Proposal for a benchmark model of a laminated iron core and a large‐scale and highly accurate magnetic analysis

This paper describes a benchmark model proposed for the clarification of the characteristic of various methods for modeling the laminated iron core. In order to obtain a reference solution of the benchmark model, a large‐scale nonlinear magnetostatic field analysis with a mesh fine enough to represent the microscopic structure of the laminated iron core is carried out by using the hybrid finite element–boundary element (FE‐BE) method combined with the fast multipole method (FMM) based on diagonal forms for translation operators. The computational costs and accuracy of two kinds of homogenization methods are discussed, comparing them with the reference solution. As a consequence, it is verified that the homogenization methods can analyze magnetic fields in laminated iron core within acceptable computational costs. © 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. A new method for estimating initial rotor phase of self‐excited hybrid‐field synchronous motors

This paper proposes a new method for properly estimating the rotor initial phase (i.e., the position) of the newly emerging self‐excited hybrid‐field synchronous motors (SelE‐HFSMs), which have the rotor held by both a permanent magnet and a diode‐shorted held winding. The proposed method injects a spatially rotating high‐frequency voltage and detects the rotor phase directly by evaluating the norm of the associated current. 某型无人靶机飞行航路规划设计及领航

通过对某型无人靶机的飞行特性进行分析，研究靶机自主导航设计原理，对该型靶机的飞行航路和自主导航装订航线进行规划设计；结合多次供靶实际，研究分析该型靶机空中易出现的特殊情况，并提出可行的处置措施。     

Feasibility assessment of Anchor-Business-Community model for off-grid rural electrification in India

The concept of “micro-grids” as self-sustained power systems is driven largely by business models, which have to be developed by considering the perspectives of all the stakeholders. This study tests the feasibility of the Anchor-Business-Community model of off-grid electrification in a cluster of two Hamlets in Uttar Pradesh, from the perspective of a Renewable Energy Service Company. Telecom towers, Flour Mills and rural communities have been considered as the Anchor, Business and community customers respectively. Primary surveys have been carried out to assess socio-economic characteristics, renewable energy resource availability and energy demand. Cost savings has been assumed to be the primary incentive for the customers to switch to clean energy. Cash flow analysis has been done to estimate the level of profitability of the project with and without the current level of subsidy. Solar Photovoltaic systems, Biomass gasification systems and Solar-Biomass hybrid systems have been modelled using HOMER. The model for Solar PV system with subsidy was found to be the most robust out of all three models in the scenario analysis. Solar-Biomass hybrid systems and Biomass Standalone systems are found to have the potential to offer a healthy level of returns under the best case and most likely scenarios.     

BiFeO3 films on steel substrate by the citrate method

We deposited BiFeO₃ films on stainless steel substrates using a simple low-temperature wet-chemical route. Bismuth and iron nitrates were used as metal source and citric acid as chelating agent to prepare a water solution and deposit the film by dipping the steel substrate in the viscous solution. We have investigated the composition, crystallinity and structure of the BiFeO₃ film on steel by X-ray diffraction, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, high resolution scanning electron microscopy, conventional and high resolution transmission electron microscopy, and energy dispersive spectroscopy techniques. The film deposited on the steel substrate has two sublayers: a very thin (about 100 nm) nanocrystalline layer, with crystallite size of few nanometers, and a thicker (below 1 μm) crystalline layer.

一个用于电力系统暂态安全分析的混合系统的初步设计

本文提出了一个用于电力系统暂态安全分析的混合系统结构。该系统将相互协调的算法，即：基于简单模型的快速扩展等面积准则算法和基于复杂模型的数值积分法，与基于知识的揄有机地结合起来，建立了分层知识库及其相应的推理机。低层次的子系统用于解决不同的领域任务，而包含元知识的高层次系统则起着协调作用；同时利用误差和可信度来反映描述性知识和过程性知识的不精确性和不确定性。该混合系统为我们提供了一个较实际的规划决策支持系统，类似于人类专家求解问题的模式，可用于离线暂态安全分析。
