Crowdwork platform governance toward organizational value creation

Crowdwork, a new form of digitally mediated employment and part of the so-called gig economy, has the capacity to change the nature of work organization and to provide strategic value to workers, job providers, and intermediary platform owners. However, because crowdwork is temporary, large-scale, distributed, and mediated, its governance remains a challenge that often casts a shadow over its strategic value. The objective of this paper is to shed light on the making of value-adding crowdwork arrangements. Specifically, the paper explores crowdwork platform governance mechanisms and the relationships between these mechanisms and organizational value creation. Building on a comprehensive review of the extant literature on governance and crowdwork, we construct an overarching conceptual model that integrates control system and coordination system as two complementary mechanisms that drive crowdwork platform governance effectiveness and the consequent job provider benefits. Furthermore, the model accentuates the role of the degree of centralization and the degree of routinization as critical moderators in crowdwork platform governance. Overall, the paper highlights the potential of crowdwork to contribute not only to inclusion, fair wages and flexible work arrangements for workers but also to organizations’ value and competitive edge.     

Topography‐Induced Cell Self‐Organization from Simple to Complex Aggregates

Self‐organization is a fundamental and indispensable process in a living system. To understand cell behavior in vivo such as tumorigenesis, 3D cellular aggregates, instead of 2D cellular sheets, have been employed as a vivid in vitro model for self‐organization. However, most focus on the macroscale wetting and fusion of cellular aggregates. In this study, it is reported that self‐organization of cells from simple to complex aggregates can be induced by multiscale topography through confined templates at the macroscale and cell interactions at the nanoscale. On the one hand, macroscale templates are beneficial for the organization of individual cells into simple and complex cellular aggregates with various shapes. On the other hand, the realization of these macro‐organizations also depends on cell interactions at the nanoscale, as demonstrated by the intimate contact between nanoscale pseudopodia stretched by adjacent frontier cells, much like holding hands and by the variation in the intermolecular interactions based on E‐cadherin. Therefore, these findings may be very meaningful for clarifying the organizational mechanism of tumor development, tissue engineering and regenerative medicine.     

厚煤层掘锚一体机快速成巷技术工艺研究

为了解决厚煤层顺槽巷道单进水平低、成巷速度慢的问题,以高河能源E2311工作面胶带顺槽掘进施工为背景,分析了JOY-12CM30型掘锚一体机在不同地质条件下的掘巷施工工艺,并确定了巷道支护参数及劳动组织方式。经现场试验,巷道掘进效率提高133.3%,矿井采掘衔接紧张局面得到缓解。     

初创型团队异质性与团队创新的关系:基于团队外部知识网络的视角

目的探索基于团队外部知识网络视角来考察年龄异质性和专业异质性对初创型异质性团队创新的作用。方法采用问卷调查的方法。对102个初创型团队进行调查。结果在初创型团队中,年龄异质性和专业异质性均能提升团队创新,外部知识网络利用强度和广度在年龄异质性促进团队创新的过程中承担中介作用,外部知识网络利用强度在专业异质性促进团队创新的过程中承担中介作用。结论在初创型团队中,年龄异质性通过提升外部知识网络利用促进团队创新,专业异质性通过提升外部知识网络利用强度促进团队创新。     

可视化远程控制（无人）转载系统的研究

针对井下巷道内快速机械化进行采掘物料转载、装料等操作困难的问题，分析了实际工况的要求，设计了一种采用带可视化系统、能够远程操控、现场无人值守工作方式、液压为驱动力的井下巷道转载系统。经过现场验证，该系统解决了大方量物料在井下巷道内转载、装料的问题，从而节约传统的人工岗位，提高了工作效率，增强了工作中的可靠安全性。     

许厂煤矿岩巷快速掘进试验研究

目前,岩石巷道掘进水平普遍偏低,严重影响了煤矿接续生产。针对制约许厂煤矿快速掘进的主要因素,根据现有装备和人员条件,改变原有“两掘一喷”作业方式为“三掘三喷”,同时对原有爆破参数进行优化并加强劳动组织管理,最终达到提高月进尺的目的。
