Human activity recognition is a challenging problem of computer vision and it has different emerging applications. The task of recognizing human activities from video sequence exhibits more challenges because of its highly variable nature and requirement of real time processing of data. This paper proposes a combination of features in a multiresolution framework for human activity recognition. We exploit multiresolution analysis through Daubechies complex wavelet transform (DCxWT). We combine Local binary pattern (LBP) with Zernike moment (ZM) at multiple resolutions of Daubechies complex wavelet decomposition. First, LBP coefficients of DCxWT coefficients of image frames are computed to extract texture features of image, then ZM of these LBP coefficients are computed to extract the shape feature from texture feature for construction of final feature vector. The Multi-class support vector machine classifier is used for classifying the recognized human activities. The proposed method has been tested on various standard publicly available datasets. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method works well for multiview human activities as well as performs better than some of the other state-of-the-art methods in terms of different quantitative performance measures.

To achieve the stable dispersion of 1D van der Waals crystal Mo6S3I6 in aqueous media, the tri-block copolymer (Poloxamer) is used as dispersant. The head group of Poloxamer, hydrophobic polypropylene oxide parts can be adsorbed to Mo6S3I6 surface by hydrophobic interaction and the tail group with hydrophilic polyethylene oxide exposed to the outside of the Mo6S3I6 is soluble in water and can form sufficient steric hindrance, resulting in stable aqueous dispersion in nm scale. The excellent biocompatibility of aqueous dispersed nm scale 1D Mo6S3I6 was demonstrated by effective proliferation of C2C12 cells.  相似文献

Silica-capped Zinc Sulfide (ZnS) nanoparticles were synthesized for the use as stable and long-term antibacterial agents because silica is a very important component in food packaging applications for moisture absorption in tune with its property of biocompatibility and water solubility. The variation in morphological and optical properties of core-shell nanostructures was studied by changing the concentration of silica in a core-shell combination. The structural and morphological properties of silica-capped ZnS have been observed by powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD) and transmission electron microscopic (TEM) studies, respectively. Uncapped ZnS nanoparticles with particle size of 2-4 nm in a highly agglomerated state have been observed from TEM, which shows that they can be used only for short-term antibacterial action despite its excellent zone of inhibition (antibiotic sensitivity). However, ZnS/SiO2 core-shell nanostructures are highly monodisperse in nature and the particle size increases up to 5-8 nm with increase in silica concentration. Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) analysis confirms the formation of silica capping on the ZnS surface. The inhibition of defect-related emission by silica capping in energy-resolved photoluminescence studies also shows the formation of very stable ZnS nanoparticles. To study the antibacterial properties of the pure and silica-capped ZnS nanostructure the agar-well diffusion method was employed against both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. The obtained results indicate that pure ZnS shows excellent antibacterial action but it can last only for few days.  相似文献

Maintaining a vacuum between the two glasses to maximize the heat insulating performance, it is indispensable to array the pillar for the vacuum glazing to maintain the vacuum gap. In this paper, to investigate the effect of the spacing of the pillars arranged using the screen printing method on the strength of the glass, a bending strength test was carried out by design and fabricating a ROR bending strength test jig based on the Euro standard. In the strength test results, the experimental results were analyzed using the Weibull distribution, which is a statistical analysis method mainly used for evaluating the breaking strength of brittle material. Based on the analysis results, the placement spacing of the pillars proved validity for maintaining the vacuum glass gaps.  相似文献

A systematic study focusing on the effect of Niobium (Nb) doping on the structural, magnetic and magnetocaloric properties of Ba2FeMoO6 samples is presented here. The samples of interest Ba2FeMo1?xNbxO6 (0 ≤ x ≤ 0.4) were prepared using the solid state reaction method and were confirmed to possess a cubic structure with Fm-3m space group using the X-ray diffraction analysis and Rietveld refinement. A second order of ferromagnetic phase transition was recorded in both the pure as well as the Nb doped samples using the temperature dependent magnetization and Arrott plots analysis. The pristine Ba2FeMoO6 (BFMO) sample indicated a spontaneous magnetization (34.6 emu/g at 100 K) with a relatively sharp magnetic transition at the Curie temperature (TC) of 315 K as compared to the doped samples. A magnetic entropy change of 0.93 Jkg?1K?1 at an applied magnetic field of 2.5 T was measured for the pure BFMO sample. The doped BFMO samples with Mo partially substituted by Nb however, were observed to effectively modify the TC accompanied by a decrease in magnetization. The results investigated in this work suggest that the magnetic and magnetocaloric properties of the BFMO can be tailored by controlled Nb doping which is of significant importance in order to realize the numerous potential applications of the material in the magnetic refrigeration technology.  相似文献

Silicon nitride (Si3N4) films have received great attention not only as dielectric materials for the gate dielectric of transistors and the insulator of capacitors, but also as a buffer layer and etch-stop layer for the semiconductor industry. As the applications of Si3N4 film increase, the necessity of investigating a novel deposition process applicable at low temperature has emerged. In this regard, the plasma-enhanced atomic layer deposition (PEALD) technique is attractive as a promising process; however, the Si3N4 film deposition process at growth temperatures less than 150?°C using PEALD has not been investigated. In this work, the growth behavior and chemistry of SiNx (x?<?1.33) film deposited by the PEALD process at various growth temperatures were developed. Insufficient thermal energy from low growth temperature induces an unstable chemical state of deposited film due to the remaining unreacted ligand of adsorbed precursors. This state results in a further chemical reaction to SiO2 formation by air exposure. Other chemical effects depending on chemical composition and electrical property were also examined in detail.  相似文献
