C程序设计多媒体教学探讨

针对目前C语言教学中广泛存在的学时少与信息量大的矛盾。分析了传统教学手段与多媒体教学手段的利与弊,提出了以传统教学手段为主。多媒体教学手段为辅的授课方法,以提高教学质量。     

时滞依赖不确定线性系统的鲁棒H_∞控制

针对一类不确定性不满足匹配条件的具有时滞依赖不确定线性系统,研究了鲁棒H∞控制器的设计问题.基于线性矩阵不等式方法,通过构造合适的Lyapunov函数,给出了鲁棒H∞状态反馈控制器存在的充分条件,并通过求解相应的线性矩阵不等式完成了控制器的设计.仿真结果表明,所设计的控制器对所有容许的不确定性不仅使闭环系统渐近稳定,又能保证闭环系统满足一定的H∞性能指标,具有较好的抑制扰动的效果.     

Adaptive integral method combined with the loose GMRES algorithm for planar structures analysis

In this article, the adaptive integral method (AIM) is used to analyze large‐scale planar structures. Discretization of the corresponding integral equations by method of moment (MoM) with Rao‐Wilton‐Glisson (RWG) basis functions can model arbitrarily shaped planar structures, but usually leads to a fully populated matrix. AIM could map these basis functions onto a rectangular grid, where the Toeplitz property of the Green's function would be utilized, which enables the calculation of the matrix‐vector multiplication by use of the fast Fourier transform (FFT) technique. It reduces the memory requirement from O(N²) to O(N) and the operation complexity from O(N²) to O(N log N), where N is the number of unknowns. The resultant equations are then solved by the loose generalized minimal residual method (LGMRES) to accelerate iteration, which converges much faster than the conventional conjugate gradient method (CG). Furthermore, several preconditioning techniques are employed to enhance the computational efficiency of the LGMRES. Some typical microstrip circuits and microstrip antenna array are analyzed and numerical results show that the preconditioned LGMRES can converge much faster than conventional LGMRES. © 2008 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Supporting the creative drive: investigating paralinguistic voice as a mode of interaction for artists with upper limb disabilities

For people with upper limb disabilities visual art is an important activity that allows for expression of individuality and independence. They show remarkable endurance, patience and determination to adapt their remaining capabilities to create visual art. There are significant advantages of digital technologies in assisting artists with upper limb disabilities. Paralinguistic voice recognition technologies have proven to be a particularly promising mode of interaction. Despite these benefits, technological support for people with upper limb disabilities to create visual art is scarce. This paper reports on a number of case studies of several artists with upper limb disabilities. These case studies illustrate the struggles they face to be creative and also show the significant advantages of digital technologies in assisting such artists. An investigation into people’s ability to use the volume of their voice to control cursor movement to create drawings on the screen is also reported. With motivation, training and practise, use of volume to control drawing tasks shows great promise. It is believed that paralinguistic voice has wider implications beyond assisting artists with upper limb disabilities, such as: an alternative mode of interaction for disabled people to perform tasks other than creating visual art, alternative mode of interaction for hands busy environments and as a voice training system for people with speech impairments.

A combinatorial intra-enterprise exchange for logistics services

The exchange of cargo capacities is a well established approach in logistics. However, only few logistics marketplaces are able to take into consideration synergies that can be generated by combining different transportation routes of different logistics carrierps. In order to exploit these synergies, we designed and implemented the combinatorial exchange mechanism ComEx for the intra-enterprise exchange of delivery orders in a logistics company organized in a profit center structure. Each profit center is able to release delivery orders to an adjacent profit center if the geographic locations of the customers allow for a reduced-cost delivery by the adjacent profit center. We demonstrate that by using the ComEx mechanism, the total cost of transportation of our logistics company can be reduced by up to 14%. Since our iterative auction mechanism is very complex and therefore resource-intensive, we reduce the complexity by applying a convex hull approach combined with a distance-based cost estimator.

肢体残疾人使用板式家具的设计实践

在日常生活中,肢体残障人士因其身体的种种不便,经常需要别人帮助。开发为残疾人设计的板式家具是让残疾人以最大限度地"自己完成"为设计目标,最大可能地帮助残疾人自己料理生活,提高生活质量。尽量减少照料人员时间和精力,同时还会增加残疾人的自信心,拓展其私人的生活空间。     

Construction of human monoclonal single-chain Fv antibodies against small-cell lung cancer by phage display libraries derived from cell-immunized SCID mice engrafted with human peripheral blood lymphocytes

In this study, we describe a phage display strategy to obtain human monoclonal single-chain Fv (scFv) antibodies binding target cancer cell surface proteins. By developing a cancer cell immunization protocol for SCID mice engrafted with human peripheral blood lymphocytes in combination with an antibody phage display method, we have isolated phage antibodies binding small-cell lung cancer cell line H889 by subtractive selection. One of the isolated scFv antibodies, 12EAb, recognized the E2 component of pyruvate dehydrogenase complex (PDC-E2) by immunoprecipitation according to MALDI-TOF MS analysis. Furthermore, we have confirmed the plasma membrane localization of PDC-E2 in small-cell lung cancer cells by immunocytochemistry and cell surface protein biotinylation, although PDC-E2 is usually located in the mitochondrial matrix. These results, including unique localization of identified antigens, were obtained by proteomic approaches. The present methods can be applied to generate human monoclonal scFv antibodies against tumor cells and to identify new molecular targets for immunotherapy and markers for diagnosis.     

Isoform-specific expression and characterization of 14-3-3 proteins in human glioma tissues discovered by stable isotope labeling with amino acids in cell culture-based proteomic analysis

Human 14-3-3 proteins have isoform-specific expression and functions in different kinds of normal or tumor cells and tissues. However, the expression profiling of 14-3-3 proteins and isoform-specific biological functions are unclear in human glioma so far. In our study, the expression levels and characterization of 14-3-3 isoforms in human glioma tissues were investigated by a sensitive, accurate stable isotope labeling with amino acids in cell culture-based quantitative proteomic strategy. As a result, except unexpressed 14-3-3σ, the other six isoforms, with different expression levels, were existed in glioma tissues and para-cancerous brain tissues (PBTs). 14-3-3β and η were upregulated, whereas 14-3-3ζ was downregulated in glioma tissues compared with that in PBTs. And the other three isoforms 14-3-3ε, θ, and γ had similar expression levels in human glioma tissues and PBTs. Western blot and immunohistochemistry analysis were both consistent with the quantitative proteomic data. The loss of expression of 14-3-3σ was further discovered due to DNA high methylation in its coding region in glioma by methylation-specific PCR analysis. These results indicated that the four isoforms, including 14-3-3β, η, ζ, and σ, may play important roles in tumorigenesis of human glioma, which is probably used as potential biomarkers for diagnosis and targets for treatment of human gliomas in future.
