Aromatic and functional polymers with processibility derived from biobased starting materials are prerequisite considering sustainable society. Poly(2,5-benzimidazole)s are rigid-rod polymers to show ultrahigh thermal stability such as flame retardance, while usually suffer from poor solubility. Here, poly(benzimidazole-co-amide)s are synthesized from two biobased monomers, 3,4-diaminobenzoic acid and a semirigid comonomer, 4-aminohydrocinnamic acid. The copolymers with an amide composition of 80 mol% and higher are soluble in widely used polar solvents to fabricate the films keeping high flame retardance, which is comparable with popular high-performance polymers such as aromatic polyimides, polyetheretherketone, polyphenylene sulfide, etc. 相似文献

当前环境问题日益突出,天然工质氨作为环保性制冷剂再次引起科学界的广泛重视。但NH3存在可燃可爆性问题,在实际应用中存在着一定的安全隐患。采用量子化学密度泛函理论计算方法,在M06-2X/6-311+G(d,p)的计算水平上,对NH3的燃烧及阻燃机理开展研究,得到反应过程的微观反应路径。研究表明,NH3可通过三种方式发生燃烧微观反应,一是发生自身裂解反应,生成H自由基;二是与氧气发生碰撞反应,生成OOH自由基;三是与活性自由基发生碰撞反应,生成新的活性自由基,NH3可与H、O、OH自由基反应,反应能垒较低。此外,还计算了两种典型的阻燃基团F和CF3对可燃分子NH3的微观阻燃路径,验证其阻燃效果。本文从微观分子的角度考察了可燃工质氨的燃烧及阻燃机理,为新一代低温室效应工质的燃烧及阻燃机制提供了参考。 相似文献

制备了晶须增韧乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯共聚物/低密度聚乙烯/氢氧化铝(EVA/PE-LD/ATH)复合材料,通过扫描电子显微镜(SEM)、热重分析仪(TG)、氧指数仪、锥形量热仪(CCT)、万能拉力机和高阻计等对添加不同晶须的EVA/PE-LD/ATH复合材料的微观结构、阻燃性能、力学性能和电学性能进行了表征。结果表明,ATH颗粒在复合材料中未出现明显团聚,复合材料中晶须呈交错分布并与基体界面结合致密;晶须对复合材料阻燃性能的提高源于晶须热解产物网络状骨架对炭层的增强作用;碱式硫酸镁晶须(MHSH)、硼酸铝晶须(ABW)和硫酸钙晶须(CSW)添加质量比为13.5∶6.75∶6.75的复合材料的800 ℃质量保留率为32.7 %,极限氧指数为26.8 %,热释放速率峰值为364.4 kW/m2,总热释放量为20.8 MJ/m2,总烟释放量为187.2 m2/m2,阻燃性能相对最优;MHSH具有降低复合材料热释放速率峰值、总烟释放量和增强复合材料拉伸强度的作用,而CSW能够延迟点燃时间,减弱出现轰燃的趋势,但增大了总烟释放量,同时,CSW还具有提高复合材料断裂伸长率的增韧作用;混合晶须对复合材料拉伸强度、邵氏硬度和电绝缘性能的影响有限。 相似文献

近年氢能已迅速成为能源领域“新宠”,正在迎来快速发展的战略机遇期,但氢安全问题仍然是制约其发展的关键,尤以高压氢气储运设施泄漏后引发喷射火灾害较为突出。为了探究高压氢气泄漏过程并对其引发喷射火灾特性参数变化进行评估,本文采用理论分析和实例验证相结合的方法对两起高压氢气泄漏实验案例(90 MPa氢气瓶和6 MPa氢气管道)进行了研究。结果表明:通过模型精度检验,Abel-Nobel气体状态方程适用于当前常用的多种高压氢气储运设施泄漏过程的描述。基于Abel-Nobel气体状态方程、火焰尺寸模型、辐射分数模型和热辐射模型构建的高压氢气泄漏喷射火过程预测模型对实验案例中的泄漏出口气体质量流量、氢喷射火焰长度和辐射热场等的模拟计算结果与实验测量数据基本一致,验证了模型有效性及所含假设合理性。另外在计算中还需要结合实际情况充分考虑高压氢气储运设施发生泄漏时产生的能量损失以及等温流动过程,从而对模型预测精度进行修正。上述结论对于工程实际、氢能安全利用以及灾害预防等具有重要现实意义。 相似文献

There is a growing demand to develop epoxy resins (EP) with smoke suppression as well as satisfactory flame retardancy. Herein, bio-based cobalt alginate is successfully fabricated and incorporated into EP to prepare EP/Cobalt Alginate composites with better fire safety performance. The addition of cobalt alginate reduces the thermal-decomposition rate, temperature at maximum weight-loss rate of EP, whereas obviously improves the thermal stabilities at a higher temperature range. Furthermore, the addition of cobalt alginate substantially reduces the fire hazard of EP, resulting in 56.2% reduction in peak heat release rate, as well as 17.8% and 56.3% reduction in total smoke production and peak smoke production rate, respectively, compared with EP matrix. Moreover, the presence of cobalt alginate increases smoke-suppressant properties, according to the smoke density test. Additionally, the incorporation of cobalt alginate has no obviously destructive effect on the mechanical properties of EP, while EP/Cobalt Alginate-3 exhibits a 27.0% improvement in impact strength. In an effort to develop highly functionalized flame retardant materials, hybrid nanocoatings are prepared by alternately depositing a positively charged polyaniline (PANi) and negatively charged montmorillonite (MMT) using the layer-by-layer (LbL) assembly technique. Carbon nanotubes (CNTs) are employed in polymer nanocomposites as effective reinforcement, where nanotubes are stabilized in MMT aqueous solution. The 3D structure and high density of CNTs deposited in the PANi/CNTs-MMT multilayers produce thicker and heavier coatings in comparison to the LbL assemblies without CNTs. Vertical and horizontal flame testing show that the incorporation of CNTs improves fire resistance. Additionally, cone calorimetry reveals that stacking two nanomaterials (MMT and CNTs) in a single coating shows a significant reduction in peak heat release rate (up to 51%), total smoke release (up to 47%), and total heat release (up to 37%) for the polyurethane foam. The enhancement of flame retardancy is attributed to a synergistic effect; MMT serves as a physical barrier that retards the diffusion of heat and gas. The addition of CNTs strengthens the thermal stability and high char yield. These results, coupled with the simplicity with which the LbL deposition is applied, present a viable alternative to halogen-free flame retardant nanocoatings to natural and synthetic fibers. 相似文献

The flame retardant polypropylene containing the micro-envelope core-shell structure flame retardant, which encapsulated ammonium polyphosphate into melamine-formaldehyde resin and sodium silicate through in situ polymerization was prepared with polyamide 6, added as a carbon-forming agent. The composition of ammonium polyphosphate, encapsulated ammonium polyphosphate with melamine-formaldehyde resin and the micro-envelope core-shell structure flame retardant were characterized. The fire safety and thermal stability were investigated and showed an improvement including limiting oxygen index, thermogravimetric analysis, vertical burning tests, and microscale combustion calorimeter. The burned compounds were also studied to confirm the burning mechanism. The results showed the flame retardant performance had been greatly improved, while polyamide 6 had better char-forming effect. Besides, the water solubility of flame retardants and their influence on the mechanical properties of polypropylene were also investigated. The results on the effects of additives demonstrated a high efficiency flame retardant to polypropylene. A core-shell flame retardant that sodium silicate and melamine-formaldehyde resin-coated ammonium polyphosphate had been constructed. The effect of the built flame retardant system on the combustion performance of polypropylene was studied from the mechanism and performance. 采用端羟基聚丁二烯(HTPB)剥离层状有机蒙脱土(OMMT)为纳米片层,并与异佛尔酮二异氰酸酯(IPDI)、二羟甲基丙酸(DMPA)等单体通过原位聚合法制备了OMMT纳米片改性的水性聚氨酯(OWPU)纳米乳液及胶膜。利用小角XRD、TEM、DLS、EDS、TGA、LOI、CONE以及SEM对样品的结构和性能进行了表征。结果表明,HTPB剥离的OMMT纳米片的衬度均匀,完整性较好;改性后OWPU的乳液粒径增大,胶膜的弹性模量、热稳定性、抗熔滴性和阻燃性能均得到明显地改善,其中弹性模量可提高59.4%,热释放速率峰值可降低36.9%;燃烧炭渣表面形貌显示,瓦片状蒙脱土相互穿插形成了具有团簇结构的蒙脱土覆盖层。 相似文献
