数控机床铣削等距型面轴的理论研究

提出了在数控机床上铣削等距型面轴的新方法。通过建立和分析等距曲面及其加工中有关问题的数学模型，得到了数控铣削等距型面轴时确定自适应步长的算法以及行距、残留高度等重要理论问题的计算公式，为等距型面轴数控加工的实验研究奠定了理论基础。     

单道自动对接焊应变应力场分析

通过给出模拟单道自动对接焊过程的数学模型，用有元法计算瞬时应变场和应力场并与实测值进行比较，结果证实计算值与实测值基本吻合，表明用数学模拟自动对接焊过程是可行的。

Application of a time-dependent constitutive model to rheocast systems

A mathematical model has been developed to describe the velocity field in an agitated Al- 5Cu alloy in which B4C particles were suspended at different loading rates of up to 40 %. The material system was agitated by means of an electromagnetic rotary stirrer. The non- Newtonian behavior of the melt/solid slurry was allowed for using two models: the steady- state model of Joly and Flemings and the model of Brown, which takes account of time- dependent behavior. Calculations have shown that the two models behave similarly at high shear rates. In addition, if agitation was discontinued, very little time was required for the velocity (and hence the fluidity) of the slurry to decay.     

新型硬齿面环面蜗杆传动研究

采用精确磨削TI蜗杆的砂轮，用类似直廓环面蜗杆或平面包络环面蜗杆的磨削方法加工环面蜗杆，使该蜗杆和齿面形状与砂轮曲面相同的蜗轮相配合，形成一种新型蜗杆传动，给出了这种传动蜗杆副齿面的数学模型，并通过计算机仿真得出了这种传动蜗轮齿面上接触线的形状及分布特征，初步分析了其啮合特点。     

Metallochemical Analysis of the Reaction in a Mixture of Nickel and Aluminum Powders

Phaseformation processes are considered at the level of a mesocell of a mixture with the use of the state diagram for a binary system. Consecutive schemes of metallochemical reactions of formation and decomposition of intermetallide compounds in a mixture of nickel and aluminum powders are suggested. The problem of diffusion annealing of this mixture is numerically solved for two different conditions: at a constant temperature and at a temperature slowly increasing by a linear law.     

Analysis of the Thermal Explosion in Systems Porous Reagent–Active Gas–Solid Product

The specific features of dynamics of the thermal explosion in systems porous reagent–active gas–solid product under conditions where the heattransfer and masstransfer regions are separated from the ambient medium are considered. In addition to the competition of heat release and heat removal, the process of initiation of exothermal chemical interaction in these systems under normal pressures depends significantly on conditions of filtration transport of the gaseous reagent. The induction and postinduction periods of the thermal explosion are studied. The theoretical analysis of thermalexplosion issues is supplemented by an experimental study of the process for the porous titanium–nitrogen–titanium nitride system.     

A mathematical model for predicting the soil nitrogen status under varying fertilizer practices in a continuous cropping sequence

A mathematical model has been proposed for predicting the changes in soil nitrogen status due to continuous fertilization in a continuous cropping sequence. The model also enabled the prediction of the steady state of soil nitrogen for a specified fertilizer practice.The model was applied to six years nitrogen availability data of four fertilizer practices in finger millet-maize-cowpea sequence followed in the Long Term Fertilizer Experiments conducted at Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore, India. The agreement between the predicted soil nitrogen status by the model and the actuals was proved by employing reliability index.
