In this short communication, we will show that the condition of the theorem does not hold in general cases in a recent paper “The induced continuous ordered weighted geometric operators and their application in group decision making” [Computers & Industrial Engineering 56 (2009) 1545–1552] by Wu et al., and also illustrate an example to show that we cannot construct a consistent interval multiplicative preference relation according to the condition of theorem in general case. In this paper, robust stability of nonlinear plants represented by non-symmetric Prandtl-Ishlinskii (PI) hysteresis model is studied. In general, PI hysteresis model is the weighted superposition of play or stop hysteresis operators, and the slopes of the operators are considered to be the same. In order to make a hysteresis model, a modified form of non-symmetric play hysteresis operator with unknown slopes is given. The hysteresis model is described by a generalized Lipschitz operator term and a bounded parasitic term. Since the generalized Lipschitz operator is unknown, a new condition using robust right coprime factorization is proposed to guarantee robust stability of the controlled plant with the hysteresis nonlinearity. As a result, based on the proposed robust condition, a stabilized plant is obtained. A numerical example is presented to validate the effectiveness of the proposed method. 相似文献

In this study, an inexact fuzzy-queue programming (IFQP) model is developed for municipal solid waste (MSW) management under uncertainty, where fuzzy queue (FQ) model is introduced into the interval-fuzzy linear programming (IFLP) framework. The proposed IFQP model can not only handle uncertainties that are presented in terms of fuzzy sets and discrete intervals, but also reflect the influence of FQ in decision-making problems. Moreover, it can help quantify the satisfaction degrees of the system cost and constraints under uncertainty. It improves upon the existing optimization model with advantages in data availability, uncertainty reflection and result analysis. In its solution process, the model is transformed into two deterministic submodels based on an interactive algorithm. Interval solutions which are stable in the decision space can be obtained by solving the two submodels sequentially. The developed model is applied to a case of long-term planning of MSW management systems to demonstrate its applicability. It can effectively reflect dynamic, interactive, and uncertain characteristics of municipal waste management systems. The decision variable solutions provide optimal schemes for waste flow allocation corresponding to lower and upper bounds of system cost. The results indicate that reasonable solutions have been generated. They are helpful for supporting: (i) decision making or justification of waste-allocation patterns of MSW management system, and (ii) in-depth analysis of tradeoffs among system cost, satisfaction degree, and environmental constraint under uncertainty. 相似文献

In this paper, a new approach is suggested to investigate stability in a family of fractional order linear time invariant systems with order between 1 and 2. The proposed method relies on finding a linear ordinary system that possesses the same stability property as the fractional order system. In this way, instead of performing the stability analysis on the fractional order systems, the analysis is converted into the domain of ordinary systems which is well established and well understood. In this paper we design an interval observer for the estimation of unmeasured variables of uncertain bioreactors. The observer is based on a bounded error observer, as proposed in [Lemesle, V., & Gouzé, J.-L. (2005). Hybrid bounded error observers for uncertain bioreactor models. Bioprocess and Biosystems Engineering, 27, 311-318], that makes use of a loose approximation of the bacterial kinetics. We first show how to generate guaranteed upper and lower bounds on the state, provided that known intervals for the initial condition and the uncertainties are available. These so-called framers depend on a tuning gain. They can be run in parallel and the envelope provides the best estimate. An optimality criterion is introduced leading to the definition of an optimal observer. We show that this criterion provides directly a gain set containing the best framers. The method is applied to the estimation of the total biomass of an industrial wastewater treatment plant, demonstrating its efficiency. 相似文献

This paper presents a novel learning methodology based on a hybrid algorithm for interval type-2 fuzzy logic systems. Since only the back-propagation method has been proposed in the literature for the tuning of both the antecedent and the consequent parameters of type-2 fuzzy logic systems, a hybrid learning algorithm has been developed. The hybrid method uses a recursive orthogonal least-squares method for tuning the consequent parameters and the back-propagation method for tuning the antecedent parameters. Systems were tested for three types of inputs: (a) interval singleton, (b) interval type-1 non-singleton, and (c) interval type-2 non-singleton. Experiments were carried out on the application of hybrid interval type-2 fuzzy logic systems for prediction of the scale breaker entry temperature in a real hot strip mill for three different types of coil. The results proved the feasibility of the systems developed here for scale breaker entry temperature prediction. Comparison with type-1 fuzzy logic systems shows that hybrid learning interval type-2 fuzzy logic systems provide improved performance under the conditions tested. 相似文献

In this work, point-wise discretization error is bounded via interval approach for the elasticity problem using interval boundary element formulation. The formulation allows for computation of the worst case bounds on the boundary values for the elasticity problem. From these bounds the worst case bounds on the true solution at any point in the domain of the system can be computed. Scale free graphs have attracted attention by their non-uniform structure that can be used as a model for various social and physical networks. In this paper, we propose a natural and simple random model for generating scale free interval graphs. The model generates a set of intervals randomly under a certain distribution, which defines a random interval graph. The main advantage of the model is its simpleness. The structure/properties of generated graphs are analyzable by relatively simple probabilistic and/or combinatorial arguments, which is different from many other models. Based on such arguments, we show for our random interval graph that its degree distribution follows a power law, and that it has a large average clustering coefficient. 相似文献
