Abstract and Key Results
–  ▪ This paper presents an expanded version of the product cycle framework, which illustrates how the role of R&D, production and marketing activities, as a salient determinant of competitive advantage, evolves along the product cycle. The frame-work considers the implications of these changes for the internationalization of firms marketing products belonging to the different phases of the cycle.
–  ▪ The paper shows how changes in “knowledge-intensity” of products along the product cycle are interrelated with changes in “service-intensity” and “distance premium” and thus enable to predict the sequence in which low knowledge intensive and high knowledge intensive firms internationalize R&D, production and marketing activities.

Many papers have been published on R134a within the last four years, beginning from the point when it became apparent that R134a would be the favourite for replacing the most important fully halogenated refrigerant worldwide, R12. This paper summerizes the requirements for a suitable replacement for R12, the criteria leading to the selection of R134a, the developmental efforts that have been made and the results of this process. In particular, chemical properties, material compatibility and thermodynamic properties of R134a are described. Because of the different chemistry in comparison with CFC refrigerants, special requirements for suitable compressor lubricants and system cleanliness are mentioned. Finally, some explanations of installing closed pruduct cycles for CFCs and their substitutes are given.  相似文献

为提高胖轴作业效率,通过调查,首先应用价值流图技术,绘制当前状态图,分析胖轴加工过程中存在的生产计划、在制品库存、生产方式等问题,区分胖轴加工中的增值和非增值部分;然后,依据精益思想和工业工程的基本手法,提出平衡物流、合并工序、拉动生产等改善措施,绘制未来状态图作为改善的路标。实施后,胖轴批量加工时间比原来减少54%,形成均衡、拉动生产,减少了在制品库存,使生产过程大为精简。  相似文献

This paper considers the assignment of heterogeneous workers to workstations of an assembly line in order to minimise the total production time. As the structure of the system implies that each of the workstations needs at least one worker, thus the problem can be considered as a generalised assignment problem (GAP). The objective is to perform an efficient human resource planning for a specified horizon consisting of several periods. Hence, we present an extension of the generalised assignment problem, consisting of a set of GAPs (one for each planning period) in which each GAP depends on the previous ones. A mixed integer mathematical model is presented for this sequencing assignment problem. The model is solved by an exact algorithm using Gurobi solver. It is proved that the problem is NP-hard and solving the medium and large size instances is not possible by the exact algorithms. Hence, two matheuristic approaches based on the disaggregated formulation of GAP are proposed. The first approach solves the problem through two sub-problems as the transportation formulation and assignment formulation. The second approach solves the problem by decomposition of the problem into several classical GAPs. The approaches are examined by a total of 27 instances. The results illustrate the efficiency of the proposed algorithms in the computational time and accuracy of the solutions.  相似文献
