Within the concept of physical mesomechanics of materials and fracture mechanics the peculiarities of deformation and failure of heat resistant 25Cr1Mo1V steel with a network of thermal fatigue cracks are investigated. The deformation performance and settlement failure mechanism of geosynthetics-reinforced soil (GRS) walls are the two key points of engineering design under the differential settlement. This paper presents model tests of deformation performance and failure mechanism of the GRS wall with and without lateral restriction under differential settlement conditions. The observation and measurement results, including force and vertical displacement of geosynthetics and lateral deformation of facing panels, indicate good settlement control performance of GRS wall during construction and under differential settlement. Results indicate that the influence of the stress state of facing panels on the settlement control performance of GRS wall cannot be ignored. And the differential settlement failure of GRS wall is likely to occur in the joint of facing panels and geosynthetics. For good illustrations, two analytical approaches about deformation and stress of geosynthetics were proposed based on elastic cable theory, in GRS wall with and without lateral restriction. The expressions exclude the necessity to carry out sophisticated numerical analyses to stress and deformation and may help to develop the design guidelines for such GRS wall. 相似文献

Geosynthetic reinforced soil embankment are extensively applied in the construction of high-speed railway and highway in mountainous regions but limited field monitoring is conducted on high and steep cases. Aiming to acquire better understanding, a 33-m-high single-tiered wrapped-facing geogrid reinforced soil embankment with the slope of 1 V:0.5H in China was monitored for 2 years during and after construction. Vertical earth pressure, strain of geogrids, horizontal displacement and settlement per layer were recorded and analysed. The results show that the geogrid tensile strains gradually increased during construction. And they were still developing after completion due to creep and subsequent vehicle surcharge load. The predictions of reinforcement loads by the FHWA methods were much higher than the estimated ones from measured strains. The vertical earth pressures linearly grew during construction and then stabilized fast. The horizontal displacement increases with height and the largest value achieved around the top of the slope two years after the construction is 0.14% the total height approximately. The settlement per layer is larger in the lower and middle portion of the embankment and no obvious change is observed over time. This study hopes to serve as a case reference for design and construction of similar reinforcement projects in the future. 相似文献

Taking into account the effect of structural compliance, inverse dynamics of the active over-constrained parallel manipulator 6PUS–UPU with five degrees of freedom is solved in this article. Firstly, the relationship between driving forces and actuated force screws of each limb is derived. Then the coordination of elastic deformation between limbs which consider the effect of gravity and inertia is acquired. Finally the unique solution of driving forces for the active over-constrained parallel manipulator is derived by incorporating the force equilibrium equation of the moving platform. To validate the theoretical derivation, dynamics simulation model of manipulator based on rigid–flexible mixed structure is shown and numerical examples are given. Comparison with the traditional method of dynamics based on pseudo-inverse is also made. Finally, a feasible experimental method, as an effective test to the theoretical calculation, is proposed and applied on the prototype. 相似文献

The deformation twins initiated in CrMnFeCoNi high entropy alloy at cryogenic temperature are experimentally studied. Under the external loading, a three-dimensional shear stress concentration originating from dislocation tangling at both the grain boundaries and twin boundaries could be formed, which promotes emission of partial dislocations from the planar defects and is thus considered to be the key factor for twin formation. A sympathetic nucleation mechanism is proposed to describe the nucleation behaviors of twins. 相似文献

Eutectic high-entropy alloys (EHEAs) that have superior formability are attractive for direct laser deposition technology. In this study, a regular-shaped bulk Ni32Co30Cr10Fe10Al18 EHEA without apparent pores and micro-cracks was successfully fabricated by direct laser deposition. The as-deposited alloy showed a high tensile strength of 1.3 GPa with a ductility of 35% at ambient temperature and a tensile strength of 320 MPa at 760 °C. The deformation mechanisms of the as-deposited alloy at ambient and elevated temperatures were investigated by coupling the in-situ tensile test with a scanning electron microscope. It is revealed that the excellent combination of strength and ductility originated from the synergic effects of the FCC and B2 phases in eutectic lamellae. And the generation of cracks along phase boundaries restricted its high-temperature strength above 760 °C. 相似文献

Deformation modulus of rock mass is one of the input parameters to most rock engineering designs and constructions. The field tests for determination of deformation modulus are cumbersome, expensive and time-consuming. This has prompted the development of various regression equations to estimate deformation modulus from results of rock mass classifications, with rock mass rating (RMR) being one of the frequently used classifications. The regression equations are of different types ranging from linear to nonlinear functions like power and exponential. Bayesian method has recently been developed to incorporate regression equations into a Bayesian framework to provide better estimates of geotechnical properties. The question of whether Bayesian method improves the estimation of geotechnical properties in all circumstances remains open. Therefore, a comparative study was conducted to assess the performances of regression and Bayesian methods when they are used to characterize deformation modulus from the same set of RMR data obtained from two project sites. The study also investigated the performance of different types of regression equations in estimation of the deformation modulus. Statistics, probability distributions and prediction indicators were used to assess the performances of regression and Bayesian methods and different types of regression equations. It was found that power and exponential types of regression equations provide a better estimate than linear regression equations. In addition, it was discovered that the ability of the Bayesian method to provide better estimates of deformation modulus than regression method depends on the quality and quantity of input data as well as the type of the regression equation. 相似文献

采用粉末冶金工艺制备了不同Ni含量的(Mg2Ni+Mg3Sb2)/Mg基复合材料,并采用热压工艺对已制备的复合材料进行塑性变形处理,研究了热压对(Mg2Ni+Mg3Sb2)/Mg基复合材料显微组织及力学性能的影响。结果表明,热压变形可以细化基体Mg颗粒,提高Mg3Sb2和Mg2Ni相分布均匀性,消除材料中的孔洞和裂隙等缺陷,提高复合材料的致密度,同时,使复合材料的力学性能得到显著提高。 相似文献
