Reducing the complexity of distance measurement methods for circular turbo codes that use structured interleavers

The knowledge of turbo code's minimum Hamming distance (d_min) and its corresponding codeword multiplicity (A_min) is of a great importance because the error correction capability of a code is strongly tied to the values of d_min and A_min. Unfortunately, the computational complexity associated with the search for d_min and A_min can be very high, especially for a turbo code that has high d_min value. This paper introduces some useful properties of turbo codes that use structured interleavers together with circular encoding. These properties allow for a significant reduction of search space and thus reduce significantly the computational complexity associated with the determination of d_min and A_min values. © 2014 The Authors. Annular‐ring slot antenna designs with circular polarization radiation

The design of a microstrip‐fed annular‐ring slot antenna (ARSA) with circular polarization (CP) radiation is initially studied. To obtain CP radiation with broad 3‐dB axial ratio (AR) bandwidth that can cover the WiMAX 2.3 GHz (2305–2320 MHz, 2345–2360 MHz) and WLAN 2.4 GHz (2400–2480 MHz) bands, a novel technique of extending an inverted L‐shaped slot from the bottom section of the annular‐ring is proposed. To suppress the harmonic modes induced by the CP ARSA, the technique of integrating a defected ground structure into the annular‐ring slot is further introduced. From the measured results, 10‐dB impedance bandwidth and 3‐dB AR bandwidth of 44.86 and 9.68% were achieved by the proposed harmonic suppressed CP ARSA. Furthermore, average gain and radiation efficiency of ～4.7 dBic and 71%, respectively, were also exhibited across the bands of interest. © 2014 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 基于主体外部轮廓的照片分割算法

在实际应用中常常需要将人像从照片的背景中有效地分割出来，通常的做法是通过提取照片中人像各部分特征来实现分割，其缺陷是计算复杂度较大，分割效果受各种干扰因素影响很大。现提出了一种基于主体外部轮廓信息的照片分割算法，通过梯度锐化、边缘保护、临近像素点相似度比较来确定图像的边界，该算法对于具有相对均匀背景的照片具有较高的计算效率。

45钢表面超音速电弧喷涂Ti-Al涂层的组织与性能研究

采用自行开发研制的超音速电弧喷设备，在45钢表面制成了钛铝合金复合涂层。并利用金相显微镜、X射线衍射仪、扫描电镜、电子探针，对涂层的成分、相结构、显微组织及其结合强度、显微硬度进行了研究。结果表明，利用超音速电弧喷涂设备，可以在45钢表面形成 度高、孔隙率低，结合强度较好和硬度高的Ti-Al合金涂层。     

建筑电气设计中AutoCAD二次开发的研究

基于AutoCAD的二次开发环境下,建立幻灯片库,在AutoCAD本身所包含的程序帮助下,将已建好的幻灯片库嵌入到AutoCAD用户专用下拉菜单中.给设计者创造属于自己的开发环境,使AutoCAD在建筑电气设计中的使用更加灵活,极大的提高设计效率.     

Effect of Rare Earth Element Cerium on Mechanical Properties and Morphology of TiN Coating Prepared by Arc Ion Plating

TiN coatings were deposited on polished substrates of W18Cr4V high speed steel by means of vacuum arc ion plating. The effect of cerium on adhesion between TiN coating and substrate was studied. The microstructures and composition of TiN coatings were also investigated by means of scanning electron microscope (SEM), Auger electron spectroscopy (AES), and X-ray diffraction (XRD) technique. It was found that cerium is an effective modifying agent and the addition of suitable amount of cerium to TiN coatings can produce relatively excellent properties such as micro-hardness, wear resistance, oxidation resistance and porosity. The experimental results show that the added cerium in TiN coatings makesa contribution to form the preferred direction along with a (111 ) or (222) close packed face, which may be one of the reasons that improves some properties mentioned above.     

特高压快速接地开关的研制

特高压输电线路上,潜供电弧对线路产生的影响不容忽视,潜供电弧的顺利熄灭是实现单相自动重合闸的必要条件.稳态下潜供电流和恢复电压幅值是潜供电弧熄灭的两个决定性因素.快速接地开关作为重要的电器设备,越来越多的应用于电力系统中.快速接地开关除了在系统发生故障时接地外,还能快速关合潜供电流和降低恢复电压.本文根据750kV系统潜供电弧的特点和熄弧要求,研制了一种快速接地开关,着重对触头系统进行了研究,计算了触头压力、触头电动力及断口开距的大小,给出了快速接地开关整体设计思路和结构图.     

MHD simulation of high-current subsonic vacuum arc under different distributed axial magnetic fields

Based on two-temperature magnetic hydrodynamic (MHD) model, the influence of saddle-shaped distributed axial magnetic field (AMF, linearly increases along radial position) and bell-shaped distributed AMF (linearly decreases along radial position) on plasma loss and heat flux density to anode in subsonic high-current vacuum arc (HCVA) is simulated and analyzed. According to the simulation results, the saddle-shaped AMF can more effectively inhibit plasma loss from arc column than that of bell-shaped AMF. Comparisons between simulation results and experimental results further verify the correctness of model and simulation.
