Quadrature spatial modulation (QSM) utilizes the in‐phase and quadrature spatial dimensions to transmit the real and imaginary parts of a single signal symbol, respectively. The improved QSM (IQSM) transmits two signal symbols per channel use through a combination of two antennas for each of the real and imaginary parts. The main contributions of this study can be summarized as follows. First, we derive an upper bound for the error performance of the IQSM. We then design constellation sets that minimize the error performance of the IQSM for several system configurations. Second, we propose a double QSM (DQSM) that transmits the real and imaginary parts of two signal symbols through any available transmit antennas. Finally, we propose a parallel IQSM (PIQSM) that splits the antenna set into equal subsets and performs IQSM within each subset using the same two signal symbols. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed constellations significantly outperform conventional constellations. Additionally, DQSM and PIQSM provide a performance similar to that of IQSM while requiring a smaller number of transmit antennas and outperform IQSM with the same number of transmit antennas.  相似文献

针对星座图的射频(RF)指纹识别方案中,低信噪比环境下识别准确率低的问题,提出一种基于欧式距离与幅度距离的二维识别算法来进行RF指纹识别。该方案通过对星座图进行优化处理,可从优化后的星座图中提取识别性能更好的RF指纹,再通过二维识别算法来提高识别准确率。仿真结果表明:与仅用欧式距离作为判断依据的方法相比,所提出的二维识别算法的识别准确率最高可提升8%,在设备容量为50组的情况下识别准确率为77.8%,并且从优化后的星座图中所提取的RF指纹具有更好的唯一性和稳定性。  相似文献

单纯依靠北斗导航系统提供定位导航授时服务,存在卫星信号落地功率低、易受遮蔽和阻断的不足。针对此问题,研究了一种北斗联合低轨星座实现导航增强的系统架构;提出了一种新的适应严重遮蔽或干扰条件下,基于到达时间(TOA)和到达频率(FOA)联合观测的定位解算算法;对高中低轨混合星座条件下的覆盖特性和精度衰减因子进行了仿真分析。分析结果表明,用户可见星数平均增加了64.2%,位置精度衰减因子(PDOP)平均改善了28.7%。研究结果可为下一代北斗的论证设计与研制建设提供参考借鉴。  相似文献

Channels' correlation has direct impact to degrade the capacity and reliability of multiple‐input multiple‐output (MIMO) systems considerably. In this paper, new signal constellation designs are investigated to mitigate fading correlation and maximize the capacity and error performance of multiuser MIMO (MU‐MIMO) over correlated channels, which is a major research challenge. Two methods are studied in a novel constellation constrained MU‐MIMO approach, namely, unequal power allocation and rotated constellation. Based on principles of maximizing the minimum Euclidean distance (dmin) of composite received signals, users' data can be recovered using maximum likelihood joint detection irrespective of correlation values. Compared with the identical constellation scenario in conventional MU‐MIMO, it is shown that constellation rearrangement of transmitted signals has direct impact to resolve the detection ambiguity when the channel difference is not sufficient, particularly in moderate to high correlations. Extensive analysis and simulation results demonstrate the superiority of proposed technique to capture most of the promised gains of multiantenna systems and application for future wireless communications. ABSTRACT

For academic design programmes and research councils, finding mechanisms to measure impact and valuate co-design research projects is very difficult. The metric parameters – number of attendees, volume, shape, length – have shown to be insufficient. The subject matter, the subjects and matters, do not easily fit within these parameters, which fail to translate the value of a ‘constellation of affections’ that emerge throughout co-design processes. Emphasis on quantifiable impact derives from particular ways of understanding production, reproduction, and dissemination of knowledge. This paper understands academic design programmes as a technology to discuss axiology in co-design practices. This paper re-configures a techno-logic of value; from chain of value to value constellation, intersecting a co-design case study with readings of Simondon’s philosophy of technology and Barad’s agential realism. Ageing Playfully was a knowledge exchange project from The Creative Exchange programme, that involved people living with dementia and their caregivers co-designing interventions to boost mobility and well-being. At the core, this paper, explores an axiological move that informs a framework of emergence, a way of thinking in methods to account for the value of co-design as site of emergence.  相似文献

A spectrally‐efficient scheme is proposed for orthogonal decode‐and‐forward relaying. By utilizing constellation rotation, the scheme can achieve twice the spectral efficiency as that of the conventional one, with low implementation complexity. It can offer a full diversity order as well, whereas the loss in coding gain is less than 1 dB for practical environments.  相似文献

In this paper performance of modulation diversity with multiple-input multiple-output transmission is studied over flat Nakagami-m fading channels with arbitrary fading parameter m. In the system, orthogonal space-time block coding and maximal ratio combining like combiner are used for transmission and reception, respectively. Exact pairwise error probability expression is derived to observe performance of the system. Moreover, in order to obtain the diversity order of the system, asymptotic pairwise error probability expression is also derived. Optimum rotation angles are analytically obtained for binary and quadrature phase shift keying modulations. Theoretical results are validated by Monte Carlo simulations.  相似文献
