This paper presents a novel heuristic optimization approach to constrained economic load dispatch (ELD) problems using the adaptive–variable population – PSO technique. The proposed methodology easily takes care of different constraints like transmission losses, dynamic operation constraints (ramp rate limits) and prohibited operating zones and also accounts for non-smoothness of cost functions arising due to the use of multiple fuels. Simulations were performed over various systems with different numbers of generating units, and comparisons are performed with other existing relevant approaches. The findings affirmed the robustness, fast convergence and proficiency of the proposed methodology over other existing techniques.  相似文献

A numerical scheme was developed to simulate the interaction between the suspension lift-tab and the ramp of a load/unload-type hard disk drive with consideration of the contact and separation states. The suspension stiffnesses and effective masses were determined based on experiments and finite element analysis. The slider motion was simulated with a degenerated two-degree-of-freedom model, and the results were used as input to a single-degree-of-freedom model for the lift-tab motion. The ramp profile was converted, based on the lateral velocity of the suspension, to a vertical displacement versus time. Computational efficiency was achieved by using a head–disk constraint, instead of a full air-bearing solution, based on dual-scale considerations. The simulation results show that the maximum indentation depth at the tab–ramp engagement increases with an increase in the effective masses, lateral velocity, or ramp angle or with a decrease in the contact stiffness. The bouncing height and bouncing distance of the lift-tab increase with an increase in the contact stiffness, effective masses, lateral velocity, or with a decrease in the suspension stiffnesses. The air-bearing separation time decreases as the suspension stiffnesses, lateral velocity, or ramp angle increases. The coefficient of friction of the tab–ramp interface was found to have a slight influence on the lift-tab behavior on the inclined portion of the ramp.  相似文献

压力变送器响应时间传统检测方法是将待测变送器送人试验室进行离线检测。电厂压力变送器无法进行实时性检测。压力变送器在役期响应时间原位测量对保证电厂系统的可靠性与安全性非常重要。基于电厂正常工作期的压力变送器噪声信号,研究一种压力变送器噪声时域信号自回归(AR)模型分析的响应时间测量方法。通过最终测量误差(FPE)和阿凯克信息论(AIC)准则判断模型收敛阶数,Yuler-walker算法估计参数。模型参数确定后,计算模型脉冲响应,积分得斜坡响应并求得模型的响应时间。通过仿真验证模型算法,在实验室条件下通过外加气动噪声,对3款压力变送器试验,并与传统斜坡法测试结果进行对比。结果表明,3款压力变送器测试结果与斜坡法误差均小于7%,该研究对国内电厂压力变送器原位测试装置的研发有重要意义。  相似文献

大型风电场的并网对电力系统的优化运行提出了新的挑战。该文对含风电场的电力系统优化潮流问题进行了研究,建立了多时段动态优化潮流模型,为了考虑风速随机变化的特点,提出了分时段策略,将风机在每个时段输出功率的期望值用于优化潮流的计算。文中对现有含风电场的潮流计算方法进行了分析,推导了异步风力发电机的无功-电压特性方程,在此基础上提出了含风电场的潮流计算新方法,并将其应用于提出的动态优化潮流模型中。算例表明该方法是有效的,具有一定的实用性。  相似文献

在Lagrangian松弛框架下,很难确定机组组合问题的一个可行解是否可通过调整对偶机组组合而获得。对于具有爬升约束的机组组合调度问题来说,由于机组出力在连续的2个开机区间的耦合性,求解可行解就更困难。在Lagrangian松弛框架下,开发1个机组组合新方法的核心是如何获得1个可行的机组组合。文中采用Benders分解可行性条件严格证明了在给定时段,机组组合可行的充分必要条件:即在该时段一个相应于系统负载平衡约束和旋转各用约束的不等式组成立。该条件不需要求解经济分配问题,就可以判定机组组合的可行性。有了此条件,可在发电功率经济分配前知道机组组合是否可行,若不可行,则可通过调整机组组合状态而获得可行的组合。该条件对于构造一个求解机组组合问题的系统方法是重要且有效的。数值测试表明该条件是判定机组组合可行性的有效方法。  相似文献

As growing the demand for electrical energy, economic load dispatch (ELD) has become one of the most important and complex issues in the operation of power systems. Owing to the confined optimum convergence and the additional constraints, it does not proficient to crack such problems by the predictable optimization algorithms. In this paper, a self-adaptable differential evolution algorithm integrating with multiple mutation strategies (ADE-MMS) is proposed for the ELD problems. In order to improve the exploration and exploitation capabilities of the original differential evolution algorithm (DE), ADE-MMS has three extensions to DE. Firstly, four types of advanced vectors generated by the different methods are employed in the mutation strategies. Secondly, a self-adaptable selection mechanism for the multiple mutation strategies is implemented in the iterations. Thirdly, the main control parameters are updated according to the fitness value under the tolerance threshold. Additionally, an effective repair method is proposed to handle the equality constraints of the ELD problems. ADE-MMS not only improve the convergence speed of the original DE but also keep equilibrium state between the exploration and the exploration. A tolerance threshold for the main control parameters makes the original DE more adaptive. Moreover, the modified equality constraints handling method is benefit to meet the equality constraints and minimize the impact on the algorithm. The performances of four DE algorithms are tested on the ten ELD problems with diverse complexities. Experimental results and comparisons with other recently reported ELD algorithms confirm that ADE-MMS is capable of obtaining excellent and feasible solutions. It reveal that ADE-MMS has good potential to solvating the ELD problems.  相似文献

Unit commitment (UC) is a very important optimization task, which plays a major role in the daily operation planning of electric power systems that is why UC is a core research topic attracting a lot of research efforts. An innovative method based on an advanced memetic algorithm (MA) for the solution of price based unit commitment (PBUC) problem is proposed. The main contributions of this paper are: (i) an innovative two-level tournament selection, (ii) a new multiple window crossover, (iii) a novel window in window mutation operator, (iv) an innovative local search scheme called elite mutation, (v) new population initialization algorithm that is specific to PBUC problem, and (vi) new PBUC test systems including ramp up and ramp down constraints so as to provide new PBUC benchmarks for future research. The innovative two-level tournament selection mechanism contributes to the reduction of the required CPU time. The method has been applied to systems of up to 110 units and the results show that the proposed memetic algorithm is superior to other methods since it finds the optimal solution with a high success rate and within a reasonable execution time.  相似文献
