Water treatment using TiO2 semiconductor as a durable heterogeneous photocatalyst has been the focus of environmentalists in recent years. Currently, we developed an inexpensive and highly efficient approach for synthesizing nitrogen-doped TiO2 with lower band-gap energy that can respond to visible light. Doping on the molecular scale led to an enhanced nitrogen concentration of up to 21.8%. Reflectance measurements showed the synthesized N-doped TiO2 nanoparticles are catalytically active with the absorbance that extends into the visible region up to 600 nm. The water purification potential of this new class of compound was evaluated by studying the photodegradation of Acid Orange 7 (AO7) and E. coli. Experiments were conducted to compare the photocatalytic activities of N-doped TiO2 nanocatalysts and commercially available Degussa P25 power under identical solar light exposure. N-doped TiO2 demonstrated superior photocatalytic activities in both chemical compound degradation and bactericidal reactions. The result of this study shows the potential of applying new generations of catalyst for wastewater purification and disinfection.  相似文献

It is well known that the system performance for an indirect-field-oriented-control induction motor drive degrades under the variation of rotor resistance and in the presence of external load torque. In this paper, a plug-in robust compensator for speed and position control enhancement of an indirect-field-oriented-control induction machine drive is developed. In the case where a controller for the induction machine already exists or is in operation with satisfactory nominal tracking performance, this plug-in compensator, designed using the H/sub /spl infin// loop-shaping techniques, can be plugged into the existing controller without affecting the already satisfactory nominal tracking performance of the existing closed-loop system but with the capability to improve the system performance under plant parameter variations and in the presence of external disturbances. Simulation and experimental results are given to validate the proposed plug-in robust compensator.  相似文献

本文报导用于异丁烯(叔丁醇)选择氧化制MAL(甲基丙烯醛)的多元复合氧化物催化剂的研究结果。同共沉淀法制备的催化剂的活性主要决定于其化学组成,同时受到制备条件的影响。最佳催化剂的主要物相组成为PbO3,Bi2MoO3.3、NiMoO4、Sb2O3及a-Fe2O3小颗粒。在355℃,1000~2500h-1空速范围,叔丁醇:水:空气=1:3.3:7(摩尔比)的条件下可获得异丁烯转化率达96%,MAL选择性达89%的结果。  相似文献

Testing the equality of proportions for correlated otolaryngologic data   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
In otolaryngologic (or ophthalmologic) studies, each subject usually contributes information for each of two ears (or eyes), and the values from the two ears (or eyes) are generally highly correlated. Statistical procedures that fail to take into account the correlation between responses from two ears could lead to incorrect results. On the other hand, asymptotic procedures that overlook small sample designs, sparse data structures, or the discrete nature of data could yield unacceptably high type I error rates even when the intraclass correlation is taken into consideration. In this article, we investigate eight procedures for testing the equality of proportions in such correlated data. These test procedures will be implemented via the asymptotic and approximate unconditional methods. Our empirical results show that tests based on the approximate unconditional method usually produce empirical type I error rates closer to the pre-chosen nominal level than their asymptotic tests. Amongst these, the approximate unconditional score test performs satisfactorily in general situations and is hence recommended. A data set from an otolaryngologic study is used to illustrate our proposed methods.  相似文献

In (J. Comput. Phys. 229: 8105–8129, 2010), Li and Qiu investigated the hybrid weighted essentially non-oscillatory (WENO) schemes with different indicators for Euler equations of gas dynamics. In this continuation paper, we extend the method to solve the one- and two-dimensional shallow water equations with source term due to the non-flat bottom topography, with a goal of obtaining the same advantages of the schemes for the Euler equations, such as the saving computational cost, essentially non-oscillatory property for general solution with discontinuities, and the sharp shock transition. Extensive simulations in one- and two-dimensions are provided to illustrate the behavior of this procedure.  相似文献

本文整理出巴米扬山谷遗址群的年代学证据,旨在重现大佛的历史与图像地位。首先介绍了巴米扬山谷遗址群的研究方法和年代阶段,接着讨论玄奘所见所录的大佛的原始配置,最后将三尊佛像放入其原始的图像志语境中去考查,认为涅檗像原应位于38米大佛和55米大佛之间。后者为宝装焰肩佛,其神格应为燃灯佛;38米大佛为释迦佛。而巡礼者所遵循的应是燃灯佛-释迦佛-涅粲佛-弥勒佛的绕拜顺序。  相似文献

One-dimensional (1D) ZnO microwires were successfully synthesized by chemical vapor deposition and their structural and morphological properties were analyzed by X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy, demonstrating that the microwires were single crystalline with perfect hexagonal structure and smooth surface. Using these 1D microstructures, we fabricated a novel ZnO-based ethanol gas sensor. Operating at room temperature, the sensor was found to have good sensing characteristics. The reliability and stability of the sensor could be improved by connecting multiple 1-wire devices (1-WD) in parallel into a multi-wires device. In interior natural lighting environment and under 3 V bias, the response and recovery time of the 1-WD to 200 ppm ethanol gas were <10 s and about 300 s, respectively, and the minimum and maximum detection limit were about 2 and 200 ppm, respectively. A sensing model was proposed for discussing the performance of the sensor. The simplicity in fabrication, low power consumption and low cost make the sensor suitable for practical application in many fields, especially in identifying driving under the influence and chemical industry monitoring.  相似文献
