插值两个平行平面曲线的可展B样条曲面

两条位于平行平面上的分别是[n]次和[n+1]次B-样条曲线,以这两条曲线作边界生成一个直纹面,即[(n,n+1)]次B样条曲面,得到了该直纹面为可展曲面的充要条件,构造了（2,3）次可展B－样条曲面。通过对以上可展B样条曲面进行凸性分析,得到了（n,n+1）次可展B样条曲面为凸曲面的充要条件。给出了几个（2,3）次B-样条可展曲面。

The intersection of a bicubic Bézier patch and a plane

Let S be an arbitrarily given bicubic Bézier patch and P an arbitrarily given plane. In this paper, a necessary and sufficient condition for S ∩ P to be non-empty is given, and some properties of S ∩ P, if non-empty, are included. Furthermore an efficient and robust algorithm for finding S ∩ P is described, and many interesting examples are shown.

A new approach to generation of ruled surfaces and its applications in engineering

Based on the Study displacive theory that there is a one-to-one correspondence between an oriented straight line in three-dimensional Euclidean space (E ³) and a dual point on the surface of a dual unit sphere (DUS) in three-dimensional dual space (D ³), this paper presents a new methodology for the generation of ruled surfaces by planning (fitting or interpolating) the motion locus of a point on the surface of a DUS and discusses its applications in engineering. Some geometric problems and an optimal generation model for ruled surfaces are dealt with in detail. The correctness and effectiveness of this methodology are illustrated by examples and application in practice.
