In this research, three types of high viscosity additives with different volumes were added to both 70# base asphalt and SBS modified asphalt, the dynamic viscosity and high temperature performance tests were conducted. The results show that with the same volume and type of the additive, SBS modified asphalt has a much higher dynamic viscosity and high temperature grade than those of the base asphalt. When the volume of each additive type increases from 0% to 12%, the dynamic viscosity would increase in a different trend, which could be described as three stages with different increasing speeds, and the variability and the demarcation point of the adjacent two stages depend on the asphalt modification, additive type and the volume. With regard to the high temperature grade, it was found that the effect of different additive types on high temperature performance should be separated from asphalt modification. 相似文献

为了同时考虑沥青混合料在降温过程中温度应力的累积和松弛作用,确定临界开裂温度,对试件进行了线收缩系数试验,并利用间接拉伸试验确定其抗拉强度和蠕变柔量,由蠕变柔量和松弛模量的关系得到松弛模量的Prony系列表达式;由Boltzmann叠加原理,得到温度应力公式,计算出不同降温速率下产生的温度应力,根据低温抗拉强度曲线,确定出沥青混合料的临界开裂温度,并对结果予以验证。结果表明:该方法考虑了应力累积和松弛二者的综合作用,能够较好地反映沥青混合料的低温开裂特性,其计算结果与约束试件温度应力试验结果相近;该方法不仅适用于恒定降温速率,还适用于现场连续变速降温工况;随温度的降低或降温速率的增加沥青混合料内部温度应力累积速度加快,临界开裂温度随降温速率增加而升高。 相似文献

The paper presents the results of a series of full-scale trials carried out in Thailand examining the performance of geosynthetics as reinforcement for flexible pavements. The geosynthetics were embedded at different pavement depths and the structural response was monitored across four test sections by means of strain gauges, pressure sensors, deflection points and deflection plates. The results show that all reinforcement configurations helped reduce the vertical static stresses developed at the base of the pavement by up to 66% and by up to 72% for dynamic stresses. The performance enhancement expected to prolong the lifespan of the base layers. The reinforcement layers closer to the base experienced the highest lateral strains of up to 0.13%, providing evidence that geosynthetics can also effectively reduce lateral spreading. All reinforcement configurations helped enhance rut resistance with maximum traffic benefit ratio (TBR) of 13.70, effectiveness ratio (EF) of 12.70 and minimum rutting reduction ratio (RRR) of 0.74. The best configuration included a geotextile within the asphalt concrete layer and a geogrid under the base layer. Non-linear finite element analyses of the test sections predicted very well the strains and stresses in the pavement. The study provides a benchmark for future studies in this field and concludes that geosynthetics can help increase maintenance periods and extend the lifetime of flexible pavements. 相似文献

Carbonization experiments were conducted on four kinds of sub‐bituminous coal particles at a temperature range of 450–1200 °C. The effect of treating temperature on the grindability of produced carbonaceous materials was investigated, and its mechanism was analyzed through various means. Results show that the grindability of all coals, whether caking or slightly‐caking, exhibit the same variation trend with an increase in carbonization temperature. Moreover, the entire process can be divided into four stages. (1) After the most intense devolatilization stage, the grindability of carbonaceous material exhibited different degrees of increase compared with that of raw coal because of the development of a pore structure. (2) The first significant decrease in the grindability occurred from the plastic stage to the complete resolidification of the coal matrix. (3) After the aromatic polycondensation stage accompanied by a large amount of H2 release, the coal molecular structure became compact, such that the grindability of semi‐coke considerably decreased again. (4) At high temperatures, the coal matrix underwent graphitization, which changed semi‐coke to coke. The molecular structure of coal became ordered, and the grindability decreased again. The analysis shows that a change in the internal chemical structure of carbonaceous material has a much more pronounced effect on grindability than a change in its pore structure, except in the first stage. The constant compaction and regularization of the coal molecular structure continued happening throughout the entire process and play a decisive role in the change in grindability. 相似文献

针对钢桥面铺装工程中普遍采用的改性沥青(Stone Matrix Asphalt,SMA)、浇筑式沥青(Guss asphalt,GA)、环氧沥青(Epoxy asphalt,EP)混合料双层铺装结构,进行了循环车载作用下钢桥面与沥青混凝土铺装疲劳损伤特性理论分析与试验研究。基于疲劳损伤度,研究了钢桥面铺装疲劳损伤失效行为和疲劳开裂过程中损伤场、应力和应变场动态演变机制,推导出疲劳失效时的损伤场、应力和应变场计算表达式,并给出钢桥面铺装疲劳寿命理论公式。以三座钢箱梁桥桥面铺装(润扬长江大桥2005,南京长江三桥2005,苏通大桥2008)为例,对不同铺装结构组合方案下的复合梁进行疲劳试验分析和使用寿命理论预测。实例研究结果表明,钢桥面铺装疲劳损伤失效行为预估模型合理可行;相较于改性沥青、浇筑式沥青,环氧沥青混合料具有较强高的强度低变形能力,更适合于大跨径钢桥面铺装抗疲劳的设计要求;由环氧沥青混合料组合而成的“双层环氧沥青混凝土”和“浇注式沥青混凝土(下层)+环氧沥青混凝土(上层)”的抗疲劳性能优于其它沥青混合料铺装结构组合方案,同等厚度组合情况下疲劳使用寿命可延长1倍~2倍以上;“双层环氧沥青混凝土”已应用于润扬长江大桥、南京长江三桥和苏通长江大桥钢桥面工程,并已成功运行10年以上,其跟踪观测结果良好。 相似文献

Because of favorable mechanical properties, deformation resistance and being conducive to environmental protection, honeycomb fabricated plastic pavement slabs are highly recommended these years. At present, most studies focus on the performance of plastic materials, however, the dimension optimization of fabricated plastic pavement slab is rarely mentioned. In this paper, an optimized geometry of the honeycomb pavement slab was determined through finite element analysis. Mechanical response of honeycomb slabs with different internal dimensions and external dimensions were explored. Several dimension factors were taken into consideration including the side length, rib thickness, the thickness of both top and bottom slabs of honeycomb structure and the length, the width and the thickness of the fabricated plastic slab. The results showed that honeycomb pavement slab with 6 cm bottom slab, 12 cm top slab,18 cm side length and 6 cm rib thickness is recommended, additionally, an external dimension of 4 m × 4 m × 0.45 m is suggested. Then, the mechanical responses of this optimized fabricated plastic slab were further investigated. Significance of different influencing factors, including wheel load, elastic modulus of plastic material, base layer thickness, soil foundation modulus and base layer modulus were ranked. 相似文献
