Surprisingly, no investigation has been explored relationships between operating variables and metallurgical responses of coal column flotation (CF) circuits based on industrial databases for under operation plants. As a novel approach, this study implemented a conscious-lab “CL” for filling this gap. In this approach, for developing the CL dedicated to an industrial CF circuit, SHapley Additive exPlanations (SHAP) and extreme gradient boosting (XGBoost) were powerful unique machine learning systems for the first time considered. These explainable artificial intelligence models could effectively convert the dataset to a basis that improves human capabilities for better understanding, reasoning, and planning the unit. SHAP could provide precise multivariable correlation assessments between the CF dataset by using the Tabas Parvadeh coal plant (Kerman, Iran), and showed the importance of solid percentage and washing water on the metallurgical responses of the coal CF circuit. XGBoost could predict metallurgical responses (R-square > 0.88) based on operating variables that showed quite higher accuracy than typical modeling methods (Random Forest and support vector regression).  相似文献

This paper proposes a novel method combining Pinch Methodology and waste hydrogen recovery, aiming to minimise fresh hydrogen consumption and waste hydrogen discharge. The method of multiple-level resource Pinch Analysis is extended to the level of Total Site Hydrogen Integration by considering fresh hydrogen sources with various quality. Waste hydrogen after Total Site Integration is further regenerated. The technical feasibility and economy of the various purification approaches are considered, demonstrated with a case study of a refinery hydrogen network in a petrochemical industrial park. The results showed that fresh hydrogen usage and waste hydrogen discharge could be reduced by 21.3% and 67.6%. The hydrogen recovery ratio is 95.2%. It has significant economic benefits and a short payback period for Total Site Hydrogen Integration with waste hydrogen purification. The proposed method facilitates the reuse of waste hydrogen before the purification process that incurs an additional environmental footprint. In line with the Circular Economy principles, hydrogen resource is retained in the system as long as possible before discharge.  相似文献

The separation of light hydrocarbon mixtures (C1-C3) generated from petrochemical industry is vital and challenging process for obtaining valuable pure chemical feedstocks. In comparison to the energy intensive conventional separation technologies (cryogenic distillation, absorption and hydrogenation), the adsorptive separation is considered as a low energy cost and high efficiency process. Porous carbons have been demonstrated as excellent adsorbents for the separation of light hydrocarbons, owing to their designable structure and tailorable properties. This review summarizes the recent advances of using porous carbons as adsorbents for the separation of light hydrocarbons, including methane/nitrogen, methane/alkane, methane/carbon dioxide, ethylene/ethane and propylene/propane. We discuss the separation mechanisms and highlight the material features including pore structure, surface chemistry and target molecular properties that determine the separation performance. Furthermore, the challenges and development direction associated with carbonaceous adsorbents for light hydrocarbon separation are discussed, meanwhile the guidelines for the design of porous carbons are proposed.  相似文献

Recent years, membrane separation technology has attracted significant research attention because of the efficient and environmentally friendly operation. The selection of suitable materials to improve the membrane selectivity, permeability and other properties has become a topic of vital research relevance. Two-dimensional (2D) materials, a novel family of multifunctional materials, are widely used in membrane separation due to their unique structure and properties. In this respect, as a novel 2D material, graphitic carbon nitride (g-C3N4) have found specific attention in membrane separation. This study reviews the application of carbon nitride in gas separation membranes, pervaporation membranes, nanofiltration membranes, reverse osmosis membranes, ion exchange membranes and catalytic membranes, along with describing the separation mechanisms.  相似文献

由于常用的A-L法计算膜片弹簧载荷特性曲线存在较大误差的问题,文中分析了分离指结构对膜片弹簧载荷变形特性的影响,提出了分离指影响系数概念。利用正交试验设计,采用多元回归分析的方法,拟合得到分离指影响系数同三个转换参数的函数关系表达式。把分离指影响系数添加到碟形弹簧精确算法S-W法的计算公式中,得出了包含分离指部分影响的膜片弹簧载荷特性计算新方法。并通过试验验证了新方法计算膜片弹簧的载荷特性具有很高的精度。  相似文献

Recovering alcohols from dilute fermentation broth is an emergent task in bio-fuel production process. Since they are primary planned for fuels, energy required to separate these alcohols should be considered in evaluating the potential of a separation technology. A membrane-based process, pervaporation, is of special interest because of its environmental friendliness and easy integrating character. This review probes into the fundamentals of pervaporation especially in terms of the heat required for evaporation. Meanwhile, the separation data of the most representative alcohol-selective pervaporation membranes reported in the literatures are collected and compared with the vapor–liquid equilibrium curve, which represents the distillation selectivity. They include:inorganic membranes, silicon rubber based membranes, Mixed Matrix Membranes and some other special materials. By doing so, the status of alcohol recovery via pervaporation would be more clear for researchers.For ethanol recovery, it is selectivity rather than flux that is in urgent need of solution. While for butanol recovery,membranes with satisfactory selectivity have been developed, increasing the separation capacity would be more pressing.  相似文献

This study investigates the preparation of polyetherimide (PEI) – LaNi5 composites films for hydrogen storage. Prior to the polymer addition, LaNi5 was ball-milled at different conditions (250, 350, and 450 RPM) and annealed at 500 °C for 1 h under vacuum. The composites were produced with BM-LaNi5-350 (PEI/LaNi5-350) and annealed BM-LaNi5-350 (PEI/LaNi5-350-TT). Membranes were successfully produced through solvent casting assisted by an ultrasonic bath. The particles dispersion and the film morphology did not change after hydrogenation cycles. In the H2 sorption experiments at 43 °C and 20 bar, the films stored H2 without incubation time; both samples reached a capacity of ~0.6 wt%. The H2 sorption kinetics of PEI/LaNi5-350 was comparable to that of BM-LaNi5-350, whereas PEI/LaNi5-350-TT presented significantly slower kinetics. LaNi5 oxidation was hindered by PEI, showing that it can be explored to improve metal hydrides air resistance. The results demonstrated that PEI films filled with LaNi5 are promising materials for hydrogen storage.  相似文献

Metal–organic frameworks(MOFs) packed in the column have been a promising candidate as the stationary phase for high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC). However, the direct packing of irregular MOF powder could raise some problems like high back pressure and low column efficiency in the HPLC separation. In this work, UiO-66 capable of separating xylenes was supported effectively on the surface of the monodisperse spherical silica microspheres by one-pot method. The hybridization of Ui O-66 and silica microspheres(termed UiO-66@SiO_2 shell–core composite) was prepared by stirring the suspension of the precursors of Ui O-66 and\\COOH terminated silica in the N,N-dimethylformamide with heating. The shell–core composite material UiO66@SiO_2 was characterized by SEM, TEM, PXRD and FTIR. Then, it was used as a packing material for the chromatographic separation of xylene isomers. Xylene isomers including o-xylene, m-xylene and p-xylene were efficiently separated on the column with high resolution and good reproducibility. Moreover, the Ui O-66@SiO_2 shell–core composites packed column still remained reverse shape selectivity as Ui O-66 possessed, and the retention of xylenes was probably ascribed to the hydrophobic effect between analytes and the aromatic rings of the Ui O-66 shell. The Ui O-66@SiO_2 shell–core composites obtained in this study have some potential for the separation of structural isomers in HPLC.  相似文献

Octane and p-xylene are common components in crude gasoline, so their separation process is very important in petroleum industry. The azeotrope and near azeotrope are often separated by extractive distillation in industry, which can realize the recovery and utilization of resources. In this work, the vapor–liquid equilibrium experiment was used to obtain the vapor–liquid equilibrium properties of the difficult separation system, and on this basis, the solvent extraction mechanism was studied. The mechanism of solvent separation plays a guiding role in selecting suitable solvents for industrial separation. The interaction energy, bond length and charge density distribution of p-xylene with solvent are calculated by quantum chemistry method. The quantum chemistry calculation results and experiment results showed that N-formylmorpholine is the best solvent among the alternative solvents in the work. This work provides an effective and complete solvent screening process from phase equilibrium experiments to quantum chemical calculation. An extractive distillation simulation process with N-formylmorpholine as solvent is designed to separate octane and p-xylene. In addition, the feasibility and effectiveness of the intensified vapor recompression assisted extraction distillation are also discussed. In the extractive distillation process, the vapor recompression-assisted extraction distillation process is globally optimal. Compared with basic process, the total annual cost can be reduced by 43.2%. This study provides theoretical guidance for extractive distillation separation technology and solvent selection.  相似文献

Effective extraction and regeneration of radioactive iodide is one of urgent concerns for the safe utilization of nuclear energy. As a novel environmentally benign ion separation technique, electrochemically switched ion extraction (ESIE) process can be applied for effective capture and recovery of iodide ions (I-). Herein, a novel kelp seaweed-like core/shell I- imprinted polypyrrole@bismuth oxyiodide (PPy/I-@BiOI) composite film is successfully prepared for the selective I- capture in the ESIE system. It is found that the I- can be easily trapped in the PPy/I-@BiOI film after I- is in situ desorbed from the film by an electrochemical reduction process since it offers particular electroactive binding sites for I- extraction. The I- imprinted PPy/I-@BiOI film displays an extraction capacity as high as 325.2 mg·g-1 for I- with favorable stability. In particular, the extraction and desorption of I- is achieved by adjusting the redox potential and the pristine PPy/I-@BiOI film can be regenerated and reused for multiple times without decrease in extraction capacity. It is expected that such a PPy/I-@BiOI film would be useful as an electrochemically switched renewable extractor that could capture and regenerate I- from radioactive water.  相似文献
