柏林:城市街道的民主与活力

柏林在1990年德国统一之后重新成为民主德国的首都,东西柏林的历史隔阂和发展失衡的问题在新柏林城必须得到弥补,柏林墙倒塌后的裂痕地带在统一柏林的建设中成为联系东西柏林的纽带,政府区、中央火车站等一系列重要的城市功能区都规划建设在这一带。整个新柏林的规划建设都充满了联邦德国的反思,历史上希特勒独裁政治的伤疤、东西德的分裂促使重新统一后的德国对政治的透明性的重视,以坦诚的姿态表达对于"民主"的尊重。不仅是政治建筑本身,新柏林公共空间的设计和管理都反映出德国当局对于民主的态度——属于公众的城市空间在政治性空间中所占的地位是什么。街道是城市中最常见的开放空间,直接为市民的通行、休闲服务,在公众城市生活中占有重要分量。文章在柏林对几个较政治化的区域的街道空间进行了考察分析,探讨柏林如何保证城市街道的民主性,让街道生活充满活力。     

Storm-Water Management Using Street Sweeping

Although street sweeping is commonly regarded as a cost-effective storm-water best management practice, there is little quantitative evidence that street sweeping directly improves runoff water quality. In this paper, several previous street sweeping studies were reevaluated using statistical power analysis. Two-group, independent-sample one-sided t-test power analyses were performed using log-transformed event mean concentrations (EMCs) of total suspended solids, suspended sediment concentration or chemical oxygen demand. The effect size between the two groups was estimated using the sweepers’ pickup efficiency, which showed that the failure to detect the difference between mean EMCs of the two sample groups (i.e., unswept and swept groups) is likely due to limited sample numbers. Too few samples, which also resulted in a high coefficient of variation, were analyzed to detect the likely difference between swept and unswept observations. In addition, the temporal gap between street sweeping and subsequent storm events was not controlled to improve statistical power.

本文从形态整合的角度分析了报福镇行政中心与旅游集散中心详细规划。规划整合报福镇老街原有的传统城镇结构肌理,突出“街巷”和“院落”,重新建构具有人文理念的空间形态,实现城镇形态上的关联耦合,复原人性化的空间尺度;建筑上通过对报福镇老建筑特色的提炼,进行创新式的继承,以现代建筑语言来抽象表达传统的地方建筑风貌。     

“有”“无”之间 仁恒观棠、棠北社区设计

文章表达建筑师面对当下中国建筑设计中追求强烈视觉效果的倾向,思考用更多富含传统建筑意境的空间处理手法来表达东方哲学中对意境的追求。通过苏州仁恒观棠社区、棠北社区的设计实践,建筑师对建筑布局、建筑院落空间、建筑街巷空间以及材料进行积极尝试,最终用建筑留白、摹画自然、自我消隐的方式诠释了传统建筑意境,用＂无＂表达了更多的＂有＂。     

旧城街道的生与死：北京旧城特色街道空间形态研究

街道是城市重要的公共空间,也是体现城市特色、城市生活的重要场所。本文通过对北京旧城街道的系统调查和研究,总结出针对特色街道空间研究的理念和方法,在此基础上对北京旧城街道进行分类和梳理,进而提出有步骤的保护和发展策略,从而激活北京旧城特色城市空间。     

使用者行为对地下商业街主观响度和声舒适度的影响

大量研究表明,除了使用者的年龄、性别等基本社会学/人口学特征之外,行为特征对主观响度和声舒适度也存在影响。该文从使用者来地下商业街的一系列行为特征入手,基于在哈尔滨的五个典型地下商业街的问卷调查,对主观响度和声舒适度进行了研究。运用多种统计方法的结果分析表明,目的、频率、停留时间分别在不同程度上影响主观响度和主观声舒适度的感受。而光顾时段的不同和同行人数的变化,对主观响度和声舒适度无影响。     

水木兴盛的江西古镇——婺源县思口镇研究

江西省婺源县思口古镇水木兴盛,历经数百年,古镇风貌仍保存完好。该文以思口镇为研究对象,通过文献查阅、实地调研,从古镇地理位置、区位环境及形成因素出发,剖析了古镇新旧并存的空间形态与街巷格局,该文重点分析了古镇现存明清古建筑历史地段,总结其建筑类型、空间格局与营造特点,并对其中具有地域性特色的徽派三雕技艺进行了研究,阐述自然环境对三雕发展的促进,揭示其地域文化特征,为今后赣地建筑的研究提供依据、参考。     

WORK Architecture Company's Diane von Furstenberg Studio,New York

In what was once the goriest part of Manhattan - the Meatpacking District on the far west side - WORKac has created a glittery collection of showrooms, studios and offices spread over four floors, sandwiched between a rooftop dwelling and a street-level flagship store within a pair of 19th-century warehouses. Jayne Merkel explains how sunlight from an angular jewel-like skylight fills the interior, which is intersected by a bejewelled, precast-concrete grand staircase, with refracted, reflected, constantly changing and relatively natural-looking light. Shape and the City

At a time when architecture's historical relationship to the city -founded on various formal and, more recently, informal homologies – has been rendered inoperative, how might a renewed architecture constructively inform the megalopolis? RE Somol flings all the formal and informal protocols offered to the city by architecture out of the pram and calls for a politics of shape, a potential trajectory tested with two projects by Zago Architecture.

该文以有机生长理论为视角,以蒲城为例,对关中小城市历史文化街区街巷空间的功能秩序、空间秩序特色和现存问题进行分析总结,从街巷系统的功能融合、城市设计、公众参与三个方面提出关中小城市历史文化街区街巷系统规划的策略,创造功能复合的街巷、形成基因健康生长的"街巷网状系统"、尊重历史和文脉,从而达到对延续关中小城市传统风貌、缝合社会生活网络的目的。
