《失乐园》以《创世纪》中人类堕落故事为核心情节,它和《圣经》的关联不言自明,同时两个文本之间的差异也显而易见。本文从弥尔顿的神学思想、《失乐园》对《圣经》的神义论解读以及《失乐园》与《圣经》的叙事结构三个方面,对《失乐园》创作与《圣经》相关文本的关系作初步的探索,并得出结论:作为《圣经》叙事的复叙事,《失乐园》不是对后者的简单重复,而是在传统外壳之下的变革甚至颠覆,体现了时代和观念的巨大转变。  相似文献

目的探讨传统造物原型设计中的良善文化基因。方法从大小传统文化原型样态中求证传统中国普遍存在的伦理视觉,在"仁礼"结构中孕育的可视化良善图景可以作为文化视觉承载着社会前进的动力。以实例进行比较分析,阐扬文明基因中良善设计所起的"明教化、正人伦"的社会映射,说明包装设计作为生活必备物在精神与物质传播中的中介作用。结论华夏文明的智慧在于道德伦理的凡俗生活物质转化,良善图景内蕴的个体信仰与国家精神正是当代包装设计继承的价值和设计创造的意义。  相似文献

This article proposes the Poetics of Mosaic Narrative as a tool for telling dramatically compelling interactive new media stories. In doing so it validates the crucial elements of cinematic storytelling in the digital medium, which due to its fragmentary, variable and re-combinatory nature, affords the opportunity for audience interaction. In particular it focuses on the theory and practice of the prominent new media theorist, Lev Manovich, as a means of investigating and creating a practical poetics. The key element of the Poetics of Mosaic Narrative is the expansion of the previously forgotten and undeveloped Russian formalist concept of cinematurgy. This concept, as originally proposed but not elaborated by Kazansky, encompasses the notion of the creation of cinematic new media narrative as a mosaic—integrally driven by the narrative systems of plot, as well as the cinematic systems of visual style created by the techniques of cinema—montage, cinematography and mise-en-scene.  相似文献

Remembering Bogle Chandler is a digital narrative that incorporates photos, line drawings, text and sound playable using a graphical user interface (GUI). The work describes the characters and events surrounding the mysterious deaths of Gilbert Bogle and Margaret Chandler in Sydney on New Year's Day 1963. Users can retrieve and play 104 movie clips (photographic images, animations, text and sound) from the project's digital library. The GUI is both an image illustrating connections between movie clips and an instrument for controlling them.

Remembering Bogle Chandler tells an old story in a new way. In order to explore the novel qualities of the work, this article employs terminology and concepts from three essentialist theories of digital media that define the ways in which digital media differ from old or legacy media. To assess the impact of these properties on storytelling, the article also explores audience responses to the work.  相似文献

This paper is centred on research in the development of a mobile media and art project. Datascape is a geographic storytelling and visualisation platform that supports the telling of locative narratives by artists, researchers, educators and community groups. In this paper, the guiding principles of the project are discussed in relation to the theme of the conference, ‘After Media’.1 This is an edited version of the paper that was presented at the Digital Arts and Culture conference 2009, the theme of which was ‘After Media.’ The suggestion is that we think of this term not as a time beyond the demise of some particular media, but instead consider the term after-media as an approach where the goals of a new medium are made explicit in relation to its historical foundations and practices. The goals and trajectories of the Datascape project are discussed within the scope of mobile and locative media.  相似文献

Four experiments explored whether 2 uniquely human characteristics—counterfactual thinking (imagining alternatives to the past) and the fundamental drive to create meaning in life—are causally related. Rather than implying a random quality to life, the authors hypothesized and found that counterfactual thinking heightens the meaningfulness of key life experiences. Reflecting on alternative pathways to pivotal turning points even produced greater meaning than directly reflecting on the meaning of the event itself. Fate perceptions (“it was meant to be”) and benefit-finding (recognition of positive consequences) were identified as independent causal links between counterfactual thinking and the construction of meaning. Through counterfactual reflection, the upsides to reality are identified, a belief in fate emerges, and ultimately more meaning is derived from important life events.
