An Acoustic Converter Used to Measure Ionizing Radiation Energy Loss

A monitor is proposed based on ultrasonic production when ionizing radiation passes through a medium. The recording element is a 0.2 mm aluminum plate mounted in a ceramic acoustic converter AC in the form of a wedge of thickness 2 mm. The low plate thickness minimizes the beam parameter distortion, while special technology used in the AC provides high sensitivity. The device has been calibrated in the proton beam from the ITEP accelerator at 200 MeV with 2·10⁹–6·10¹⁰ particles in a pulse and a pulse length of 70 nsec.     

Ultrasound‐activated Knoevenagel condensation of malononitrile with carbonylic compounds catalysed by alkaline‐doped saponites

α,β‐Unsaturated nitriles have been synthesized by Knoevenagel condensation of a carbonylic compound with malononitrile, assisted by sonochemical irradiation. Two alkaline‐promoted clays (Li⁺‐ and Cs⁺‐exchanged saponites) have been employed as catalysts. The influence of the carbonylic compound (benzaldehyde or cyclohexanone) and the use of a solvent on the catalytic activity have been studied. Remarkable increase in the conversion values has been found when the reaction is activated by ultrasound, as compared with the thermal activation. In this green, solvent‐free procedure, α,β‐unsaturated nitriles have been produced in very high yields (97%) when the Cs⁺‐saponite is used as catalyst. Influence of the Temperature of a Body on Its Weight

The physical preconditions are considered for the temperature of a body to influence the force of gravity experienced by it. The results are given of experiments on weighing metal rods heated by ultrasound which confirm a dependence of the weight of the rods on their temperature.

用EGS4分析9MeV行波直线加速器屏蔽系统

采用了国际上广泛使用的ＭｏｎｔｅＣａｒｌｏ模拟计算程序ＥＧＳ４对海关集装箱检测系统用加速器屏蔽系统进行了辐射模拟分析，与实际测试数据进行分析、比较，解释了特殊剂量分布的原因，提出了系统改进的参考方案。     

银耳多糖超声波提取工艺优化及抗BV2细胞炎症的作用研究

以银耳为原料, 采用超声波辅助热水浸提法提取银耳多糖, 以多糖提取率为指标, 以超声波功率、提取料液比、提取温度和提取时间为影响因素, 设计单因素试验, 并通过正交试验得到较佳提取工艺。通过用TRPV1(Transient Receptor Potential Vanilloid1)试剂盒检测了小胶质细胞TRPV1的释放水平, 与脂多糖(Lipopolysaccharide, LPS)对照组相比, 不同质量浓度的银耳多糖组(62.5, 250, 1000 μg/mL)均能不同程度地抑制TRPV1的释放量。说明了银耳多糖对于BV2小胶质细胞炎症具有良好的抑制作用。     

Pathogenic Hydrogel? A Novel-Entrapment Neuropathy Model Induced by Ultrasound-Guided Perineural Injections

Entrapment neuropathy (EN) is a prevalent and debilitative condition caused by a complex pathogenesis that involves a chronic compression–edema–ischemia cascade and perineural adhesion that results in excessive shear stress during motion. Despite decades of research, an easily accessible and surgery-free animal model mimicking the mixed etiology is currently lacking, thus limiting our understanding of the disease and the development of effective therapies. In this proof-of-concept study, we used ultrasound-guided perineural injection of a methoxy poly(ethylene glycol)-b-Poly(lactide-co-glycoilide) carboxylic acid (mPEG-PLGA-BOX) hydrogel near the rat’s sciatic nerve to induce EN, as confirmed sonographically, electrophysiologically, and histologically. The nerve that was injected with hydrogel appeared unevenly contoured and swollen proximally with slowed nerve conduction velocities across the injected segments, thus showing the compressive features of EN. Histology showed perineural cellular infiltration, deposition of irregular collagen fibers, and a possible early demyelination process, thus indicating the existence of adhesions. The novel method provides a surgery-free and cost-effective way to establish a small-animal model of EN that has mixed compression and adhesion features, thus facilitating the additional elucidation of the pathophysiology of EN and the search for promising treatments.     

超声波处理微污染水体技术研究

考察了用超声波降解水中低浓度三氯乙腈、氯代苦味碱、溴苯的动力学，并从工程角度分析了多种污染物共存、自然水体等复杂状态下的可行性。探讨了采用空气鼓泡、不控水温的操作方式。结果表明超声波可以较快地去除复杂水体中的多种有机污染物，氧化可在批式反应器与连续流反应器中进行，高流速可以提高反应器的空间与能量利用效率。     

超声辅助提取-固相萃取净化-高效液相色谱法测定沉积物中的2甲4氯残留

[目的]2甲4氯(MCPA)是农业生产和市政管理中一种广泛使用的除草剂,具有使用量大、生物毒性强、易迁移累积于水体沉积物等特点。针对其在沉积物中潜在环境风险大的现状,一种简单、有效的残留测定方法迫切需要建立。[方法]建立了一种C18为分离色谱柱,甲醇-水(体积比80:20)为流动相,PDA为检测器,检测波长为280 nm的MCPA高效液相检测法,并比较了不同提取方法和净化方法对检测的影响。[结果]对于提取方法,回收率:超声萃取2次>超声萃取1次>涡旋振荡萃取;对于净化方法,回收率:固相萃取净化法>QuEChERS法>未净化法。因此,应采用2次超声辅助提取-固相萃取净化作为前处理方法。所建立的方法在0.5~40 mg/L范围内线性良好,检出限为0.02 mg/kg,定量限为0.06 mg/kg;在0.08~0.8 mg/kg的添加水平范围内,回收率为85.12%~98.66%,相对标准偏差为2.86%~4.24%。[结论]该方法准确性高、稳定性好,适用于沉积物中MCPA的测定。
