Transparent YIG (Y3Fe5O12) ceramics are successfully synthesized by reactive sintering at normal pressure using γ-Fe2O3 and Y2O3 as starting materials. The grain size of the sintered YIG ceramics is ca. 10–15 µm. Residual pores are not observed on the surface of sample, but numerous residual pores are observed by infrared transmission microscopy. In-line transmittance of a commercially available high-quality YIG single crystal (thickness 1 mm) fabricated by the floating zone method is 75 % in the near to mid-infrared region, whereas the sample produced in this study shows an in-line transmittance of 71 % in the wavelength range above 1.5 µm.  相似文献

Environmental barrier coatings (EBCs) are used in commercial turbine engine applications as protection for ceramic matrix composites, yet the high-temperature water vapor reaction mechanism for EBC materials is not fully understood. Here, the water vapor reaction mechanism for barium strontium alumino-silicate (BSAS), an early generation EBC candidate, was determined from the time and temperature dependences of material loss. BSAS water vapor exposures were performed at 1200 °C, 1300 °C, and 1400 °C for 24, 48, and 72 h, at maximum gas velocities of ~ 240 m/s. FactSage thermodynamic calculations were shown to support the experimental findings, where the steam reaction mechanism consisted of volatilization of all BSAS oxide constituents as gaseous metal hydroxide species, i.e. Ba(OH)2, Sr(OH)2, Al(OH)3, and Si(OH)4 (g).  相似文献

With the downscaling of CMOS devices, dynamic variability induced by negative bias temperature instability (NBTI) has become a critical issue. In addition to the time-dependent device-to-device variation (DDV) of NBTI degradation, the cycle-to-cycle variation (CCV) originated from random trap occupation is found non-negligible and should be added into the total dynamic variation. This paper summarizes our recent studies on NBTI-induced dynamic variability, focusing on the CCV effect, with more details on the statistical modeling, circuit reliability simulation methodologies and experimental results. By adding the random trap occupation into consideration, a statistical model for total dynamic variation (DDV + CCV) is proposed. The effective occupancy probability peff is introduced as a key parameter for modeling and circuit reliability simulation. With the statistical trap response (STR) method and modified on-the-fly method, the proposed model is validated by the experimental evidence under both DC and AC NBTI. According to the model and experimental results, circuit reliability simulation framework is proposed for both long-term quasi-static and short-term transient performance evaluation with the additional impact of CCV. Two representative digital circuit units, ring oscillator (RO) and SRAM cell, are simulated under different conditions, indicating it necessary to consider the evident influence of the CCV in accurate circuit reliability evaluation. The results are helpful for the reliability/variability-aware circuit design in nanoscale technology.  相似文献

Gd2Zr2O7 ceramics demonstrate important prospect in the immobilization of high-level radioactive wastes (HLWs). In this study, Gd2Zr2O7 nanoceramics were fabricated using two-step method, where Gd2Zr2O7 nanopowder was firstly synthesized by solvothermal method and Gd2Zr2O7 nanoceramics were subsequently sintered via self-propagating chemical furnace plus quick pressing (SCF/QP). The characterization results display that the Gd2Zr2O7 nanocrystalline ceramics with average grain size of 78 nm and bulk density of 5.53 g cm−3 were successfully prepared. The results of MCC-1 static leaching experiments show that the normalized release rate (LRi) of Gd is 2.2 × 10−2 g m−2•d−1 on the first day and converges to 1.2 × 10−3 g m−2•d−1 after 42 days. Zr shows superior chemical stability as the 21 days LRZr value is as low as 2.7 × 10−6 g m−2•d−1, which becomes constant as the leaching duration prolongs.  相似文献

The multi-index hashing (MIH) is the state-of-the-art method for indexing binary codes. However, it is based on the dataset codes uniform distribution assumption, and will lower efficiency in dealing with non-uniformly distributed codes. In this paper, we propose a data-oriented multi-index hashing method. We first compute the correlations between bits and learn adaptive projection vector for each binary substring. Then, instead of using substrings as direct indices into hash tables, we project them with corresponding projection vectors to generate new indices. With adaptive projection, the indices in each hash table are nearly uniformly distributed. Besides, we put forward an entropy based measurement to evaluate the distribution of data items in each hash table. Experiments conducted on reference large scale datasets show that compared to the MIH the time performance of our method can be 36.9%~87.4% better .  相似文献

Both charge recombination and degradation in sequential solution processed polymer/fullerene bilayer organic photovoltaics (OPV) are effectively reduced by the insertion of a TiO2 inter-layer between the bilayer and Al electrode. The polymer/fullerene bilayer composed of a poly(3-hexylthiophene) (P3HT) bottom-layer and a [6,6] phenyl C61-butyric acid methyl ester (PCBM) top-layer shows significant change in morphology due to the substantial inter-penetration of P3HT and PCBM during the thermal annealing process. Consequently, the bilayer surface becomes P3HT rich resulting in significant charge recombination at the bilayer/Al interface of the bilayer OPV. The charge recombination rate of the bilayer OPV is reduced by one order of magnitude upon the insertion of a TiO2 nanoparticle inter-layer between the bilayer and the Al electrode after the thermal annealing process. In contrast, when the thermal annealing process is conducted after insertion of the inter-layer, the effect of the TiO2 inter-layer becomes insignificant. The VOC and efficiency of the bilayer OPV is greatly enhanced from 0.37 to 0.66 V and 1.2% to 3.7%, respectively by utilizing the properly constructed TiO2 inter-layer in the bilayer OPV. Additionally, insertion of the TiO2 inter-layer significantly improves the stability of the bilayer OPV. The bilayer OPV with a TiO2 inter-layer maintains 51% of its initial PCE after storage under dark ambient conditions for 700 h without encapsulation, whereas the bilayer OPV without a TiO2 inter-layer did not show any solar cell performance after 200 h under the same conditions.  相似文献

The provenance of cobalt mineral of the blue decoration in Yuan Qinghua porcelain would reveal the technological and cultural interaction between ancient China and the Islamic world. However, the limitation of conventional methods in the determining trace elements of the blue decoration hampered the deep research on provenance of the cobalt mineral. In the paper, we employed the good advantage of Laser-ablation-inductively-coupled-plasma-mass-spectroscopy (LA-ICP-MS) to determine the major element and trace elements of blue decoration of the different type of Qinghua successfully. The blue decoration of all different types of samples shared the same characteristics of higher FeO and lower Mn, which suggested the potter adopted the non-native cobalt material of China to paint the Yuan Qinghua in Jingdezheng, and the difference on the outside appearance of blue decoration of different samples were supposed to be related to the tenor of ore, the different treatment process of cobalt material and the firing process in the kiln. In addition, the significant differences on the element concentrations of Cu, Ni, Pb, Zr and Sb in the blue decoration between Yuan Qinghua and the Islamic blue and white wares of 13–14th century provided a new evidence to discuss the provenance of the cobalt of Yuan Qinghua porcelain.  相似文献

Although widely used by brands to communicate an exotic origin, exotypes have never been studied in the marketing literature. This research presents the exotype family of typefaces and then uses semiotic models to examine its power to evoke foreign cultures. One experiment is conducted among 1718 questionnaire respondents in order to study consumer perceptions of six exotypes. The results show that exotypes are able to communicate a specific exotic origin, especially when the connoted meaning of the typeface is congruent with the denoted meaning of the text.  相似文献

With the emerging development of three-dimensional (3D) related technologies, 3D visual saliency modeling is becoming particularly important and challenging. This paper presents a new depth perception and visual comfort guided saliency computational model for stereoscopic 3D images. The prominent advantage of the proposed model is that we incorporate the influence of depth perception and visual comfort on 3D visual saliency computation. The proposed saliency model is composed of three components: 2D image saliency, depth saliency and visual comfort based saliency. In the model, color saliency, texture saliency and spatial compactness are computed respectively and fused to derive 2D image saliency. Global disparity contrast is considered to compute depth saliency. Particularly, we train a visual comfort prediction function to distinguish stereoscopic image pair as high comfortable stereo viewing (HCSV) or low comfortable stereo viewing (LCSV), and devise different computational rules to generate a visual comfort based saliency map. The final 3D saliency map is obtained by using a linear combination and enhanced by a “saliency-center bias” model. Experimental results show that the proposed 3D saliency model outperforms the state-of-the-art models on predicting human eye fixations and visual comfort assessment.  相似文献

In this paper, we propose a new angle quantization index modulation (AQIM) method, called the difference AQIM (DAQIM) method. The proposed method aims to improve the watermarking performance against gain attacks. Unlike the original AQIM method (Ourique et al., Angle QIM: a novel watermark embedding scheme robust against amplitude scaling distortions, in: Proceedings of IEEE International Conference on Acoustics, Speech, and Signal Processing, vol. 2, 2005, pp. 797–800), the DAQIM method quantizes the difference of the two angles instead of the angles themselves. The main advantage of the DAQIM method is to disperse the interference to the watermark signal from one angle to more angles. Thus, the watermark has a higher ability to resist attacks. We perform a theoretical analysis of the document-to-watermark ratio (DWR) based on our proposed method. We show that our proposed method can obtain a lower embedding distortion compared to the AQIM and the gradient direction watermarking (GDWM) (Nezhadarya et al., IEEE Trans. Inf. Forensics Secur., 6(4), 2011, 1200–1213), methods under the same robustness and payload conditions. The experimental results demonstrate that our proposed method outperforms common existing methods in terms of the robustness against various attacks such as the JPEG quantization noise, additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN), cropping effect and mean filtering.  相似文献
