Optimization by record dynamics

Large dynamical changes in thermalizing glassy systems are triggered by trajectories crossing record sized barriers, a behavior revealing the presence of a hierarchical structure in configuration space. The observation is here turned into a novel local search optimization algorithm dubbed record dynamics optimization, or RDO. RDO uses the Metropolis rule to accept or reject candidate solutions depending on the value of a parameter akin to the temperature and minimizes the cost function of the problem at hand through cycles where its ‘temperature’ is raised and subsequently decreased in order to expediently generate record high (and low) values of the cost function. Below, RDO is introduced and then tested by searching for the ground state of the Edwards–Anderson spin-glass model, in two and three spatial dimensions. A popular and highly efficient optimization algorithm, parallel tempering (PT), is applied to the same problem as a benchmark. RDO and PT turn out to produce solutions of similar quality for similar numerical effort, but RDO is simpler to program and additionally yields geometrical information on the system’s configuration space which is of interest in many applications. In particular, the effectiveness of RDO strongly indicates the presence of the above mentioned hierarchically organized configuration space, with metastable regions indexed by the cost (or energy) of the transition states connecting them.

基于Microsoft SQL Server 2000以及C/S模式的系统体系结构,对篮球比赛记分控制系统的软硬件进行了总体方案设计,并对设计开发的系统进行了运行测试,测试结果表明,该系统实现了单赛区比赛数据在局域网内传输,以及数据存储、共享、检索、报表等基本的操作功能,提高了篮球比赛信息管理的效率和水平。

The course of overlay welding technology qualification using welding procedure test according to the PN-EN ISO 15614-7 specifications is described. How the preliminary welding procedure specification (pWPS) should be prepared is clarified and the type of test pieces as well as the type of tests that should be carried out after overlay welding are presented. The criteria to be met by test pieces so that the welding procedure may be qualified as acceptable are discussed. The qualification range and the details of the welding procedure qualification record (WPQR) also presented. Numerous examples of overlay welding procedure qualification tests, carried out at the Welding Institute are described.     

Metacognitive control over the distribution of practice: When is spacing preferred?

The authors clarify the source of a conflict between previous findings related to metacognitive control over the distribution of practice. In a study by L. Son (2004), learners were initially presented pairs of Graduate Record Examination (GRE) vocabulary words and their common synonyms for 1 s, after which they chose to study the pair again immediately (massed practice), later (spaced practice), or not at all (done). Learners chose spaced practice less as pair difficulty increased. A. S. Benjamin and R. D. Bird (2006), using different materials and procedures and a longer presentation duration (5 s), concluded just the opposite. The authors adopted Son’s materials and procedures and replicated her findings with a 1-s stimulus duration. However, the declining choice of spacing as item difficulty increased largely reflected learners’ failure to fully perceive items with brief presentations. With longer presentations, ensuring full perception, the choice of spaced practice increased with greater pair difficulty, in agreement with Benjamin and Bird. 浙江省数字医院系统建设的现状及其发展

笔者对浙江省已建成的200多家医院进行了智能化建设的基础调查，并在此基础上阐述了数字医院系统的设计理念、组成以及建设中存在的问题。     

基于虚拟磁盘的携带型操作系统加密方案

针对移动硬盘的加密系统分区无法被正确辨识而导致误格式化的问题,应用文件系统过滤驱动技术,结合硬盘主引导程序及分区表机理,对现有的基于虚拟磁盘的移动硬盘加解密方案进行了改进,在加密分区包含可运行操作系统的情况下,增加了盘符自动隐藏及恢复的功能。以开源加密软件Truecrypt为例,利用安装了视窗操作系统的固态移动硬盘进行测试。结果表明,在不影响加密操作系统正常运行的同时,盘符自动隐藏及恢复功能避免了用户的误格式化操作,从而提高了移动硬盘加密系统分区的安全性和隐蔽性。     

关于VLOOKUP()函数教学方法的探讨

针对性地教学能收到很好的学习效果.基于大部分不了解VLOOKUP()函数学生的好奇心心理,结合多年教学经验,提出了引入案例分析,辅助VLOOKUP()函数应用的教学方法:(1)角色换位,确定教学方向;(2)案例分析,激发学生兴趣;(3)抛砖引玉,推出VLOOKUP()函数教学;(4)竞赛练习,巩固教学知识.

该文阐述了<左传>关于春秋时期的建筑记述.以翔实的事实说明当代建筑史学家认为古代统治阶级崇尚俭德,反对奢侈的观点,是符合实际的;而古代历史对建筑的记载,或不美其事;或不详其实的说法,却是言过其实的.     

多媒体教学中电视卡和视频的应用与实践

我所在的是一高职院校,比较注重对学生实践和动手能力的培养,在计算机专业教学中,《多媒体技术与应用》课程有一部分关于电视卡和数据压缩技术的介绍,但内容相对来说比较简单,而且实践的安排基本没有。而随着电脑的普及和电视卡价格的下降,电视卡的功能和应用越来越引起了学生们的关注和兴趣,所以在教学中适当增加这部分内容的讲解及实践既满足了学生的要求,保存下来的电视材料又为后面做视频处理做了很好的素材准备工作,而且为了保存这些庞大的视频文件,也为数据压缩技术的知识与实践提供了条件,使得以前这些枯燥乏味的知识变得丰富多彩起来。当然这些知识在实际生活中也是非常有用和有趣的。
