The effect of functional monomer chain spacer length on the bond strength of an experimental dental adhesive

The study evaluated the effect of the carbon-chain spacer of monomers on the bonding effectiveness of two-step self-etching adhesive systems (SES). We investigated three acrylamidophosphonic acid monomers which vary only by the length of the carbon chain, 2-(N-methylmethacrylamido)ethylphosphonic acid, 6-(N-methylmethacrylamido)hexylphosphonic acid and 10-(N-methylmethacrylamido)decylphosphonic acid, on their effect in bonding performance while formulated in a self-etching primer with dentin and enamel. The results correlated well with those obtained from Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM).It is concluded that there are no significant differences in terms of immediate Shear Bond Strength (SBS) on either enamel or dentin by using experimental self-etching primer (SEP) of different spacer chain length.     

重金属捕集剂WY5处理综合铜、镍废水的研究

制备了重金属捕集剂WY5并用于广东某线路板厂综合废水的处理研究,从投药量与铜、镍的去除效果的关系等方面进行了研究,探讨了WY5去除铜、镍的机理.研究发现用WY5处理该类废水,无需调节pH,操作简单,可使出水的铜、镍达到国家排放标准.实际生产中可以直接利用WY5进行废水处理,也可与传统的方法结合应用.     

丁草胺及其混配剂防除稻田杂草的试验

报道了以水为分散介质的丁草胺及其混配剂防涂稻田杂草的效果。混配剂有丁恶（丁草胺·恶草灵）水乳剂、丁滴（丁草胺·２－Ｄ丁酯）水乳剂、丁果（丁草胺·草尔）水乳剂、丁扑（丁草胺·扑草净）悬浮乳剂、丁二扑（丁草胺·２,４－Ｄ丁酯·扑草净）悬浮乳剂、丁苄（丁草胺·苄嘧黄隆）悬浮乳剂及丁吡组织（丁草胺·吡嘧黄隆）悬浮乳剂。并从剂型的稳定性、除草效果及对水稻的安全性等方面综合评介各混配剂。     

基于XML的异构数据源集成与交换的实现

异构的数据源是大部分大型应用系统所面临的问题,数据库技术在很大程度上还需要依靠内容管理、商业智能、信息集成以及相应的工具等技术做支撑,以对不同平台上的信息进行实时管理。研究了以XML作为中间数据格式,用于完成多个独立的异构系统之间的数据集成和数据交换,并通过一个应用系统实例阐述了XML与DOM技术相结合进行异构数据源之间信息交换的具体实现方法。

对方形钢管混凝土钢管壁局部屈曲行为进行弹性分析,推导钢管壁发生局部屈曲时的屈曲系数、屈曲半波长及临界屈曲应力表达式,并与局部屈曲试验研究成果进行比较,提出更为合理的计算公式,为后续的进一步研究打下基础.

Mechanical properties of textured,multilayered alumina produced using electrophoretic deposition in a strong magnetic field

The mechanical properties of ceramics materials can be tailored by designing their microstructures. It had generally been difficult to utilize a magnetic field for controlling the texture of diamagnetic ceramics because of their extremely small susceptibility; however, the possibility of controlling the texture by a magnetic field occurred with the development of superconducting magnets. We demonstrate in this study that alumina/alumina laminar composites with alternate crystalline-oriented layers are produced by electrophoretic deposition in a strong magnetic field and that the bending strength of the laminar composite depended on the direction of the multilayered microstructure.

Melatonin Effects on Hard Tissues: Bone and Tooth

Melatonin is an endogenous hormone rhythmically produced in the pineal gland under the control of the suprachiasmatic nucleus (SCN) and the light/dark cycle. This indole plays an important role in many physiological processes including circadian entrainment, blood pressure regulation, seasonal reproduction, ovarian physiology, immune function, etc. Recently, the investigation and applications of melatonin in the hard tissues bone and tooth have received great attention. Melatonin has been investigated relative to bone remolding, osteoporosis, osseointegration of dental implants and dentine formation. In the present review, we discuss the large body of published evidence and review data of melatonin effects on hard tissues, specifically, bone and tooth.
