employ costly models in optimization. Therefore, surrogate-based optimization is developed to replace the accurate models with cheap surrogates during optimization for efficiency. The two key issues of surrogate-based optimization are how to improve the surrogate accuracy by making the most of the available training samples, and how to sequentially augment the training set with certain infill strategy so as to gradually improve the surrogate accuracy and guarantee the convergence to the real global optimum of the accurate model. To address these two issues, a radial basis function neural network (RBFNN) based optimization method is proposed in this paper. First, a linear interpolation (LI) based RBFNN modelling method, LI-RBFNN, is developed, which can enhance the RBFNN accuracy by enforcing the gradient match between the surrogate and the trend observed from the training samples. Second, a hybrid infill strategy is proposed, which uses the surrogate prediction error based surrogate lower bound as the optimization objective to locate the promising region and meanwhile employs a linear interpolation-based sequential sampling approach to improve the surrogate accuracy globally. Finally, extensive tests are investigated and the effectiveness and efficiency of the proposed methods are demonstrated.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with observer‐based H output tracking control for networked control systems. An observer‐based controller is implemented through a communication network to drive the output of a controlled plant to track the output of a reference model. The inputs of the controlled plant and the observer‐based tracking controller are updated in an asynchronous way because of the effects of network‐induced delays and packet dropouts in the controller‐to‐actuator channel. Taking the asynchronous characteristic into consideration, the resulting closed‐loop system is modeled as a system with two interval time‐varying delays. A Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional, which makes use of information about the lower and upper bounds of the interval time‐varying delays, is constructed to derive a delay‐dependent criterion such that the closed‐loop system has a desired H tracking performance. Notice that a separation principle cannot be used to design an observer gain and a control gain due to the asynchronous inputs of the plant and the controller. Instead, a novel design algorithm is proposed by applying a particle swarm optimization technique with the feasibility of the stability criterion to search for the minimum H tracking performance and the corresponding gains. This paper is concerned with the H control problem for a class of systems with bounded random delays and consecutive packet dropouts that exist in both sensor‐to‐controller channel and controller‐to‐actuator channel during data transmission. A new model is developed to describe possible random delays and packet dropouts by two groups of Bernoulli distributed stochastic variables. To avoid the state augmentation, a full‐order observer‐based feedback controller is designed via LMI approach. Based on the Lyapunov theory, a sufficient condition is provided to guarantee the closed‐loop networked system to be asymptotically mean‐square stable and achieve the prescribed H disturbance‐rejection‐attenuation level. This paper addresses the finite horizon H control problem for a class of discrete‐time nonlinear Markov jump systems with multiplicative noise and nonlinear feedback device. The system nonlinearity occurs in a random way specified by a Bernoulli process, whereas the actuator and sensor nonlinearities are restricted to a sector region. Both the state and the dynamic output feedback H controllers are devised in terms of difference LMIs. The proposed approach not only allows the resulting system to achieve a prescribed disturbance attenuation level, but also enables the output of actuator/sensor to meet the designated sector condition. Moreover, it is also shown that our approach is well‐adapted for dealing with the discrete‐time Markov jump systems with saturated actuator and sensor. Finally, a backward iterative algorithm is provided to solve the obtained difference LMIs and a numerical example is presented to verify the efficiency of the theoretical results. This paper investigates robust consensus for multi‐agent systems with discrete‐time dynamics affected by uncertainty. In particular, the paper considers multi‐agent systems with single and double integrators, where the weighted adjacency matrix is a polynomial function of uncertain parameters constrained into a semialgebraic set. Firstly, necessary and sufficient conditions are provided for robust consensus based on the existence of a Lyapunov function polynomially dependent on the uncertainty. In particular, an upper bound on the degree required for achieving necessity is provided. Secondly, a necessary and sufficient condition is provided for robust consensus with single integrator and nonnegative weighted adjacency matrices based on the zeros of a polynomial. Lastly, it is shown how these conditions can be investigated through convex programming by exploiting linear matrix inequalities and sums of squares of polynomials. This paper proposes an improvement to the delay‐dependent stability of discrete systems with time‐varying delays. The approach is based on the observation that the positive definiteness of a chosen Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional does not necessarily require all the involved symmetric matrices to be positive definite, which has been overlooked in the literature. The derived delay‐dependent stability conditions are in terms of linear matrix inequalities. It is theoretically proved that our results are less conservative than the corresponding ones obtained by requiring the positive definiteness of all the symmetric matrices in a chosen Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional. The importance of the present approach is that a great number of delay‐dependent analysis and synthesis results obtained by the aforementioned requirement in the literature can be improved by the present approach without introducing any new decision variables.
