一种自适应的网格计算资源组织与发现机制   总被引:4,自引:0,他引:4  
资源发现是网格计算中一个重要的研究问题.计算资源作为支撑网格应用的基础资源,其组织与发现机制尤为重要,但现有的技术和方法在效率、可伸缩性、自适应的动态演化以及对查询方式的支持方面仍有较大的局限性.基于网格应用对计算资源需求特征的深入分析,通过引入计算资源的主属性概念,按照平衡二叉排序树对计算资源进行分类组织,提出基于资源分类树(resource category tree,简称RCT)的资源组织与发现机制.首先,讨论了基于RCT对计算资源的组织机制,包括RCT的基本概念和原理、支持资源动态加入和退出以及资源状态动态变化的自组织机制、负载感知的自适应演化机制和基于备份节点的容错机制;然后,在基于RCT的资源组织结构下,设计了支持4种查询方式的搜索算法,并对算法的复杂度进行了分析;最后,通过多组仿真实验对RCT的性能进行了评估.  相似文献

Abstract

Rolling of thin gauge hot rolled (HR) coils demands stringent flatness tolerance. Thin HR coils (≤3 mm) are rolled towards the end of any rolling campaign. The profile and flatness of the strip depend on the profile of the loaded roll gap in the mill stands. There are five key factors that influence the loaded roll gap: initial roll surface profile, roll thermal expansion, wear of roll, deflection of roll stack and shifting of work rolls. This paper deals with all these factors individually for the formulation of an objective function in order to minimise the flatness error. The shifting and bending of rolls are the controllable parameters that require optimising. This has been accomplished using a genetic algorithm (GA) optimisation technique.  相似文献

Abstract

This study describes the identification of the main cause of deformation of titanium dental copings prepared by a new powder metallurgy method. The deformation was observed during the process development and needed to be explained to achieve an approved fit. The coping fabrication process was divided into stages to find the main cause of deformation. Each individual stage was investigated to find the cause. Primarily the pressing, milling and sintering steps and the tooth preparation dies (mandrels) were studied. The main cause of the deformation was found to be a deformation of the tooth preparation die during the pressing phase. The other stages were all shown to contribute only slightly or not measurably to the deformation. When using tooth preparation dies of a stronger material (stainless steel) the dies did not deform measurably during cold isostatic pressing and copings of various individual forms with an approved fit could be prepared.  相似文献

Information service plays a key role in grid system, handles resource discovery and management process. Employing existing information service architectures suffers from poor scalability, long search response time, and large traffic overhead. In this paper, we propose a service club mechanism, called S-Club, for efficient service discovery. In S-Club, an overlay based on existing Grid Information Service (GIS) mesh network of CROWN is built, so that GISs are organized as service clubs. Each club serves for a certain type of service while each GIS may join one or more clubs. S-Club is adopted in our CROWN Grid and the performance of S-Club is evaluated by comprehensive simulations. The results show that S-Club scheme significantly improves search performance and outperforms existing approaches. Chunming Hu is a research staff in the Institute of Advanced Computing Technology at the School of Computer Science and Engineering, Beihang University, Beijing, China. He received his B.E. and M.E. in Department of Computer Science and Engineering in Beihang University. He received the Ph.D. degree in School of Computer Science and Engineering of Beihang University, Beijing, China, 2005. His research interests include peer-to-peer and grid computing; distributed systems and software architectures. Yanmin Zhu is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Computer Science, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He received his B.S. degree in computer science from Xi’an Jiaotong University, Xi’an, China, in 2002. His research interests include grid computing, peer-to-peer networking, pervasive computing and sensor networks. He is a member of the IEEE and the IEEE Computer Society. Jinpeng Huai is a Professor and Vice President of Beihang University. He serves on the Steering Committee for Advanced Computing Technology Subject, the National High-Tech Program (863) as Chief Scientist. He is a member of the Consulting Committee of the Central Government’s Information Office, and Chairman of the Expert Committee in both the National e-Government Engineering Taskforce and the National e-Government Standard office. Dr. Huai and his colleagues are leading the key projects in e-Science of the National Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and Sino-UK. He has authored over 100 papers. His research interests include middleware, peer-to-peer (P2P), grid computing, trustworthiness and security. Yunhao Liu received his B.S. degree in Automation Department from Tsinghua University, China, in 1995, and an M.A. degree in Beijing Foreign Studies University, China, in 1997, and an M.S. and a Ph.D. degree in computer science and engineering at Michigan State University in 2003 and 2004, respectively. He is now an assistant professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. His research interests include peer-to-peer computing, pervasive computing, distributed systems, network security, grid computing, and high-speed networking. He is a senior member of the IEEE Computer Society. Lionel M. Ni is chair professor and head of the Computer Science and Engineering Department at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Lionel M. Ni received the Ph.D. degree in electrical and computer engineering from Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana, in 1980. He was a professor of computer science and engineering at Michigan State University from 1981 to 2003, where he received the Distinguished Faculty Award in 1994. His research interests include parallel architectures, distributed systems, high-speed networks, and pervasive computing. A fellow of the IEEE and the IEEE Computer Society, he has chaired many professional conferences and has received a number of awards for authoring outstanding papers.  相似文献

在网格环境中,多数节点希望能够更多地使用其他节点的资源,而不愿共享本地的资源.每个理性的用户在追求自身利益最大化的同时,严重影响了协作整体的运行效率.在实际应用中,要吸引资源的拥有者加入资源协作,就必须保证其利益和安全.讨论了资源激励机制和分配机制之间的依赖与制约关系,从经济、信任角度提出自适应的信任-激励相容的资源分配机制.在网格环境中,资源供需的变化会引发价格的浮动,基于经济学的一般均衡理论,给出了资源提供者的动态价格调整策略.提供者可根据当前资源的供需和负载状况,制定自适应的信任-激励相容的分配策略ATIM(adaptive trust-incentive compatible resource allocation),遵循多贡献多分配的原则,激励节点共享出有价值的资源,最大化资源的聚合效用.在CROWN(China research and development environment over wider-area network)平台中评估了ATIM机制的效率和性能.  相似文献

Abstract

Although a pair crossed rolling mill has a very high control capability of strip crown, a frictional force always occurs in the strip width direction between the strip and the work rolls. An analysis of rolling load was carried out, considering the shear deformation of strip cross-section caused by the frictional force. From the examination of the calculated results for a large-scale mill for production, the following conclusions were obtained: (a) the cross angle hardly influences the rolling force and torque, (b) the thrust force on the roll induced by the frictional force decreases as a result of shear deformation, (c) the thrust factor, i.e. the thrust force divided by the rolling force, is little influenced by the strip deformation resistance and the friction coefficient between the work rolls and the strip during hot rolling, (d) the thrust force applied to the rolls during hot rolling is 3–6% of the rolling force for the cross angle of 1° and this is not an obstacle related to the design of rolling mills.  相似文献

通过资源能力预留为网格服务提供确定的QoS保证是实现服务网格QoS管理的基础和关键.针对确定性资源能力预留的"资源能力碎片"问题,提出了一种支持松弛时间的灵活资源能力预留机制,并设计了支持松弛时间的资源预留请求接纳控制算法.在CROWN的节点服务器上实现了该机制,并通过仿真实验进行性能评价.结果表明,和已有的确定型预留机制相比,支持松弛时间的资源能力预留机制,使资源能力调度具有更多的自主性,可显著地提高网格资源的综合利用效率.  相似文献

随着网格技术研究和应用的不断深入,缺乏服务质量保证已成为制约网格应用的瓶颈之一.如何建立一个开放的、可扩展的体系结构,是当前支持端到端服务质量的服务网格体系结构研究的重要问题.提出了支持服务质量的服务网格层次体系结构(QESA),并通过对网格服务容器、信息服务与调度服务的服务质量扩展实现了该体系结构,设计了基于资源能力管理与服务预留的服务质量保证方法,讨论了服务质量感知的服务发现和服务调度的实现机制.通过中尺度天气系统降水量预报的网格应用(AREM)对其进行了性能评价,结果表明,基于QESA的服务网格中间件可为网格作业提供确定的服务质量保证能力.  相似文献

Based on a proposed Web service-based grid architecture, a service grid middleware system called CROWN is designed in this paper. As the two kernel points of the middleware, the overlay-based distributed grid resource management mechanism is proposed, and the policy-based distributed access control mechanism with the capability of automatic negotiation of the access control policy and trust management and negotia- tion is also discussed in this paper. Experience of CROWN testbed deployment and ap- plication development shows that the middleware can support the typical scenarios such as computing-intensive applications, data-intensive applications and mass information processing applications.  相似文献
