Modeling language acquisition in atypical phenotypes.

An increasing number of connectionist models have been proposed to explain behavioral deficits in developmental disorders. These simulations motivate serious consideration of the theoretical implications of the claim that a developmental disorder fits within the parameter space of a particular computational model of normal development. The authors examine these issues in depth with respect to a series of new simulations investigating past-tense formation in Williams syndrome. This syndrome and the past-tense domain are highly relevant because both have been used to make strong theoretical claims about the processes underlying normal language acquisition. The authors conclude that computational models have great potential to advance psychologists' understanding of developmental deficits because they focus on the developmental process itself as a pivotal causal factor in producing atypical phenotypic outcomes. 地层的高频吸收衰减效应是导致地震勘探分辨率不高的主要原因，在高分辨率野外地震数据系统中，频谱均衡滤波器所设置的重要部件。文章以频谱均衡滤波器的原理和地层吸收衰减特性为基础，用计算机模拟的方法研究地层吸收衰减使分辨率降低的程度和频谱均衡滤波器对分辨率的补偿效果，给出了较好的频谱均衡滤波器的设计方案。     

基于运动矢量的视频图象数字水印算法

数字水印技术是近年发展起来的一种用于数字产品版权保护和真伪性论证的新兴技术。与静止图象相比，视频水印技术要满足盲检的要求。本文根据运动矢量的特征值ρl，提出了一种视频图象水印新算法。实验结果表明，所提出的水印算法简单、快速，能满足视频编码的实时性要求；算法与现有的视频压缩标准有很好的兼容性；水印的提取具有盲检功能，无需原图象；水印的嵌入不影响I帧的图象质量，与嵌入水印前的原压缩图象相比，嵌入水印后的视频图象信噪比损失很小。     

ATM网VBR编码会议电视业务模型的研究

文章研究了ATM网中VBR编码的会议电视业务的模型，提出一阶自回归、瑞利分布残差而不是高斯分布的AR序列模型──RAR（1），实验表明，该模型能产生足够多的大信元帧数，这对于研究信元丢失率特性具有至关重要的影响，而且简单实用。此外，RAR（1）模型在较少（16个）和较多（128个）VBR信源统计复用时，能很好地拟合实际的会议电视业务的统计数据。

DIDS: rapidly prototyping configuration design systems

The domain independent design system (DIDS) provides a set of tools for rapidly constructing new configuration design systems from a library of reusable software elements called mechanisms. A DIDS user begins by creating a model of the problem domain and the task to be automated. This includes describing a library of parts from which new artifacts could be configured, optimization and preference criteria, and functionality constraints. DIDS analyzes this input and automatically builds an operational prototype system by selecting and combining mechanisms. DIDS' ability to automate this process is derived from its model of configuration design, which enables reusable mechanisms to be identified and automatically selected based on a problem's characteristics. The use of DIDS is illustrated by showing how DIDS solved an elevator-configuration problem.

Electronic data acquisition forms in construction management

Effective management of construction projects depends on good access to and control of data, especially data pertaining to cost and schedule control functions. However, the proper design and development of automated mechanisms have not had the facility to acquire and store quality data in a timely manner. The purpose of this paper, then, is to discuss a prototype, automated data acquisition system that was developed to support an integrated project management system. The data acquisition system is composed of an integrated set of electronic forms used in conjunction with a bar coding data-entry tool.     

基于多信道预约可冲突避免的多址接入协议

本文为多跳分布多无线网络提出了一套灵活而有效的自适应获取冲突避免（AACA）的多址接入协议。在该协议中，各节点竞争公共信道，利用RTS/CTS对话形式来预约各业务信道，成功预约后的分组传输不会受到其他节点的干扰。它使用任意确定数目信道，以异步方式工作，并且使得各节点利用半双工无线电台就可以灵活、简便地实现资源预约。分析和比较结果说明，所提出的多信道预约协议可以有效地解决隐藏终端、暴露终端以及侵入终端的问题。
