新型大跨度空冷器钢结构构架设计与应用

空冷器钢结构构架设计突破了常规两跨三柱支撑的构架形式,采用大跨度构架支撑结构,以满足工艺、设备、土建等专业的需要.受力杆件采用H型钢,较常规构架形式采用的工字钢、双角钢有着更加合理的力学截面特性及塑性变形能力,使结构在超过设计荷载的极端情况下(如台风、罕遇地震)保留一定的安全储备,设计采用钢结构软件STS,首先按平面框架形式建立结构受力模型,进行杆件的内力计算,并根据计算结果优化杆件截面;同时,建立整体空间模型对构架和底部平台进行整体抗震验算,以保证构架和底部平台地震作用下满足承载力要求.并在中国石化镇海炼化新建Ⅱ套加氢裂化装置中得到了成功应用

高可靠性交流不间断供电系统

为提高供电系统的工作可靠性，介绍了一种具有高可靠性的交流不问断供电系统的设计方法。该系统是由UPS（uninterrupted power supply）并联模块、电子切换开关、电子稳压器等组成。UPS的并联运行是提高电源系统运行可靠性和扩大供电容量的重要手段。由交流稳压器作为UPS的后备电源，提高了系统的可靠性。电子开关保证系统的在线零切换，真正做到对负载供电的不问断。组成系统的模块都可以进行在线维修和更换，可以提高系统的MTBF（mean time between failures），进一步提高系统的可靠性。

Strategic maintenance-management in Nigerian industries

A developing society needs to adapt to change and foster creativity. In the pursuit of continual improvement (e.g., reducing fossil-fuel consumption and waste, better service performance, greater availability and improved reliability), implementing wise maintenance-schedules is essential for contemporary organisations. Several studies of a wide range of Nigerian industries indicate that indigenous low availability and low productivity are endemic. The resulting closure of some of these industries has triggered off a realisation of the strategic challenges in maintenance management. In addition, the increasingly-competitive business environment in Nigeria has raised the strategic importance of maintenance functions, especially in organisations with significant investments in physical assets. Five strategic aspects of maintenance management have been identified, namely: maintenance methodology; support processes; organisation and work structuring; comparable culture; and general management policy. Three factors that permeate these dimensions are wise leadership, excellent communications and an understanding of the human factors involved.     

A DNA method for qualitative identification of plant raw materials in feedstuff

This research developed a simple and not expensive DNA method for the qualitative identification of plant raw materials used as feed mixtures. Specific simple sequence tagged (STS) markers were developed to detect faba bean (Lectin A gene), field pea (Convicilin A gene), grain sorghum (UDP-glucosyltransferase gene) and barley (Hordoindoline-a gene), whereas identification of durum and common wheat (lipid transfer protein gene), soybean (Gly m Bd 30K allergen gene) and maize (invertase gene) was carried out using markers available from the literature. Cross-reactivity of the primer pairs was also checked against oat, rye, kidney bean and lentil. The method was effectively applied to the analysis of flour mixtures and extruded feedstuff. It could be included in traceability and certification of animal feeding systems within high quality animal production chains which are strictly related to the production area by the valorisation of locally grown raw materials.

Electronic structure of Co islands grown on the √3 × √3-Ag/Ge(111) surface

By means of room temperature scanning tunneling spectroscopy (RT STS), we have studied the electronic structure of two different Ag/Ge(111) phases as well as Co islands grown on the √3 × √3-Ag/Ge (111) forming either √13 × √13 or 2 × 2 patterns. The spectrum obtained from 4 × 4-Ag/Ge(111) structure shows the existence of a shoulder at 0.7 V which is also present in the electronic structure of the Ge(111)-c2 × 8 and indicates donation of Ge electrons to electronic states of the Ag-driven phase. However, this fact is not supported by the electronic spectrum taken from the √3 × √3-Ag/Ge (111). The complexity of the Co-√13 × √13 islands bonding with the substrate is mirrored by a large number of peaks in their electronic spectra. The spectra obtained from the Co-2 × 2 islands which had grown on the step differ from those taken from Co-2 × 2 islands located along the edge of the terrace by a number of peaks at negative sample bias. This discrepancy is elucidated in terms of dissimilarities of Co-substrate interaction accompanying Co islands growth on different areas of the stepped surface.     

Study of 4Hb-TaS2 and graphite intercalation compound by STM/STS

Investigations of charge-density waves (CDW) in 4Hb-TaS₂ and the shifted Fermi level in a CoCl₂ graphite intercalation compound (GIC) were performed by scanning tunnelling microscopy (STM) and scanning tunnelling spectroscopy (STS) A discrimination of the surface electronic structure of the octahedral structure and of the trigonal-prismatic structure in 4Hb-TaS₂ was made successfully in terms of the electronic properties. The measured value of the charge-density-wave gap in 4Hb-TaS₂ at room temperature was about 85 meV. The shifted Fermi level in CoCl₂-GIC was measured to be about 400 meV.
