ABSTRACT

An experimental investigation use conducted on the performance of a solar box dryer for drying bamboo operating under tropical rearher conditions. The dryer is a greenhouse-type designed for multi-crap solar drying. Air circulation was by electrically-operated fan. The results shoved that the moisture content of the bamboo could be brought down to about 19% from an initial value of nearly 90% in 17 days by operating the dryer over 8 hours each day. Under natural drying conditiona. the final moisture content reached was only 12%. Although eolar drying of bamboo vaa only marginally faster than nacural drying. noncrhelesa. final moisture content was lower.  相似文献

Black liquor is the major by-product and fuel of pulp mills. In this work, effects of black liquor properties on its recovery unit operation are analyzed. Thus, an experimental methodology for characterizing the principal chemical and physical properties of eucalyptus Kraft and bamboo soda black liquors has been developed, including sample collections from six Brazilian mills. Based on results, eucalyptus and bamboo black liquors present higher contents of non-processing elements (NPEs), higher concentration and different molar mass of lignin than those reported by the pine Kraft black liquor. This leads to distinct rheological properties of these liquors. By comparing results obtained for the both liquors, the bamboo and the eucalyptus, the former has the lowest sulfur level, the highest silicon and lignin concentration and, consequently, the highest apparent viscosity.  相似文献

The flexural and impact resistance of a newly developed FRC/bamboo laminate have been investigated.The laminate considered in this study was combined with reformed bamboo plate and extruded fiber reinforced cementitious (FRC) sheet.Innovated from the raw bamboo,reformed bamboo showed high tensile strength and high strength to weight ratio.It can not only remarkably strengthen the FRC sheet but also reduce the total weight of the laminate.Flexural and impact load,broken energy,deflection and duration were measured.Test results showed that the flexural strength value for the laminate can be improved to greater than 90MPa,while the impact resistance is increased more than 10 times for the laminate when compared with the FRC sheet only.  相似文献

Dielectric constant (ε′) and tan δ dependence on distance from the outer most skin to the center of bamboo has been determined. Dielectric measurements have been done in the temperature range from 24 to 120°C and in the frequency range from 4 to 100 kHz. Gradient behavior in dielectric constant (ε′) and tan δ has been found in bamboo. It has also been observed that the dielectric constant (ε′) and tan δ increase with the increasing temperature and decrease with the increasing frequency. Relaxation times have been calculated for the four samples at 80, 90, and 100°C temperatures, which show that relaxation time decreases with the increase of temperature due to the increased molecular mobility. A continuous increase in the hardness from the center 48 to the outer surface 70 and density from 0.45 to 0.80 g/cc has been observed. © 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 用不同浓度的NaOH 溶液对竹纤维(bamboo fiber, BF) 进行表面改性处理, 一定温度烘干后, 通过熔融挤出 制备了竹纤维/聚丙烯(BF/PP) 竹塑复合材料。采用示差同步扫描热分析仪(TG-DSC)、红外光谱(FTIR)、X 射线衍 射仪(XRD) 和扫描电镜(SEM) 等对预处理前后BF 的结构进行表征, 并研究了复合材料的力学性能。结果表明: 改 性后BF 的热稳定性升高, 形成疏松的纤维束; 复合材料的力学性能显著提高。其中用3% 的NaOH 溶液改性BF 制 备的复合材料的力学性能最佳, 冲击强度较纯PP 可提高100%, 屈服强度提高14.8%。复合材料冲击断面SEM 显 示, 一定浓度的NaOH 溶液改性可以明显提高BF 与PP 基体树脂间的相容性。  相似文献

探究不同的竹木组坯方式对竹木复合建筑模板力学性能的影响。结果显示,竹束占比约50%的竹木复合建筑模板性能最好,此时的静曲强度和弹性模量分别超过70MPa、7000MPa,胶合强度为6MPa以上,均超过建筑模板的企业技术指标要求。其他组坯方式的竹木复合建筑模板也大多能达到强度要求。可为开发性能更好的竹木复合建筑模板提供理论参考与数据支撑。  相似文献

3D hierarchical structures are reported based on graphene–nickel encapsulated nitrogen‐rich aligned bamboo like carbon nanotubes, which show not only high‐performance supercapacitance behavior but also a great robust cyclic stability. A facile synthesis route is developed of 2D nickel oxide decorated functionalized graphene nanosheets (2D‐NiO‐f:GNSs) hybrids and 3D nitrogen doped bamboo‐shaped carbon nanotubes (NCNTs) vertically standing on the functionalized graphene nanosheets (3D‐NCNT@f:GNSs) by using a thermal decomposition method. The chemical reduction and morphology‐dependent electrochemical response are investigated. The enhanced specific capacitance of 3D‐NCNT@f:GNSs as compared to that of 2D‐NiO‐f:GNSs suggests the synergistic effects and indicates the importance of energy storage and superior long‐term cycling performance that are achieved. This 3D‐NCNT@f:GNSs hybrid shows a remarkable cycling stability with a maximum power density of 12.32 kW kg−1 and maximum energy density of 109.13 Wh kg−1 due to the good connection of NCNT and f:GNSs. This unique 3D nano network architecture enables the availability of large surface areas of NCNT, thus endowing the nanohybrids with high specific capacitance and excellent reusability.  相似文献
