No-Reference Video Quality Assessment using novel hybrid features and two-stage hybrid regression for score level fusion

This paper presents a novel No-Reference Video Quality Assessment (NR-VQA) model that utilizes proposed 3D steerable wavelet transform-based Natural Video Statistics (NVS) features as well as human perceptual features. Additionally, we proposed a novel two-stage regression scheme that significantly improves the overall performance of quality estimation. In the first stage, transform-based NVS and human perceptual features are separately passed through the proposed hybrid regression scheme: Support Vector Regression (SVR) followed by Polynomial curve fitting. The two visual quality scores predicted from the first stage are then used as features for the similar second stage. This predicts the final quality scores of distorted videos by achieving score level fusion. Extensive experiments were conducted using five authentic and four synthetic distortion databases. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method outperforms other published state-of-the-art benchmark methods on synthetic distortion databases and is among the top performers on authentic distortion databases. 模具设计与制造专业群虚拟仿真实训基地建设路径研究

针对模具设计与制造专业群实训教学开展过程中存在的问题,开展专业群虚拟仿真实训基地的建设,通过精密模具智能制造生产线仿真实训工厂、模具数字化设计及智能成型单元综合应用平台、开放共享课程资源等3个方面内容的建设,引入行业新技术、新工艺、新标准,确保虚拟仿真教学资源与学生职业能力培养相一致。基地建设依托智能制造新技术,以培养高层次复合型技术技能人才为主线,满足实训教学为核心,多方共享为目标,助力区域经济发展,服务"鲁班工坊"国际化建设,最终实现虚拟仿真实训基地区域示范性效果。     

基于边缘和局部熵融合的视觉安全性评估方法

针对基于局部熵进行加密图像视觉安全性评估存在块效应的局限性，引入图像的边缘特征，通过共有边缘来衡量加密图像与原始图像的边缘相似度，消除了块效应。由于局部熵对加密等级低的图像不敏感，边缘相似度对加密等级高的图像不敏感，将两个评估方法进行自适应融合，提出[SLEES]（Local Entropy and Edge Similarity，[SLEES]）指标。通过改变图像像素位置和图像像素值的加密方式处理图像和视频帧进行测试，实验结果表明，[SLEES]指标相比传统评估指标有更好的鲁棒性，评估范围更广。     

基于机器视觉的机车齿轮毂全自动双轴拧紧机的设计和应用

设计了基于机器视觉的机车齿轮毂全自动双轴拧紧机,根据拧紧工艺和扭矩控制原理实现对螺栓拧紧力矩的控制;通过丝杠变径机构,实现不同规格齿轮毂螺栓拧紧;利用机器视觉实现螺栓位置的识别以及初始位置的确定;讨论了自动拧紧机控制系统的硬件组成和软件系统配置,并介绍了防错、防漏功能的设计流程。螺栓自动拧紧机可提高装配精度和操作效率,降低工人的劳动强度。

云南省澜沧老厂—孟连茶场地区成矿规律及找矿方向探讨

澜沧老厂—孟连茶场地区位于昌宁—孟连多金属成矿带，研究区域成矿规律对找矿突破有着重要指导意义。在综合分析研究地质背景、化探异常、矿产分布等特征的基础上，将该地区划分为老厂、拉巴、孟连矿（化）集区。老厂铅锌矿床是区域上的典型矿床，其在化探异常、矿床空间分布具有明显的低中高温成矿分带的特征。以该矿床分带特征入手，指出老厂矿（化）集区在地表以低温成矿元素为主，而拉巴、孟连矿（化）集区在化探异常、矿化特征均以低中温成矿元素为主，空间上分带特征不明显。该地区化探异常、矿（化）体分布特征，均表明区域上成矿温度、成矿标高由北至南均具从高到低的降低趋势，认为其可能与燕山期岩浆活动的差异性有关，指出老厂外围、拉巴深部是找矿的有利靶区。     

Deployment of a cloud pipeline for real-time visual inspection using fast streaming high-definition images

We investigate the challenges of building an end-to-end cloud pipeline for real-time intelligent visual inspection system for use in automotive manufacturing. Current methods of visual detection in automotive assembly are highly labor intensive, and thus prone to errors. An automated process is sought that can operate within the real-time constraints of the assembly line and can reduce errors. Components of the cloud pipeline include capture of a large set of high-definition images from a camera setup at the assembly location, transfer and storage of the images as needed, execution of object detection, and notification to a human operator when a fault is detected. The end-to-end execution must complete within a fixed time frame before the next car arrives in the assembly line. In this article, we report the design, development, and experimental evaluation of the tradeoffs of performance, accuracy, and scalability for a cloud system.     

Micro-irrigation development in India: an analysis of distributional pattern and potential correlates

ABSTRACT

In India, of late, micro-irrigation has received considerable policy focus. However, as of 2017, only about 10% of the potential area is under micro-irrigation. The present study analyzes the pattern and equity issues of distribution of micro-irrigation in India and identifies the potential correlates. The regression analysis reveals that the stage of groundwater development and agro-climatic differences significantly influence the spread of micro-irrigation. The relatively low spread of micro-irrigation in states with over-exploited groundwater needs attention. Overall, the study points to the need to revamp the current micro-irrigation development programmes, which focus excessively on subsidy.     

深圳抽水蓄能电站监控新技术应用研究与实践

通过对安防、工业电视和门禁等新技术的研究,设计了一套先进的监控系统,包括硬件平台、系统管理、应用软件,利用深圳抽水蓄能电站已形成的光纤网络通道把分布在方圆10 km范围内多个站端设备以环路的方式连接起来,把可靠成熟的新技术融合到整个平台。自首台机组成功投运,监控系统为电站正常运行保驾护航,高清摄像机、视觉识别、行为分析、边界防护等新技术的应用为工程项目增添了亮点,使电站现场管理更加智能化、规范化。     

基于文本与语义相关性分析的图像检索

为了更加有效地检索到符合用户复杂语义需求的图像，提出一种基于文本描述与语义相关性分析的图像检索算法。该方法将图像检索分为两步：基于文本语义相关性分析的图像检索和基于SIFT特征的相似图像扩展检索。根据自然语言处理技术分析得到用户文本需求中的关键词及其语义关联，在选定图像库中通过语义相关性分析得到“种子”图像；接下来在图像扩展检索中，采用基于SIFT特征的相似图像检索，利用之前得到的“种子”图像作为查询条件，在网络图像库中进行扩展检索，并在结果集上根据两次检索的图像相似度进行排序输出，最终得到更加丰富有效的图像检索结果。为了证明算法的有效性，在标准数据集Corel5K和网络数据集Deriantart8K上完成了多组实验，实验结果证明该方法能够得到较为精确地符合用户语义要求的图像检索结果，并且通过扩展算法可以得到更加丰富的检索结果。
