The present problem is concerned with the study of the deformation of a thermoelastic micropolar solid possessing cubic symmetry
under the influence of various sources acting on the plane surface. The analytic expressions of displacement components, microrotation,
force stress, couple stress, and temperature distribution are obtained in the physical domain for the Green and Nagdhi (G–N)
theory of thermoelasticity by applying the integral transforms. A numerical inversion technique has been applied to obtain

Strong evidence for d-wave pairing symmetry in high-temperature superconductors such as YBa2Cu3O7 and Tl2Ba2CuO6+δ has been obtained by monitoring the presence or absence of the half-integer flux quantum effect in various controlled—orientation tricrystal superconducting systems. The phase diagram of the Yb–Ge system was investigated over the whole compositional range by means of differential thermal analysis (DTA), X-ray diffraction (XRD), optical microscopy (LOM) and electron probe microanalysis (EMPA). Besides the already known intermediate phases Yb2Ge (PbCl2-type), Yb5Ge3 (Mn5Si3-type), Yb11Ge10 (Ho11Ge10-type) and Yb3Ge5 (Th3Pd5-type), two new compounds have been found: Yb5Ge4 (Sm5Ge4-type) and Yb3Ge8, which crystallize with a new triclinic structure type. All the compounds formed in the system have been completely structurally characterized by single crystal determinations. 相似文献

The experimental portion of this paper deals with the use of Intention Imprinted Electrical Devices (IIED’s) to significantly
alter the measured properties of both inanimate and animate materials. The target materials selected for this study were (1)
water, (2) the liver enzyme, alkaline phosphatase (ALP), (3) the main cell energy storage molecule, ATP, and (4) living fruit
fly larvae. By comparing the separate influence of two physically identical devices, one unimprinted and the other imprinted
via a unique meditative process, a robust influence of human consciousness on these four materials has been demonstrated.
Furthermore, the IIED’s are shown to produce a ”conditioned” space where oscillations in material properties occur. The theoretical
portion provides a speculative, but internally self-consistent, quantitative model for explaining this anomalous data. The
model requires an expansion of our conventional thermodynamic perspective to embrace the consequences of physics gauge symmetry
changes in nature associated with significant inputs from human consciousness.

We present a short review of how the effective action formalism, well known in relativistic quantum field theory, can be used to discuss Bose-Einstein condensation of non-relativistic gases. This method lends itself very naturally to an interpretation of Bose-Einstein condensation in terms of symmetry breaking. It also allows for the definition of a very elegant regularization technique involving generalized ζ-functions. We show how this method can be used to recover the well known results for the free boson gas, as well as the charged boson gas in a constant magnetic field. A general criterion for interpreting Bose-Einstein condensation in terms of a phase transition with symmetry breaking is given. Finally we present an analysis of Bose-Einstein condensation in a harmonic oscillator confining potential trap, and show how the results of this simple model are in excellent agreement with experiment. 相似文献

基于大型覆盖件成形的基础试验研究 ,在大量非回转对称拉深试验和对矩形盒拉深中特定部位进行应力应变解析的基础上 ,分析了板坯形状对非回转对称拉深成形性和成形极限的影响。指出使用矩形切角板坯可在一定程度上缓解非拉深变形并降低成形载荷 ,从而相应地提高拉深成形性和成形极限。 相似文献
