Refining ceramic microstructures to the nanometric range to minimize light scattering provides an interesting methodology for developing novel optical ceramic materials. In this work, we reported the fabrication and properties of a new nanocomposite optical ceramic of Gd2O3-MgO. The citric acid sol-gel combustion method was adopted to fabricate Gd2O3-MgO nanocomposites with fine-grain sizes, dense microstructures and homogeneous phase domains. Nanopowders with low agglomeration and improved sinterability can be obtained by elaborating Φ values. Further refining of the microstructure of the nanocomposites was achieved by elaborating the hot-pressing conditions. The sample sintered at 65 MPa and 1300 °C showed a quite high hardness value of 14.3 ± 0.2 GPa, a high transmittance of 80.3 %–84.7 % over the 3?6 μm wavelength range, due mainly to its extremely fine-grain size of Gd2O3 and MgO (93 and 78 nm, respectively) and high density.  相似文献

We investigated the optical and electrical properties of Ta2O5/Ag/Ta2O5 films as functions of the thicknesses of the Ta2O5 and Ag layers. It was found that with an increase in the thicknesses of the Ta2O5 and Ag layers from 10 to 40 nm and from 12 to 24 nm, respectively, the sheet resistance, carrier concentration, electron mobility, and resistivity of the Ta2O5/Ag/Ta2O5 film varied from 2.02 to 8.95 Ω/sq, 5.74 × 1021 to 2.92 × 1022 cm–3, from 13.21 to 24.07 cm2/V·s, and from 8.89 × 10-6 to 8.24 × 10-5 Ω cm, respectively. The average transmittance (Tav) of the multilayer samples ranged from 57.18% to 93.99%, and it depended on the Ta2O5 and Ag layer thicknesses. The highest Tav of 93.99% was observed for the film with 35 nm thick Ta2O5 and 18 nm thick Ag layers, and the peak Haacke's figure of merit (157.04 × 10–3 Ω–1) was obtained for 20 nm thick Ta2O5 and 21 nm thick Ag layers. Ta2O5 (100 nm) and Ta2O5/Ag/Ta2O5 (20 nm/21 nm/20 nm) samples had optical bandgaps of 4.70 and 4.45 eV, respectively. Film Wizard simulations were conducted to understand the dependence of the transmittance of the multilayer on the thicknesses of the Ta2O5 and Ag layers, and phasor analyses were performed to determine how the transmittance of the Ta2O5/Ag/Ta2O5 (20 nm/21 nm/20 nm) film depended on the Ta2O5 layer's thickness.  相似文献

The strategies for nanosol from metal alkoxide have enabled production of ultratransparent and mechanically robust polymer nanocomposites at extremely high loading. Herein, a simple approach to fabricate high‐performance polyurethane‐based nanocomposites via unmodified boehmite nanoparticles is reported. Evaluating their physical properties, the uniform dispersion of boehmite in the matrix caused nanocomposites retains ultrahigh transparency. Hydrogen bonding and intermolecular entanglement between boehmite and polyurethane brings about the mechanical properties of the nanocomposites material enhanced, i.e., strength, stiffness, and toughness. Optimized strength, stiffness, and toughness of Boehmite/Cationic waterborne polyurethane at 40 wt% (BNC40) are up to 58.1 MPa, 1096.7 MPa, 249.5 MJ m?3, respectively. Furthermore, the feasibility and mechanism of polymer strengthening and toughening by inorganic rigid nanoparticles is explored from the aspects of crystallinity and micromorphology.  相似文献

Fog formation decreases light transmission of optically clear materials. A promising approach to address this problem is to control the wetting properties of the material at extremes states, which requires imparting micro and nano morphology features on the surface. However, such features may affect the optical properties of the surface. In this work, superhydrophobic and superhydrophilic surfaces, with different morphology characteristics ranging from nanoscale to hierarchical micro-nanoscale are fabricated and evaluated in order to investigate which wetting extreme and surface morphology is more suitable to preserve the light-transmitting properties and exhibit antifogging functionalities. The performance of the aforementioned surfaces is compared for the first time in two different testing modes: under intense fog flow and no surface cooling, and under no-flow and surface cooling, which enhances dew condensation on the surfaces. It is demonstrated that superhydrophilic surfaces with nanoscale morphology maintain their optical transmittance under fog flow for more than 20 min. This duration is one of the longest reported in the literature revealing the long-term antifogging functionality of the proposed surfaces. Finally, by tailoring the morphology and the surface wetting properties, an optically switching surface (initially “milky” which becomes “clear”) when exposed to humidity is demonstrated.  相似文献

With the emergence of distributed ledger technology (DLT), numerous practitioners and researchers have proclaimed its beneficial impact on supply chain transactions in the future. However, the vast majority of DLT initiatives are discontinued after a short period. With the full potential of DLT laying far down the road, especially managers in supply chain management (SCM) seek for short-term cost-saving effects of DLT in order to achieve long-term benefits of DLT in the future. However, the extant research has bypassed grounding long-term as well as short-term effects of DLT on supply chain transaction with empirical data. We address this shortcoming, following an abductive research approach and combining empirical data from a multiple case study design with the corresponding literature. Our study reveals that the effects of DLT on supply chain transactions are two-sided. We found six effects of DLT solutions that have a cost-reducing or cost avoidance impact on supply chain transactions. In addition, we found two effects that change the power distribution between buyers and suppliers in transactions and a single effect that reduces the dependency of supply chain transactions on third parties. While cost-reducing and avoidance as well as dependency-reducing effects are positive effects, the change in power distribution might come with disadvantages. With these findings, the paper provides the first empirical evidence of the impact of DLT on supply chain transactions, which will enable managers to improve their assessment of DLT usage in supply chains.  相似文献

Perishable foods at undesired temperatures can generate foodborne illnesses that present significant societal costs. To certify refrigeration succession in a food-supply chain, a flexible, easy-to-interpret, damage-tolerant, and sensitive time-temperature indicator (TTI) that uses a self-healing nanofiber mat is devised. This mat is opaque when refrigerated due to nanofiber-induced light scattering, but becomes irreversibly transparent at room temperature through self-healing-induced interfibrillar fusion leading to the appearance of a warning sign. The mat monitors both freezer (−20 °C) and chiller (2 °C) successions and its timer is tunable over the 0.5–22.5 h range through control of the polymer composition and film thickness. The thin mat itself serves as both a temperature sensor and display; it does not require modularization, accurately measures localized or gradient heat, and functions even after crushing, cutting, and when weight-loaded in a manner that existing TTIs cannot. It also contains no drainable chemicals and is attachable to various shapes because it operates through an intrinsic physical response.  相似文献

当代景观设计中价值取向的转变,包括设计行为从创造画面转向塑造场所,从创造新事物转向重现场地本质与原貌。依据景观设计中的空间特征和规划设计应用价值,将文本视角下的当代景观空间特征“复写”(palimpsest)定义为场地中各历史层次与当代层次的结合与共同显现。复写空间利用场地的潜力,实现了景观意义的传达,具有二元性、互文性及透明性的特点。复写既可以作为分析工具,也可以作为设计手段,其核心价值在于:多层空间结构得以平等呈现;历史信息积累而显现场地特质;设计创造诱发新的发展空间与场地产生关联。结合案例论述,研究与复写相关的分析方法与设计路径:呈现自治或在场地介入过程中建立互设关系,相关设计思想可回溯到埃森曼“人工开挖”(artificial excavation)的设计理念,以及文化景观及遗产保护中的“踪迹”(trace)概念。以场地空间特征出发,选择合适的设计方法,进而提出复写空间的多层建构是设计过程的关键部分。  相似文献
