From sustainability to sustainizability

Following the recent introduction of the Sustainability over Sets (SOS) concept as a sustainability analysis tool with broad flexibility in incorporating human input, in this work, the concepts of Sustainizability (SIZ) and Sustainizability over Sets (SIZOS) are introduced, as novel frameworks for sustainable system synthesis. Springing off the conceptual foundation of sustainability, SIZ (and SIZOS) refers to the existence of allowable external actions, and/or design changes that can render sustainable (sustainable over a set) an unsustainable (unsustainable over a set) system. Utilizing earlier mathematical results for SOS, rigorous necessary and sufficient conditions for SIZOS are presented. Two case studies, on a two-dimensional biological waste treatment system, and a three-dimensional food chain system, are then presented to illustrate the developed necessary and sufficient conditions for SIZOS.     

基于间隔理论的过采样集成算法

针对传统集成算法不适用于不平衡数据分类的问题，提出基于间隔理论的AdaBoost算法（MOSBoost）。首先通过预训练得到原始样本的间隔；然后依据间隔排序对少类样本进行启发式复制，从而形成新的平衡样本集；最后将平衡样本集输入AdaBoost算法进行训练以得到最终集成分类器。在UCI数据集上进行测试实验，利用F-measure和G-mean两个准则对MOSBoost、AdaBoost、随机过采样AdaBoost（ROSBoost）和随机降采样AdaBoost（RDSBoost）四种算法进行评价。实验结果表明，MOSBoost算法分类性能优于其他三种算法，其中，相对于AdaBoost算法，MOSBoost算法在F-measure和G-mean准则下分别提升了8.4%和6.2%。     

DP980高强钢连续退火后的组织与性能

研究了不同工艺参数对980 MPa级连续退火双相钢组织及力学性能的影响,利用光学显微镜、透射电镜(TEM)以及拉伸试验对双相钢的微观组织和力学性能进行测试及分析。结果表明:DP980钢的退火组织主要由铁素体、马氏体岛和少量的贝氏体组成,马氏体岛附近的位错密度较高。随着均热温度的升高,DP980钢的抗拉强度呈现先降低后升高的趋势,屈服强度与抗拉强度的趋势一致,伸长率先升高后降低。随着过时效温度的升高,DP980钢的抗拉强度和屈服强度降低,降低幅度较小,伸长率上升,但变化不明显,说明通过调整过时效温度来调控其力学性能的作用较小。     

基于翻领松量结构模型的翻折领结构设计方法

为解决翻领松量计算精准性及翻折领通用结构设计方法的问题,提出了一种基于翻领松量结构模型的翻折领结构设计方法。通过构建翻领松量结构模型确定了翻领松量计算系数,对6种不同状态下的翻领间隙量变化进行数据统计分析,依据翻领间隙回归系数模型确定了翻领松量计算给定常数,运用SPSS统计软件对实验数据进行了相关性分析、回归分析、配对样本T检验,并推导出翻领松量计算公式。实验结果表明:使用该公式计算的翻领松量提高了翻折领结构造型的准确性,基于翻领松量结构模型的翻折领结构设计方法可以满足不同翻折领领型结构设计要求。     

Fox Hunting in Wild Apples: Searching for Novel Genes in Malus Sieversii

Malus sieversii is considered the progenitor of modern apple (Malus pumila) cultivars and to represent a valuable source of genetic diversity. Despite the importance of M. sieversii as a source of disease resistance, stress tolerance, and novel fruit traits, little is known about gene function and diversity in M. sieversii. Notably, a publicly annotated genome sequence for this species is not available. In the current study, the FOX (Full-length cDNA OvereXpressing) gene hunting system was used to construct a library of transgenic lines of Arabidopsis in which each transgenic line overexpresses a full-length gene obtained from a cDNA library of the PI619283 accession of M. sieversii. The cDNA library was constructed from mRNA obtained from bark tissues collected in late fall–early winter, a time at which many abiotic stress-adaptative genes are expressed. Over 4000 apple FOX Arabidopsis lines have been established from the pool of transgenic seeds and cDNA inserts corresponding to various Gene Ontology (GO) categories have been identified. A total of 160 inserts appear to be novel, with no or limited homology to M. pumila, Arabidopsis, or poplar. Over 1300 lines have also been screened for freezing resistance. The constructed library of transgenic lines provides a valuable genetic resource for exploring gene function and diversity in Malus sieversii. Notably, no such library of t-DNA lines currently exists for any Malus species.     

Analysis of Radio over Fiber system for mitigating four-wave mixing effect

In this paper, an efficient 8-channel 32Gbps RoF (Radio over Fiber) system incorporating Bessel Filter (8/32 RoF-BF) has been demonstrated to reduce the impact of non-linear transmission effects, specifically Four-Wave Mixing (FWM). The simulation results indicate that the proposed 8/32 RoF-BF system provides an optimum result w.r.t. channel spacing (75 GHz), input source power (0 dBm) and number of input channels (8). In comparison with the existing RoF system, the proposed 8/32 RoF-BF system has been validated analytically and it is found that the performance of the proposed system is in close proximity particularly in FWM sideband power reduction of the order of 4 dBm for the 8-channel 32Gbps RoF system.     

电网中性点经消弧线圈串联电阻接地方式的研究

文章对电网中性点经消弧线圈串联电阻与并联电阻接地方式作了电弧接地过电压仿真试验,从电网及人身安全运行的角度进行了分析。实验表明,小电阻接地与自动调谐消弧线圈相比,没有明显的优越性。另外从电磁兼容的角度看,中性点经消弧线圈串联电阻接地的故障电流很小,使电磁干扰受到了有力的扼制。     

罗克休泡沫在煤矿采空区漏风治理中的应用

本文对罗克休泡沫的性能、应用范围、作用、技术优点进行了简述，探讨了施工工艺、施工设备及注意事项，并利用罗克休泡沫在成庄矿对工作面进回风隅角空间进行充填，开展了试验研究。结果表明，罗克休泡沫在成庄矿采空区漏风治理中取得了较好效果。
