In this paper, a novel configuration of the cascaded multilevel inverters using series connection of new sub-multilevel basic blocks is presented. The basic structure of the proposed sub-multilevel inverter is made of three isolated batteries and eight unidirectional power switches. Hereby, by changing the polarity of one of such batteries and two power switches, two different modules of sub-multilevel inverters can be extracted that each of them is able to be incorporated into two different cascaded structures as the series basic blocks. Contemporary, to determine the suitable magnitudes of the integrated batteries, two different algorithms for each topology along with their relevant mathematical analysis have been also given. In this study, a complete comparison between the proposed topologies and several recently presented structures has been conducted. The compiled comparisons can prove the fact that both the proposed cascaded inverters are capable of generating a higher number of output voltage levels with less number of switching counts. Other advantages of these structures are reduction of voltage sources numbers, DC sources variety, value of total blocking voltage, and also conducting losses. In order to demonstrate the correct operation of the proposed structures and presented algorithms, some experimental results will be also shown.  相似文献

针对经典的电压-频率下垂控制系统受扰易产生振荡的问题,提出了加入功率微分项的下垂控制方法。建立了经典下垂控制与所提加功率微分项的下垂控制的并网逆变器完整的小信号模型。分析了下垂系数与功率微分系数对系统特征根分布的影响,得到了加入功率微分项后系统低频域特征根阻尼比增加、可有效抑制扰动带来的振荡的结论;分析了各参数变化对系统稳定性的影响,为系统参数设计与性能分析提供了理论依据。最后通过MATLAB/Simulink建立模型,在同样初始状态下系统取不同参数以及不同控制策略时,系统受扰的响应与理论分析一致,验证了建模与理论分析的正确性。  相似文献

As promising and suitable candidates for high‐power applications, multilevel inverters have become one of the most promising solutions in various applications. However, power switching devices are highly subjected to thermal overheating, which leads to shortened lifetime and reduced reliability. Thermal overheating may result from the degradation of power switching devices due to continuous overloading and power cycling. In addition, degradation and faults in the cooling system of power switching devices may cause thermal stresses as well. A new overheating‐tolerant space vector modulation algorithm is proposed in this paper to alleviate thermal stresses from overheated power switching device. The proposed algorithm relies on using the redundancy property between switching states in multilevel inverters to continuously evaluate a cost function of the junction temperature of the overheated device for all possible switching sequence sets and then selects the optimal switching sequence. In addition, the proposed algorithm preserves the DC‐link capacitor voltage without reduction in the output current of the inverter. The proposed algorithm is general, which can be applied to n‐level inverters. Both simulation and experimental results reveal the efficient performance of the proposed algorithm using a three‐level T‐type inverter as a case study. Accordingly, the lifetime and reliability of the inverter are enhanced considerably using the proposed algorithm. © 2016 Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan. 共直流母线的逆变器的并联会产生零序环流,导致逆变器三相电流不平衡、输出电流失真、系统损耗增加等问题。针对逆变器的并联零序环流问题,文中基于逆变器并联的零序环流等效模型,分析了逆变器的并联零序环流产生机理、组成成分。在上述基础上,研究了一种基于有效零矢量脉宽调制和比例—谐振(PR)控制的逆变器并联零序环流控制策略,该策略通过利用非零矢量来替换零矢量,以减少高频零序环流,通过采用PR控制的零序电流闭环控制以抑制低频零序环流。该策略具有直流电压利用率高、零序环流小的优点。实验结果验证了所述方法的有效性。  相似文献

针对于Ⅱ型混合级联型多电平逆变器混合调制中,输出电平切换时出现的低压单元直流侧电流倒灌问题,提出了一种改进的混合频率载波调制策略.该策略采用频率相差1倍,且幅值相同的6个层叠载波对正弦调制波进行混合调制,兼顾了低压单元和高压单元的性能,在保障输出电压波形质量的同时,完全解决了电流倒灌问题.以Ⅱ型混合级联七电平逆变器为例,在给定相关参数下对该策略进行了仿真和实验验证,研究结果表明该策略下逆变器相电压和线电压总谐波畸变率分别为19.90%和17.34%,谐波主要分布在载波比两侧,直流侧电流倒灌问题被完全消除.  相似文献

在分析低压微电网多逆变器并联基本原理的基础上,引入虚拟复阻抗,并给出一种改进的下垂控制策略。通过设计虚拟复阻抗参数值,使逆变器等效输出阻抗在工频处呈阻性,提高逆变器并联的均流效果。采用电容电压和电容电流双环控制,首先通过研究虚拟复阻抗中参数选择对于抑制环流的影响,进而确定基本的参数大小。其次,通过对比输出阻抗幅频特性,具体分析在不同参数情况下对逆变器输出阻抗特性的影响。再通过理论详细分析和计算,给出一种改进的下垂控制方法,并与虚拟复阻抗结合。最后,搭建仿真模型,选取上述经过理论研究的参数值,仿真验证分析虚拟复阻抗中参数对输出电压的影响以及改进下垂控制的可行性,证实所提方法的有效性和正确性。  相似文献

A novel multilevel current source inverter (MCSI) configuration is introduced in this paper. The ability of handling with asymmetrical DC sources is one of the substantial advantages of the proposed inverter. In asymmetric mode, by appropriate selection of DC sources magnitude, a considerable increase can be obtained in the number of output levels without any manipulation on inverters’ hardware. In MCSIs, the number of required circuit devices is very important because the overall costs, circuit size, reliability and control complexity are dependent on them directly. The proposed inverter can generate all desired current levels using a lower number of elements. Besides, it is known that reduction of number of switches from conventional inverters imposes an undesired increase in total semiconductor device power (SDP). But, the total SDP of the proposed inverter is kept equal to conventional inverter. To validate the superiority of the proposed inverter, a full comparison is provided. Also, the computer simulation and experimental results are presented.  相似文献
