The effects of recent practice on task switching.

Four experiments investigated the effect of recent selective practice on the cost of switching between 2 tasks afforded by letter-digit pairs: alphabet arithmetic and shape comparison. Experiments 1 and 2 found a greater cost associated with switching to the more recently practiced task: evidence that task-set inertia contributes to switching costs. Experiment 3 found this effect to be limited to trials on which a recently trained stimulus followed another such stimulus: a result problematic for all current theories of task-set priming. Experiment 4 showed that the effect of recent practice was eliminated by active preparation for a task switch: It appears that endogenous task-set preparation reduces the effects of task-set inertia. Is evidence-based practice diverse enough? Philosophy of science considerations.

In its policy rationale for evidence-based practice in psychology (EBPP), the APA Presidential Task Force on Evidence-Based Practice (see record 2006-05893-001) claims to have constituted itself with "scientists and practitioners from a wide range of perspectives and traditions, reflecting the diverse perspectives within the field" (p. 273). We applaud this attention to diversity but contend that an entire perspective of the debate was omitted in the Task Force's newly approved policy and its underlying report. The failure to consider a philosophy of science perspective led the Task Force to make a number of epistemological assumptions that are not based on evidence or rationale and that thus violate the very spirit of evidence-based decision making. Development,construction, and use of pneumometric tubes for measurement of steam flow in the steam lines of PVG-1000 at NPP

A system for the direct measurement of steam flow in steam lines after a steam generator, which utilizes a special design of pneumometric tubes and a computing unit that accounts for variation in steam pressure, has been developed to improve the quality of water-level regulation in the steam generators of VVéR-1000 power-generating units in the stationary and transitional modes. The advantage of the pneumometric tubes consists in their structural simplicity, high erosion resistance, and absence of irrevocable losses during measurement of steam flow. A similar measurement system is used at foreign NPP. The measurement system in question has been placed in experimental service at the No. 3 unit of the Balakovo NPP, and has demonstrated its worthiness. This measurement system can also be used to determine steam flow in the steam lines of NPP units with VVéR-1000 and VVéR-440 reactors, and PBMK-1000 power-generating units. __________ Translated from élektricheskie Stantsii, No. 3, March 2007, pp. 23–26.     

调整我国产业结构的若干思考

在国有企业产权制度改革中，改革不合理的产业结构是主要内容之一。不合理的产业结构带来了资产流量与存量产出效益的巨大损失，并放大了市场信号的失真度。因此强化产业结构的调整，是深化经济体制改革，使国民经济持续发展的保证。本文在分析产业结构不合理现状的基础上，提出了对调整我国产业结构的见解。

本文讨论了在两个园柱体的环形狭缝中不可压缩流体的流动．在一定的假设下，运用流体力学方程和流体对柱体的作用方程，导出了附加质量和转动惯量、振动频率和衰减系数．并对文（１）中的某些结果进行了必要的修正．     

太湖流域河道内用水控制指标分析计算

河道内用水控制指标是反映水资源供需平衡状况、协调河道内外用水、统筹上下游用水关系及流域和区域水资源配置优化程度的重要指标。文中根据太湖流域特点,选取了太湖及平原河网区13个代表站的水位资料,通过频率分析法和Tennant法,提出在满足生活、生产和生态用水条件下,太湖和流域平原河网区代表站允许的最低旬平均水位控制指标,及黄浦江松浦大桥断面允许的最小月净泄量控制指标。     

沙颍河流域水资源利用量与经济发展匹配特征

根据沙颍河流域河南段情况确定各地市水资源可利用量,基于数列的匹配度计算方法,对流域内10个地市2014—2018年水资源利用量与经济发展关系进行研究,分析各地市用水量、水资源可利用量与GDP关联程度。结果表明：由于气候条件等因素差异,水资源可利用量差距较大,其中漯河市和周口市单位面积水资源可利用量较多;在研究年限内,各地市水资源可利用量与用水量匹配情况差异较大;在时间维度上,各地市用水量与GDP匹配程度较好,而在空间维度上,开封市匹配情况最差,漯河等城市较好;各地市水资源可利用量与GDP匹配情况存在明显的时空差异。     

Adaptive simulated annealing particle swarm optimization algorithm

Particle swarm optimization is widely used in various fields because of the few parameters to be set and the simple calculation structure.In order to improve the optimization speed and accuracy of the PSO,and to avoid falling into the local optimal solution,an adaptive simulated annealing PSO is proposed,which uses the hyperbolic tangent function to control the inertia weight factor for nonlinear adaptive changes,uses linear change strategies to control 2 learning factors,introduces the simulation annealing operation,set a temperature according to the initial state of the population,guide the population to accept the difference solution with a certain probability according to the Metropolis criterion,and ensure the ability to jump out of the local optimal solution.To verify the effect of the algorithm proposed in this paper,7 typical test functions and 5 algorithms proposed in the literature are selected for comparison and testing.According to the average value,standard deviation and number of iterations of the optimization results,the algorithm proposed in this paper has greatly improved the iteration accuracy,convergence speed and stability so as to overcome the shortcomings of particle swarm optimization.
