The Plants of the Asteraceae Family as Agents in the Protection of Human Health

The Asteraceae family is one of the largest flowering plant families, with over 1600 genera and 2500 species worldwide. Some of its most well-known taxa are lettuce, chicory, artichoke, daisy and dandelion. The members of the Asteraceae have been used in the diet and for medicine for centuries. Despite their wide diversity, most family members share a similar chemical composition: for example, all species are good sources of inulin, a natural polysaccharide with strong prebiotic properties. They also demonstrate strong antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial activity, as well as diuretic and wound healing properties. Their pharmacological effects can be attributed to their range of phytochemical compounds, including polyphenols, phenolic acids, flavonoids, acetylenes and triterpenes. One such example is arctiin: a ligand with numerous antioxidant, antiproliferative and desmutagenic activities. The family is also a source of sesquiterpene lactones: the secondary metabolites responsible for the bitter taste of many plants. This mini review examines the current state of literature regarding the positive effect of the Asteraceae family on human health.     

Design of delayed reconfigurable manufacturing system based on part family grouping and machine selection

To improve the convertibility of reconfigurable manufacturing system (RMS), the concept of delayed reconfigurable manufacturing system (D-RMS) was proposed. RMS and D-RMS are both constructed around part family. However, D-RMS may suffer from ultra-long system problem with unacceptable idle machines using generic RMS part families. Besides, considering the complex basic system structure of D-RMS, machine selection of D-RMS should be addressed, including dedicated machine, flexible machine, and reconfigurable machine. Therefore, a system design method for D-RMS based on part family grouping and machine selection is proposed. Firstly, a part family grouping method is proposed for D-RMS that groups the parts with more former common operations into the same part family. The concept of longest relative position common operation subsequence (LPCS) is proposed. The similarity coefficient among the parts is calculated based on LPCS. The reciprocal value of the operation position of LPCS is adopted as the characteristic value. The average linkage clustering (ALC) algorithm is used to cluster the parts. Secondly, a machine selection method is proposed to complete the system design of D-RMS, including machine selection rules and the dividing point decision model. Finally, a case study is given to implement and verify the proposed system design method for D-RMS. The results show that the proposed system design method is effective, which can group parts with more former common operations into the same part family and select appropriate machine types.     

填料生物转盘对农村家庭生活污水的处理

根据目前我国农村生活污水处理的现状以及农村家庭污水水量、水质的特点,提出了一种家庭生活污水处理装置-填料生物转盘。该装置采用生物膜法工艺,结合生物转盘与生物滤池工艺的特点,运用设备一体化的设计理念,设计了一种运行管理简单、结构紧凑的一体化装置。通过实际运行考察了装置用于农村家庭生活污水处理的挂膜启动情况,以及污染物的去除效果。结果表明:填料生物转盘生物膜的驯化培养需要20天的时间,稳定运行期间对COD、NH4+-N、TN、TP的平均去除率分别稳定在75%、85%、65%和75%以上,出水COD、NH4+-N、TN优于城镇污水处理厂污染物排放标准(GB 18918-2002)一级A标准,出水TP达到一级B标准。装置运行管理操作简单,不需要专业技术人员,适合农村家庭污水的处理。     

烟草DGAT基因家族全基因组鉴定与分析

二酰甘油酰基转移酶（DGAT）是三酰甘油合成的关键酶和唯一限速酶。在烟草中鉴定DGAT基因对于研究油脂代谢途径和创造具有附加值的新型油料作物具有重要意义。本研究从烟草基因组鉴定DGAT家族基因，并对序列特性、基因结构、亚细胞定位、进化模式、表达模式等进行分析。结果表明，共获得25个烟草DGAT家族蛋白，其平均氨基酸长度为485，大部分为碱性蛋白和亲水性蛋白，有13个DGAT蛋白定位到8条连锁群上；有16个蛋白定位到内质网，6个定位叶绿体，3个定位到胞外；烟草DGAT蛋白包含典型的WS_DGAT结构域和LPLAT结构域；系统发育树将DGAT家族分为DGAT1、DGAT2、DGAT3和WSD等4个类群，但烟草DGAT仅划分到DGAT2和WSD两个类群；不同烟草DGAT基因的时空表达特性有所差异，并表现出一定的组织特异性，主要集中在衰老叶片和花器官中大量表达。     

一种家用手持式红外偏振光治疗仪的设计与实现

红外偏振光治疗仪是一种将红外技术与电子技术应用到医学领域的康复理疗设备,主要用于软组织损伤和慢性疼痛的康复治疗,已在医院得到了推广使用。然而,现有医院使用的台式治疗仪由于体积大、售价高等特点,不方便居家使用。为了开发体积小、售价低、家庭可用的红外偏振光治疗仪,满足家用市场的潜在需求,本文提出了一种新的便携手持式红外偏振光治疗仪,并开发了该智能控制系统。本文首先介绍了一种新的家用手持式治疗仪应具备的特点和关键技术指标,在此基础上设计了手持式治疗仪的硬件总体方案和软件架构,简要介绍了该治疗仪的一些关键技术,最终实现了治疗仪样机的研制。为了验证该样机的性能,本文通过大量的测试,结果表明,研制的手持式红外偏振光治疗仪在关键参数指标上达到了医院同类产品的水平,能够很好地满足家用的需求,具有良好的市场前景。     

Generalized Marshall Olkin Inverse Lindley Distribution with Applications

In this article, a new generalization of the inverse Lindley distribution is introduced based on Marshall-Olkin family of distributions. We call the new distribution, the generalized Marshall-Olkin inverse Lindley distribution which offers more flexibility for modeling lifetime data. The new distribution includes the inverse Lindley and the Marshall-Olkin inverse Lindley as special distributions. Essential properties of the generalized Marshall-Olkin inverse Lindley distribution are discussed and investigated including, quantile function, ordinary moments, incomplete moments, moments of residual and stochastic ordering. Maximum likelihood method of estimation is considered under complete, Type-I censoring and Type-II censoring. Maximum likelihood estimators as well as approximate confidence intervals of the population parameters are discussed. A comprehensive simulation study is done to assess the performance of estimates based on their biases and mean square errors. The notability of the generalized Marshall-Olkin inverse Lindley model is clarified by means of two real data sets. The results showed the fact that the generalized Marshall-Olkin inverse Lindley model can produce better fits than power Lindley, extended Lindley, alpha power transmuted Lindley, alpha power extended exponential and Lindley distributions.
