Annular‐ring slot antenna designs with circular polarization radiation

The design of a microstrip‐fed annular‐ring slot antenna (ARSA) with circular polarization (CP) radiation is initially studied. To obtain CP radiation with broad 3‐dB axial ratio (AR) bandwidth that can cover the WiMAX 2.3 GHz (2305–2320 MHz, 2345–2360 MHz) and WLAN 2.4 GHz (2400–2480 MHz) bands, a novel technique of extending an inverted L‐shaped slot from the bottom section of the annular‐ring is proposed. To suppress the harmonic modes induced by the CP ARSA, the technique of integrating a defected ground structure into the annular‐ring slot is further introduced. From the measured results, 10‐dB impedance bandwidth and 3‐dB AR bandwidth of 44.86 and 9.68% were achieved by the proposed harmonic suppressed CP ARSA. Furthermore, average gain and radiation efficiency of ～4.7 dBic and 71%, respectively, were also exhibited across the bands of interest. © 2014 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Second harmonic generation from a ferroelectric film

We derive an expression for transmittivity (T_SHG) of second harmonic generation (SHG) signals from a ferroelectric (FE) film. Intensities of up and down fields in the medium are investigated in relation to T_SHG. The derivations are made based on undepletion of input fields and nonlinear wave equation derived from the Maxwell equations. We present two cases: film without mirrors and with partial mirrors. Expressions for the newly derived nonlinear susceptibility coefficients of SHG for real crystal symmetry [J. Opt. Soc. Am. B 19 (2002) 2007] are used to get more realistic results. Variations in T_SHG with respect to film thickness are illustrated.     

电力系统谐波检测的现状与发展

准确、实时地对电力系统谐波进行检测有着重要的意义。本文根据电力系统谐波测量的基本方法，对近年来电力系统谐波检测的新方法进行了分析和评述。最后对电力系统的谐波测量进行了总结并提出了看法。     

谐波齿轮机构在商业表格印刷机中的应用

从商业表格印刷机特殊要求出发，以某一具体机型的传动系统为例，提出采用谐波齿轮机构解决纵向套准的问题。并且分析研究了谐波齿轮机构的工作原理及其在商业表格印刷机中的使用。     

热流法计算高温炉内辐射传热

高温炉内的辐射传热是工业生产中常遇到的问题。过去，人们在应用热流法计算辐射传热时遇到了一定的困难，使计算结果与实际有一定的偏差。本文运用文献［１］中给出的新热流数学模型，开发出由新热流方程与能量方程相耦合的计算机程序，其中的比热流参数由线加热热源情况下计算得到。用该程序计算了实验室用马弗炉内的温度场，并且用热电偶实测了炉内的一些温度值，理论计算与实测值符合很好。     

低压铝箔交流腐蚀研究

在３０Ｈｚ频率下，通过铝箔在ＨＣｌ＋Ｈ２ＳＯ４＋ＨＮＯ３＋Ｈ３ＰＯ４体系中的交流腐蚀，研究腐蚀液组成中腐蚀主体及缓蚀剂对铝箔腐蚀的作用，探讨腐蚀过程中电源频率、腐蚀液温度、电流密度及腐蚀时间对铝箔腐蚀的影响。腐蚀液组成的配比恰当，有利于比容的提高。在特定的频率下采用合适的腐蚀液温度、适宜的电流密度和腐蚀时间可以提高铝箔的静电容量。     

低温吸附法脱除一氧化碳中甲烷的实验研究

在液氮温度下,采用吸附剂CNA X进行低温脱甲烷动态吸附实验,结果表明CNA X在液氮温度下可以将一氧化碳中0 1%左右的甲烷脱除到10×10-6。     

Obtaining shorter regular expressions from finite-state automata

We consider the use of state elimination to construct shorter regular expressions from finite-state automata (FAs). Although state elimination is an intuitive method for computing regular expressions from FAs, the resulting regular expressions are often very long and complicated. We examine the minimization of FAs to obtain shorter expressions first. Then, we introduce vertical chopping based on bridge states and horizontal chopping based on the structural properties of given FAs. We prove that we should not eliminate bridge states until we eliminate all non-bridge states to obtain shorter regular expressions. In addition, we suggest heuristics for state elimination that leads to shorter regular expressions based on vertical chopping and horizontal chopping.

Relaxation phenomena caused by equilibration of point defects

Relaxation phenomena due to equilibration of point defects in metals are reviewed. The relaxation effect in specific heat observed in tungsten and platinum confirms that in both cases the nonlinear increase in the high-temperature specific heat has to be attributed to point-defect formation. Relaxation phenomena observed by measurements of electrical resistivity and positron annihilation are also considered. The comparison of the data seems to be favorable for the conclusion that all the phenomena are of one origin.
