Mechanical vibrations seem to affect the behaviour of different cell types and the functions of different organs. Pressure waves, including acoustic waves (sounds), could affect cytoskeletal molecules via coherent changes in their spatial organization and mechano-transduction signalling. We analyzed the sounds spectra and their fractal features. Cardiac muscle HL1 cells were exposed to different sounds, were stained for cytoskeletal markers (phalloidin, beta-actin, alpha-tubulin, alpha-actinin-1), and studied with multifractal analysis (using FracLac for ImageJ). A single cell was live-imaged and its dynamic contractility changes in response to each different sound were analysed (using Musclemotion for ImageJ). Different sound stimuli seem to influence the contractility and the spatial organization of HL1 cells, resulting in a different localization and fluorescence emission of cytoskeletal proteins. Since the cellular behaviour seems to correlate with the fractal structure of the sound used, we speculate that it can influence the cells by virtue of the different sound waves’ geometric properties that we have photographed and filmed. A theoretical physical model is proposed to explain our results, based on the coherent molecular dynamics. Hydrodynamics characteristics of a fast and highly exothermic liquid–liquid oxidation process with in situ gas production in microreactors were studied using a newly developed experimental method. In the adipic acid synthesis through the K/A oil (the mixture of cyclohexanol and cyclohexanone) oxidation with nitric acid, bubble generation modes were divided into four categories. The gas production became more intensive, unstable, even explosive with increasing the oil phase feed rate and the temperature. A novel automatic image processing method was developed to monitor the instantaneous velocity online by tracking the gas–liquid interface. The axial velocity at the same location was unstable due to the changing gas production rate. Furthermore, the actual residence time was obtained easily with being only 36% of the space–time minimally, beneficial for establishing accurate kinetics and mass transfer models with time participation. Finally, an empirical correlation was developed to predict the actual residence time under different conditions. 相似文献

A consecutive competitive gas-liquid reaction is investigated using a Taylor bubble setup regarding the influence of fluid mixing in the bubble wake on yield and selectivity. The concentration fields behind a Taylor bubble are visualized and measured quantitatively with a novel time-resolved absorption imaging technique based on Beer Lamberts law and an integral selectivity is derived. In addition, the calculation of the local selectivity, often used in numerical approaches, is discussed and the existing experimental limits for its derivation are pointed out. Finally, an increase in selectivity of a competitive consecutive reaction for enhanced mixing is experimentally confirmed. 相似文献

目前对于汽车风振噪声的优化研究主要以声压级(Sound pressure level,SPL)作为单一评价指标,既不能全面反映噪声的物理属性,也无法考虑人耳对噪声的主观认知过程。为准确评价风振噪声,引入声品质,运用大涡模拟(Large eddy simulation,LES)对风振噪声进行数值仿真,根据实车道路试验判断仿真的准确性;对仿真结果进行声品质客观评价与主观评价,综合声品质客观评价参数与声品质主观评价试验结果建立BP神经网络预测模型;利用遗传算法(Genetic algorithm,GA),进一步对BP神经网络的结构参数进行优化,建立GA-BP声品质预测模型。研究结果表明,GA-BP声品质预测模型在训练速度和预测精度上都优于BP神经网络预测模型。预测模型基于声品质主客观评价结果,其预测值可以代替传统的声压级评价指标,为风振噪声提供更为准确合理的评价。 相似文献

Preparation and growth mechanism of anodization of Ti and Al has been widely concerned for two decades, but the research on anodic ZrO2 is relatively lacking. In this paper, anodic TiO2 and ZrO2 nanotubes were prepared in glycerol electrolyte containing 0.35 M NH4F and 4 vol% H2O under different anodizing voltages. We had successfully prepared the anodic ZrO2 nanotubes (AZNTs) with a complete top and a “bulb” at the bottom under 60 V, and with the increase of the applied anodizing voltage, the “bulb” cavity also increased. However, under the same anodizing conditions, the surface of anodic TiO2 nanotubes (ATNTs) is a cluster of nano-tip morphology, and the bottom of the ATNTs is a conventional hemisphere shape. In addition, both AZNTs and porous anodic zirconia (PAZ) were found to coexist in the anodic ZrO2 layer prepared at 60 V. Here, we used the oxygen bubble model and ionic current and electronic current theories to analyze the reason of the special morphology. Microalgae is promising to be used as feedstock resources for hydrogen production due to its high oil and grease contents. This promotes the development of extraction technology of microalgae oil. In this study, based on the Rayleigh-Plesset equation, the effects of temperature, pressure, ultrasonic power and frequency on the bubble motion of ethanol ultrasound cavitation are investigated. Subsequently, the effects of different process parameters on the extraction rate are studied using Schizochytrium sp. as raw material by stirring or ultrasonic-assisted extraction. And the composition of algae extraction oil is analyzed. The results show that the amplitude of cavitation bubbles increases with the increase of ultrasonic power and decrease of ultrasonic frequency. The extraction rate of algae oil reaches 93.76 ± 0.48% when the ultrasonic power is 150 W, the reaction time is 30 min, the temperature is 50 °C and the liquid-solid ratio is 10:1. 相似文献

We report on glycerol electro-oxidation in alkaline medium at macroporous Ni electrodes decorated with Cu particles. Macroporous Ni film is electrodeposited, using hydrogen bubbles as dynamic templates, atop of a Cu substrate. This film shows good electrocatalytic activity towards glycerol oxidation reaction (GOR). The Ni film is further decorated with Cu via spontaneous deposition from CuSO4 solution. This is done to enhance the catalytic activity of the film towards GOR. The morphology of the Cu-decorated Ni film is controlled using various additives such as KCl and (NH4)2SO4 which are added to the Cu deposition bath. The as-prepared Cu-decorated Ni films are characterized by electrochemical measurements, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS), X-ray diffraction (XRD), and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). It is found that these additives have tremendous effects on the morphology and the electrocatalytic activity of the decorating Cu particles.The decorated Ni foam showed superior electrocatalytic activity towards the GOR, as confirmed by the negative shift in the onset oxidation potential (ca. 100 mV) together with an increase in oxidation current that is up to 1.5-fold during the cyclic voltammetry (CV) measurements, compared to the undecorated Ni foam. 相似文献

气溶胶池洗过滤是反应堆严重事故中去除放射性源项的重要手段。本文以严重事故条件下上升气泡中气溶胶的滞留过程为背景,设计搭建了可视化单气泡鼓泡实验装置。通过该装置研究了气溶胶在上升气泡中的沉降效率,并与MELCOR中的气溶胶沉降模型计算结果进行了对比。结果表明,气溶胶沉降效率对气泡尺寸的变化较为敏感,当气体流量大于0.1 L/min时,气泡等效直径迅速增加,相应的气溶胶沉降效率快速降低;与MELCOR模型计算结果的对比表明,两者在总体趋势上呈现出较好的一致性,但计算结果低估了液相对气溶胶的实际去除能力,导致这种偏差的主要原因是气泡在上升过程中存在无规则的晃动以及气液界面的波动。 相似文献

Introducing electrical conductive function to discharge local piezoelectric effect is found effective for improving airborne sound absorption performance. In this work, instead of conductive fillers, a composite with two piezoelectric materials with opposite piezoelectric responses was explored aiming at enhanced sound absorption effect. Open-cell poly(vinylidene fluoride)/(K0.5Na0.5)NbO3 (PVDF/KNN)-nanofiber composite foams were proposed and investigated for airborne sound absorption purpose. Structural and thermal analyses showed that the KNN nanofibers were well dispersed in the PVDF matrix and enhanced the degree of crystallinity of polar phase of PVDF. Significantly enhanced airborne sound absorption over a broad frequency range was observed in the PVDF/KNN-nanofiber composite foams, with increasing KNN nanofibers. One possible mechanism for the improved sound absorption with the piezoelectric KNN nanofibers with positive piezoelectric coefficient added in the PVDF matrix with negative piezoelectric coefficient is that electrical discharge could be facilitated for energy dissipation with the opposite charges generated through the piezoelectric effects in the two phases with opposite polarity. The experimental results show that the open-cell PVDF/KNN-nanofiber composite foams are promising for broadband airborne sound absorption application, and our analysis shed a light on the strategy in designing piezoelectric composite foam with high sound absorption performance. 相似文献
