Strain rate is not only an important measure to characterize the deformation property, but also an important parameter to analyze the dynamic mechanical properties of rock materials. In this paper, by using the SHPB test system improved with high temperature device, the dynamic compressive tests of sandstone at seven temperatures in the range of room temperature to 1000 °C and five impact velocities in the range of 11.0–15.0 m/s were conducted. Investigations were carried out on the influences of strain rate on dynamic compressive mechanical behaviors of sandstone. The results of the study indicate that the enhancement effects of strain rates on dynamic compressive strength, peak strain, energy absorption ratio of sandstone under high temperatures still exist. However, the increase ratios of dynamic compressive strength, peak strain, and energy absorption ratio of rock under high temperature compared to room temperature have no obvious strain rate effects. The temperatures at which the strain rates affect dynamic compressive strength and peak strain most, are 800, and 1000 °C, respectively. The temperatures at which the strain rates affect dynamic compressive strength and peak strain weakest, are 1000 °C, and room temperature, respectively. At 200 and 800 °C, the strain rate effect on energy absorption ratio are most significant, while at 1000 °C, it is weakest. There are no obvious strain rate effects on elastic modulus and increase ratio of elastic modulus under high temperatures. According to test results, the relationship formula of strain rate with high temperature and impact load was derived by internalizing fitting parameters. The load applied to a machine tool feed drive changes during the machining process as material is removed. This load change alters the Coulomb friction of the feed drive. Because Coulomb friction accounts for a large part of the total friction the friction compensation control accuracy of the feed drives is limited if this nonlinear change in the applied load is not considered. This paper presents a new friction compensation method that estimates the machine tool load in real time and considers its effect on friction characteristics. A friction observer based on a Kalman filter with load estimation is proposed for friction compensation control considering the applied load change. A specially designed feed drive testbed that enables the applied load to be modified easily was constructed for experimental verification. Glyco‐mimicking nanoparticles (glyco‐NPs) with Förster resonance energy transfer (FRET) donor and acceptor groups formed via dynamic covalent bond of benzoboroxole and sugar from two complementary polymers are prepared. The glyco‐NPs are proved to be quite stable under physiological conditions but sensitive to pH. So the glyco‐NPs can be internalized by dendritic cells with integrity and nontoxicity and then dissociate within the acidic organelles. This particle dissociation is directly observed and visualized in vitro, for the first time via the FRET measurements and fluorescent microscopy. This feature makes controlled release of drug or protein by glyco‐NPs possible, i.e., when model antigen Ovalbumin is loaded in the glyco‐NPs, the released Ovalbumin in dendritic cells stimulates T cells more efficiently than the free Ovalbumin itself as a result of the enhanced antigen processing and presentation. This study addresses the problem of choosing the most suitable probabilistic model selection criterion for unsupervised learning
of visual context of a dynamic scene using mixture models. A rectified Bayesian Information Criterion (BICr) and a Completed
Likelihood Akaike’s Information Criterion (CL-AIC) are formulated to estimate the optimal model order (complexity) for a given
visual scene. Both criteria are designed to overcome poor model selection by existing popular criteria when the data sample
size varies from small to large and the true mixture distribution kernel functions differ from the assumed ones. Extensive
experiments on learning visual context for dynamic scene modelling are carried out to demonstrate the effectiveness of BICr
and CL-AIC, compared to that of existing popular model selection criteria including BIC, AIC and Integrated Completed Likelihood
(ICL). Our study suggests that for learning visual context using a mixture model, BICr is the most appropriate criterion given

Aqueous solutions of poly(vinyl pyrrolidone)-fullerene complexes (PVP-C70) have been studied using static and dynamic light scattering methods. Two diffusive processes were detected. The slow diffusion was interpreted as dynamics of large intermolecular PVP-C70 complexes while the fast diffusion was associated with the presence of individual PVP molecules in solution. It was also shown that the molecular weights and dimensions of PVP-C70 complexes are smaller than for PVP-C60 by a factor of 2.5-3. In aqueous solutions of PVP-C70 complex the depolarization and dissymmetry of scattered light were observed in contrast to PVP-C60 solutions. It reveals the existence of anisotropic structures in PVP-C70 solutions. Intermolecular interactions within PVP-C70 complexes are weak and a hydrodynamic field can destroy complexes. 相似文献

This article presents a method that can be applied to molten AA-6101 alloy to improve electrical properties of the aluminium part of the optical ground wire (OPGW) used in overhead transmission lines to protect phase conductors from lightning strike and to transmit signals and data. AA-6101 alloy in casting of the log as 6 m length and 178 mm diameter for extrusion has been inoculated by AlB2 to decrease detrimental effects of Cr, Ti, V, and Zr on the conductivity of the material. After inoculation, improved billets were extruded as 9.5 mm diameter feedstock. Required wires drawn from the feedstock according to the construction types of OPGW to be tested were exposed to aging at 175°C, 6 h (T-8). Upon completion of the back-twist and performing-type stranding process, resistance, and short-circuit current capacity and breaking load of the OPGW 88/44 constructions with other metal combinations have been examined and tested to show improvement. Many media processing applications create a load that varies significantly over time. Hence, if such an application is assigned a lower processing-time budget than needed in its worst-case load situation, deadline misses are likely to occur. This problem can be dealt with by designing media processing applications in a scalable fashion. A scalable media processing application can run in multiple qualities, leading to correspondingly different resource demands. The problem we consider is to find an accompanying quality control strategy, which minimizes both the number of deadline misses and the number of quality changes, while maximizing the quality of processing. We present an initial approach to the above problem by modeling it as a Markov decision process (MDP). Our model is based on measuring relative progress at milestones. Solving the MDP results in a quality control strategy that can be applied during runtime with only little overhead. We evaluate our approach by means of a practical example, which concerns a scalable MPEG-2 decoder. 相似文献

介绍北方交通大学与比利时鲁汶大学、布鲁塞尔自由大学、比利时铁路公司合作,在巴黎至布鲁塞尔之间高速铁路线上的Antoing大桥进行的二次高速铁路桥梁动力试验。试验桥梁由跨度50m的多跨预应力混凝土简支槽型梁构成,试验中列车速度达265-310km/h。通过现场试验和实验结果分析,得到了桥梁的频率、振型、阻尼等自振特性,以及桥梁在高速列车作用下的动挠度、梁和桥墩的横向和竖向加速度、橡胶支座的相对位移、梁体的动应变等动力响应特性。试验经验和测试结果对于充实高速铁路桥梁动力分析理论、改进数值分析模型、验证计算结果、提高高速铁路桥梁的动力设计水平、保证行车安全,具有重要的意义。 相似文献
