Image sequence-based risk behavior detection of power operation inspection personnel

A novel image sequence-based risk behavior detection method to achieve high-precision risk behavior detection for power maintenance personnel is proposed in this paper. In this method, the original image sequence data is first separated from the foreground and background. Then, the free anchor frame detection method is used in the foreground image to detect the personnel and correct their direction. Finally, human posture nodes are extracted from each frame of the image sequence, which are then used to identify the abnormal behavior of the human. Simulation experiment results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm has significant advantages in terms of the accuracy of human posture node detection and risk behavior identification.     

采用八叉树和OSG分页结点的海量点云三维可视化

针对现有海量点云可视化方法存在索引构建时间长、内存占用大等问题，研究一种八叉树索引结合OSG分页结点的快速可视化方法，可在占用较小内存的基础上快速建立点云索引并实时调度。采用八叉树索引结构对海量点云进行数据组织，建立各层级的八叉树结点并以文件映射的方式分块保存，对结点文件重组织转换为支持OSG渲染引擎的多分辨率点云数据。采用基于OSG分页结点的实时调度技术，对海量点云进行高质量可视化。与目前两款主流的点云数据处理商业软件进行实验对比分析，结果表明所提方法具有索引建立速度快、内存占用小等优点，同时可视化交互更加流畅，适用于各种配置计算机下海量点云数据的调度管理与实时可视化。     

The impacts of cattle access points on deposited sediment levels in headwater streams in Ireland

Cattle access to streams has been linked globally with degradation of stream water quality, driven largely by bank erosion and resultant instream, fine sediment deposition. The majority of evidence on such effects is however based in arid and semiarid regions of the United States and Australia, with few studies relating to cool temperate climates such as Northwest Europe. In this study, “Quorer” resuspendable sediment samples were taken from riffle geomorphic units upstream (control) and at two points downstream (pressure and recovery) of cattle access points in headwater streams in agricultural catchments in Ireland to assess levels of deposited stream sediment. Samples were taken in April/May (2016) prior to the grazing season and in October (2016) at the end of the grazing season. Sites in good‐high ecological status catchments and less than good ecological status catchments were included in the study. Higher levels of sediment were found downstream of cattle access points in both good‐high status and less than good status catchments; however, the impacts of access points were spatially confined to, in most cases, the area immediately downstream of the point of access. There was a strong correlation between deposited sediment mass and organic matter (OM) mass, with levels of OM increasing linearly with deposited sediment mass. Levels of measured sediment were negatively correlated with riparian habitat health (measured using a qualitative habitat assessment). The results of this study highlight the need for measures to prevent cattle access to headwater streams where access points can be many in order to manage local habitat quality and downstream water quality issues.     

Study and comparison of the unique selling propositions (USPs) of free-to-use multinational patent search systems

The article analyses and compares some free-to-use patent search services which are not managed by patent authorities but which may offer unique selling propositions (USPs) beyond the expected, standard, search functions. Those services selected for this study are Google Patents, Lens, Patent Inspiration, Free Patents Online, SureChEMBL and Octimine. For this comparative study a total set of 66 criteria were analysed for each of the six search services. Furthermore the USPs and perceived advantages and disadvantages were identified. The study concluded that some of these search services are better suited for general prior art searches or patent analysis while others are applicable for patent searches in specific fields like biotechnology or pharmaceuticals.     

移动物料信息分布式传输方法及应用

在流程工业生产中,移动物料计量信息的传输普遍采用电台和无线模块。接收电台周围环境严重影响计量信息的传输效果,尤其是钢结构厂房、电磁干扰区内,数据传输过程中的丢包率、误码率相当严重。本文提出一种多节点分布式传输方法,根据各个生产作业区环境条件设置相应的WIFI节点数,实现对作业区的无线信号覆盖。网络覆盖区内无线模块、PDA终端(PDA)、终端查询设备通过节点工作频段和阵列天线自适应调节,实现数据传输最佳化。铜熔炼生产现场测试表明,此种传输方法可以有效消除周围环境的电磁干扰,数据丢包率低于0.1%。     

Compiler compatible 5.66 Mb/mm2 8T 1R1W register file in 14 nm FinFET technology

1-read/1-write (1R1W) register file (RF) is a popular memory configuration in modern feature rich SoCs requiring significant amount of embedded memory. A memory compiler is constructed using the 8T RF bitcell spanning a range of instances from 32 b to 72 Kb. An 8T low-leakage bitcell of 0.106 μm² is used in a 14 nm FinFET technology with a 70 nm contacted gate pitch for high-density (HD) two-port (TP) RF memory compiler which achieves 5.66 Mb/mm² array density for a 72 Kb array which is the highest reported density in 14 nm FinFET technology. The density improvement is achieved by using techniques such as leaf-cell optimization (eliminating transistors), better architectural planning, top level connectivity through leaf-cell abutment and minimizing the number of unique leaf-cells. These techniques are fully compatible with memory compiler usage over the required span. Leakage power is minimized by using power-switches without degrading the density mentioned above. Self-induced supply voltage collapse technique is applied for write and a four stack static keeper is used for read Vmin improvement. Fabricated test chips using 14 nm process have demonstrated 2.33 GHz performance at 1.1 V/25 °C operation. Overall V_min of 550 mV is achieved with this design at 25 °C. The inbuilt power-switch improves leakage power by 12x in simulation. Approximately 8% die area of a leading 14 nm SoC in commercialization is occupied by these compiled RF instances.     

藕节多酚超声波辅助提取工艺优化及其抗油脂氧化能力研究

以藕节多酚得率为评价指标,超声时间、超声温度、料液比和乙醇体积分数为影响因素,通过单因素试验和Box-Behnken(BBD)试验设计优化藕节多酚的提取工艺条件,同时采用恒温箱热贮藏试验法研究藕节多酚的抗油脂氧化能力。结果表明:藕节多酚的最佳提取条件为超声时间34 min、超声温度50℃、料液比1∶20、乙醇体积分数70%,在此条件下藕节多酚得率为(7. 11±0. 14)%;藕节多酚能够明显减缓油脂过氧化值的升高趋势,对动植物油脂的自氧化均有明显的抑制作用,且具有一定的浓度依赖性。

公民新闻的诞生源于信息网络技术的推动,同时也得力于媒介接近权的付诸实践。结合国内外学者的网络社会学主要研究成果,本文着重探索和分析了媒介权力变移所呈现出来的知识化、扁平化和分散化的趋向,并分析研究了现今阶段公民新闻在媒介权力变移过程的所面临的问题。     

Using contingent behavior analysis to measure benefits from rural electrification in developing countries: an example from Rwanda

Hundreds of millions of people in Sub-Saharan Africa do not have access to electricity and will not receive it from national grids in the next few decades. Electricity makes up an important component of rural development and so increasing access can have positive socioeconomic benefits. In this study, we use contingent behavior analysis to quantify the potential benefits of electricity in rural Rwandan villages which currently do not have electricity. The proposed method allows for calculation of net benefits as well as electricity bills. We find that even relatively poor, isolated households would pay for electricity, though amounts vary across households and this affects the financial viability of electrification. Common uses for electricity include lighting, battery charging, and agricultural processing. Despite heterogeneity, opportunities exist to improve rural economic welfare through increased electricity access.
